Sang-Ook's P.O.V.

New Bin's Corp, Sang-ook' Office

I sat in my office as I did my work.

Well tried to.

In all honesty, I couldn't help but think about the woman named Charley. I know she is in better hands, but those messages she got from that person named Jocelyn were nasty. Her older sister, Cher, deleted the more messed-up messages, but to know that there would have been a chance that Charley could have seen them right after suffering from anaphylactic shock doesn't sit right with me. Who is that woman, and what does she have against her? From the conversation I had with her family, they seemed to slate over any talk about this Jocelyn. “I heard you went out after work yesterday.” I looked at the older, beige-skinned man with salt and pepper hair, purple eyes, and dressed in a black suit, standing in my doorway.

“I did,” I said. He walked inside.

“Did you meet someone?”

“Yes, you might like her.” He took a seat in the chair across from me.

“How did that go?”

“She went into anaphylactic shock.” His eyes widened.

“She did? That is surprising. What happened after?”

“She's in the hospital now. I plan to see her after work.”

“You know your brother is expecting you to be at his dinner by nine.”

“I will be there.”

“But late.”

“Yeah,” He sighed.

“Listen, I get that you don't want to go, but try to at least be on time. If that woman you met is okay, invite her.” My father wants to meet her. There is no doubt he does, but I can't just invite a woman who doesn't even know if she wants to be with me to an event where she may feel uncomfortable. Maybe I should ask her.

“I will ask her if she wants to go.”

“Great”

Charley's P.O.V.

I stared at my phone in annoyance as I texted Jocelyn back. She wants me to come over, but I do not want to. She has friends who can hang out with her. Ones who talk shit about me as if I don't know who they are talking about. Yet the moment I question them about it, they are silent. It's funny how people do stupid things and expect things to go peacefully. “Sang-Ook's a handsome man.” I looked up at Janie with a smirk. My sister came beside her with a matching smirk.

“Sang-Ook?” I questioned Janie.

“The man from before,” Cher said.

“Oh”

That's his name

“You two met last night, right?” Janie asked with her deep brown eyes staring into mine.

She's reading me again.

“They met last night? That's interesting. How could they have met last night?” Cher asked as she looked at me into my eyes with her green ones.

Cher is doing it too.

“Charley went to a ball,” Janie said.

“So she met a prince there?” Cher asked. Janie nodded.

“Yup,” My cheeks reddenin in embarrassment. They must be happy. It's been a while since they have seen me with a man besides work purposes. My phone vibrated. I looked at it to see that I had a new follower on Wo. I tapped on the notification to see that, to my surprise, Bryson was my new follower. I examined his profile to see that he seemed to be a bit of a traveler.

South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia

Oh, how nice it would be to travel. “Are you going to date him, or are you two already dating?”

“Huh?” I looked up as I heard Cher's question. Janie and Cher looked at me with curiosity.

“Mr. Prince,” Cher said.

“He's handsome and has a good standing financially.” Janie chimed.

“He seems interested in you, from what we have seen,” Cher added.

“He's respectful and thoughtful,” Janie said.

“Mom and Dad also seem to like him,” Cher said. He is handsome and seems financially stable. He drove me here, so he has a car. I just didn't pay much attention to it, but it didn't sound like a bad car. He is also respectful, thoughtful, and forward with his intentions. Not to mention the fact that Cher said our parents like him, too. My cheeks reddened once more. They smirked.

“I have a feeling you like him.” Janie teased. My entire face reddened.

“You do!” Cher cheered.

“And if I do?” I said dauntlessly while puffing out my chest.

“Their eyes widened before they looked at each other.”

“Finally!” The two cheered. My mouth dropped.

What the hell do they mean, finally?

My parents walked inside. “The nurse will soon be in here with your discharge papers. What do you say we go out to eat to celebrate?” My father asked. Observing my mother's deep purple eyes and my father's green eyes, I could see the sorrow in them. I could understand. They weren't sure if I would make it had no one had been there to save me. I couldn't judge them.

“Sure,” Janie said.

“Count me in, but I will have to leave early to get Zoey from daycare,” Cher said.

“Okay, what about you, sweetie?” My mother asked.

“I would love to go,” I said.

