Sang-ook's P.O.V.
The Bin's Second Estate, The Dining Room
I sat next to Charley, who twiddled her fingers in what I assumed was nervousness. My family hasn't said anything since we got here. Of course, she would be nervous. What can I do to calm her? Maybe I can hold her hand or something, but I don't think she would feel comfortable about that. My eyes looked at the tall, pale man with black hair styled in a mash perm and purple eyes, sitting across from us, otherwise known as Cheol-min. No one has said anything, but from my older brother's eyes, I can tell Charley has piqued his interest.
“So, Charley, what do you do for a living?” My eyes went to the rose-beige skin, average height and build, long wavy pigmented red hair, gold-colored eyes, and a mole on the left side of her nose. That's my youngest brother's wife, Ye-won.
“I'm a data scientist at Golexi.” She answered.
“Golexi, our competitors,” Ye-won said playfully. Charley's eyes widened.
“Oh, I didn't know.” She started.
“Having a senior data analyst at our company who once worked at our competitors and who is nearly beating us this year could help,” I said. My father nodded.
“He has a point.” He responded.
“It seems my brother always thinks about business.” Said a man sitting next to Ye-won with warm beige skin, deep gray eyes, and black short-cut hair that had curly curtain bangs. He was Min-kyu, my youngest brother, and Ye-won's husband.
“I am, but it's not business that made me feel the way I feel for Charley,” I responded, causing Charley's face to blush.
“That's so cute,” Ye-won said, causing Charley's face to blush a deeper shade of red.
“You two met at the ball, right? How was it?” My father asked Charley.
“It was unexpected. Originally, I had been there to get her out of the house. I found myself meeting Sang-ook not too long after entering.” Charley responded.
“You were the one dressed in that white dress with tulle, right?” Cheol-min asked.
Shit, I forgot he was there.
“Yes”
“It looked nice and unlike anything at the stores around here. Did you get a designer to create it?”
“I actually designed it myself.” The table's eyes widened.
“You created a ball gown yourself?” My mother, a pale, short woman with long brunette hair and deep gray eyes, asked.
“Yes”
“Was this a one-time thing, or have you been doing stuff like this for a while?” My mother asked.
“I have been creating clothing and fashion for about twenty years now.”
“Twenty years? That's a long time.” Ye-won said in surprise.
“It was more like a hobby my parents showed me when I was younger. As I grew older, there were certain clothes that I liked, but I felt that my summer job didn't pay me enough to get everything I wanted. I found myself soon creating clothes to make myself feel better and even creating clothes for my friends.” Charley seems to be talented in a lot of things. From data analysis to clothing making. It's so interesting to know that about her.
“A woman with multiple talents. That's truly interesting.” Cheol-min said.
“This dress, is there a picture of it?” My mother asked.
“Yes,” Charley grabbed her phone from her purse. She swiped some things (messages from Jocelyn) before showing the phone to my mother. As my mother saw the design, her eyes widened.
“This design, I saw something like this before,” My mother said. She showed the design to Ye-won. “This looks familiar, right?” Ye-won's eyes widened as she saw the image.
“Have you ever sold your designs?” Ye-won asked. Charley nodded.
“I sold a few of my old dresses some time ago. I didn't have enough space for them.” Charley said.
“I have one of your dresses. I have been taking good care of it. I tried to find the original designer but saw your account was no longer on the website.” Ye-won said. Charley's eyes widened before suddenly her eyes started to gloss over. There is a story she isn't talking about, right? Maybe she sold her dresses for money to pay off her debt, and not just because she didn't have space for them. I should do something.
“Charley, are you okay?” I asked lowly. She nodded and gave me a bright smile.
“I am glad that the buyer of one of my designs takes care of it.” She looked at Ye-won. “I always wondered what happened afterward. Did someone sell it to someone else or throw it away after some years? I'm just happy to know that after all this time, one of my dresses is okay.” Ye-won smiled.
“How can I not? It's truly beautiful.”
“Charley, do you make men's clothing as well?” I asked. She looked at me and slowly nodded.
“I don't make it as much, but I have made some suits and other clothes for my guy friends.”
“Would you like to make something for me?” She examined me before nodding.
“Sure”
“Me too,” Ye-won said. “Whatever commission price you are going for, I will pay.” She finished.
“Count me in, then. Ye-won has been saying I needed to improve my fashion sense.” Min-kyu said. Charley smiled.

An Hour and a Half Later, Sang-ook's Car
I stared out of the window as the multiple designs for everyone ran through my head. It's been a while since I felt this zone. It's going to be hard managing working overtime and creating these clothes, but seeing that I am getting paid for this, I may not have to work as much as I thought I would. The car stopped. Sang-ook walked out of the car and came to my side before he opened the door. “Thank you,” I said before walking out of the car.
“Message me when you get home, okay.” He said as he looked at me in my eyes with sternness. I nodded.
“I will.” Deep in his eyes, I could tell he was worried, but I had walked down this path multiple times, even at night.
“Okay,” I started to leave, but stopped and looked at him.
“Sang-ook?” He looked at me.
“Yes, Charley?”
“It was nice meeting your family today.” A smile came to my lips. “It was also nice spending time with you today.” His cheeks and his ears became red. He looked away from me.
“It was also nice spending time with you as well today.”
“Until next time,” I said before walking away. When I arrived at my condo building, I felt myself nearly skipping in excitement. I GET TO DESIGN AND CREATE! It's been so long since I have done that for someone else. I spun in a circle before greeting the doorman and walking inside of the building. I entered the elevator and pressed the button for my floor before leaning against the elevator rails. Today was strange but in a good way. I didn't have to work today, and my job didn't mind it. I went out to eat with my family and my best friend. I then ate and met Sang-ook's family, who then commissioned me to create clothing for them.
The elevator doors opened. I walked down the hallway and towards my condo. When I got to my door, I froze. Standing there was an
avenge build and average height, amber-brown skin, a woman with short curly deep brunette hair, and emerald green eyes.
“Jocelyn”