This hospital bill

is going to be ass

“I'm going to change,” I said before standing up and grabbing the clothes Cher brought from my home, and walking into the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and began to get dressed. I slide on the dark pair of jeans.

There is no doubt Sang-ook still has feelings for me. The thing is that I am not sure what to do. It would be nice to get to know him, despite his weirdness. He was kind and didn't care about who I was or what I did. Instead, he chose to understand me, but the thing is, he is a stranger whom I met last night. I put on my sheer red long-sleeved shirt.

Maybe I should call him when I get home. I can offer to go out to dinner with him as payback. No! Maybe. Actually, we can go out to dinner and talk. I walked outside the bathroom. The discharge nurse walked up to me with the papers.

“These are your papers. You may feel slightly lethargic from the medicine, but besides that, you are free to go.”

“What about the bill?” I asked.

“Oh, Mr. Bin paid for it.”

“Huh?” I questioned.

“Mr. Bin, the son of the man who owns this hospital.” There is no way his last name is Bin!

“Sang-ook Bin?” I questioned. She nodded.

“Yup, he said to keep it a secret unless you asked.”

“Oh”

Fuck!

Everyone knows the Bin's are people who create everything needed. Their company owns some of the biggest companies to exist. Anything from popular banks to fast-food chains, not to mention simple things such as tissue paper and paper towels. They also have investments in anything from medical supplies to banks, and not to forget the universities. The Bin's are also one of the richest people in the freaking world! I knew they had children, but to know that one was close by feels surprising. On top of that, the one who was close by is in love with me!

Sang-Ook's P.O.V.

Sang-ook’s Office, Night

I stared at my phone as I tried to figure out what to wear for the night. Charley seems to be a fashionable woman, and to see her while dressed in my work clothes again feels embarrassing. My phone began to ring. I jumped and dropped it on the floor.

I raced to pick it up, ignoring the crack on the screen as my heart raced. As I saw the unfamiliar number pop up on my phone, I lit up. There is a chance that it's Charley. I answered it. “Hello?” I asked.

“Sang-ook?” My cheeks reddened as I heard Charley say my name.

It sounds so cute.

“Yes, this is him,” I said.

“It's me, Charley. We met each other yesterday.”

“How can I forget?”

“Listen, are you busy tonight?”

“Well, I am supposed to go to a dinner my brother is hosting tonight.”

“Oh,”

“I can skip it, though-”

“No, if anything, you should go.”

“It's going to be boring to tell you the truth. Spending time with you feels fun, though.” She paused. “Charley?”

“Sang-ook-” She stopped. Maybe I said something weird. I should be direct.

“Would you like to come with me?” I asked.

“Sure.” She said with shyness in her voice. Perhaps she was flustered from what I said.

Charley's P.O.V.

An Hour Later

I stood in nervousness at the park as I waited for Sang-ook to pick me up. I feel like I am overdressed. I did look up some images online for a dinner with family, but saw what looked like images some people use for their fanfictions.  I ended up going with a long cream satin dress with a burgundy rose pattern from top to bottom and a pale yellow shawl.

I sighed. This feels like I am in some fan fiction. A handsome, rich man meets you at a ball and falls in love with you. He proposes, and you accept his request only to meet his family, who hate you, and his friend, who is secretly in love with you, tries to kill you. Then you survive, but his mother hates you and offers you one million dollars, and you don't want to accept, but you are pregnant with his baby, so you think that it's best to accept the money and leave, but your pride and love for him make you deny the money. Then you- “Charley?” I looked in front of me for my mouth to drop. Sang-ook is dressed in a black long-sleeved button-up shirt with a pair of black pants. He looks like the male lead in those fanfictions I found myself getting dragged into reading as I tried to find images of what to wear today. Not to mention his car?!  An expensive half-million-dollar car in black! My father told me about it just last week, too. Who knew this would have been beneficial to learn about so suddenly? This is what he took me to the hospital yesterday? I didn't notice it at all!

“You look amazing.” He said before walking to the passenger side.

“Thank you,” I said. What did I do in my past life to deserve this? Actually, what have I done recently to deserve this? He opened the passenger door.

“Ready to go?”

Should I go? If so I would be meeting his family but if I go back home and lay down I can get some hours of sleep in before going to work tomorrow.
