Rhea Nox

Age: 20-23 (BIRTH YEAR UNKNOWN)

Birthdate: Stromcrawler Rush (The very first two full moons)

Likes: Meat is her favorite, hunting, singing, reading, telling stories, sunny days, jungle, freedom

Dislikes: Spices or Dragon pepper, told what to do, senseless torture, slavery, obstructive clothes

Eye color: Silver Eyes

Hair Color and Length: Black closer to the roots, red in the tips and streaking when the sun hits it. Some say it is the colors of a cooling campfire. Curly hair reaches to her lower back when dry, wet it goes as far as mid-thigh.

Skin Color: Dark warm brown, relatively blemish and scar free.

Languages: Moarin, Krax, Vhaltian

Physical appearance: Typical leaves her hair loose and unbrushed, the curls more “manageable” when she just combs it through with her fingers. Very thin when she starts out the crew, she should be gaining weight as time progresses. Shortest adult in the crew.

Weapon of Choice: Bow and Arrows. Mana. Daggers

Her first bow was made by her parents; she left it at their hideout before their deaths. When she escaped Tristanope she went back to her old home to retrieve it. It was made by the wood of the Junxe tree, bark light and had many carvings of varying languages. Little messages her father or mother would leave for her whenever she lost her bow. A certain parenting punishment. The very last one said something about being stronger than any sage, the words of her father before the fated day.

Relatives: Nolan Nox and Lindiwe Nox (Parents), Connor (husband), Adenaya(Aunty: Alive?)

History: Her parents were exiled from the Kraxxian clan, so she ended up spending most of her time with them learning about the world through her father’s stories and her mother’s trainings. Her parents were killed by the Krax clan when she was around 15-16 years of age.

Rhea joined Connor’s crew roughly two months ago. A lot has happened in these two months. Before joining, she assisted Connor and Ranko in fighting the Death Twister Gang in Renuo. She endured a shot from the Armor Brothers who are mercenaries.

Rhea assisted Connor in the infiltration of Dasmascus. Where she burned it down to save the crew.

Connor and Rhea married at the Gillard’s Way. He got kidnapped by a man named Viktor who closely works for the Caem’s. Then she enlisted Azar before going to the Caem residence. She with the help of the crew helped save Connor.

Captain Connor

Age:24

Birthday: 15th of Gesparg Void

Likes: Order, completing tasks, the sea, sailing, alchemy, ships, certain sweets(of the cinnamon kind: a dirty little secret)

Dislikes: Alcohol misuse, inconvenienced, liars, vanity, certain women of the promiscuous side, and senseless killing. He won’t kill unless truly endangered or provoked (self-defense)

Hair Color and Length: Brown and straight, certain strands are bleached from the sun. the length will vary drastically throughout his travel, never exceeds past his shoulders. At the beginning of our tale, it is long on the top and short on the sides.

Eye Color: A shade of copper, dirty gold. More brown than gold.

Physical appearance: Six feet of muscle and pure authority. Skin tan from being out in the sun, his usual skin color is light. He has many physical scars. A circular scar from an old bullet wound just below his right collar bone. A thin raised scar line on his left bicep. Then a giant spray of small pebbled raised skin scars above his hip bone, more than likely from a shot gun

Weapon of Choice: An eight-barrel silver pistol augmented to take on alchemy laced bullets. A scabbard sword that has been by his left side for a while, he tends to swap out swords after ab while. He will never give up his pistol. A rifle once owned by his father the very same one that caused the scars on his hip area.

Relatives: Bethany Caem (mother), Gerard Caem (father), Captain Rolandd (master/adopted guardian), His crew. Rhea Nox (Wife)

History: His mask of confidence hides so much from the people around him. He had lost his master at the age of nineteen, and Adenaya when he was six. Despite the traumas he hides, he is very smart and can talk himself out of most trouble. A dark secret in him is pushing him to pursue his current goals. There are many things he has accomplished after his master’s untimely death. He stole the Draken Jewel from the big Three Gods Temple. Escaped Alabast Prison and recruited the executioner (Trevor) there. Adopted a seven-year-old Ruffin. Recruited Iggy just four years ago after suffering immense damage to his ship.

Connor is the son of Bethany and Gerard Caem. He is supposedly the “prince” of the Chimera Empire due to a collateral he has yet to share.

His father shot him with a rifle at the age of seven when Connor refuse to obey him. He barely survived it, somehow being found by the crew members of Captain Roland’s ship. He was then raised by Captain Roland as a student of alchemy yet most people just assume that he was adopted by Captain Roland but there’s no proof.

Connor lost Roland at the age of 19 but hasn’t said why, just became a captain right after due to popular vote.

He is after the Trail Artifacts for a reason but hasn’t shed light on it yet.

Jerold Cavar

Age: 28

Birthday: 35th Cetus Tail

Likes: Drama, romance, fun, children, family, crew

Dislikes: Rules, no fun, grumpy people, sweets, being the main focus

Hair Color and Length: Lighter brown hair, swept back in a bandana. He leaves one very long braid to be tied up by a white orbed gem.

Eye Color: Murky brown

Physical Appearance: Scraggly and thin. Grown out a short patch of hair along his long thin cheeks and chin.

Weapon of Choice: Two swords and a shotgun.

Profession: Swashbuckler. Connor’s secret wingman that even Connor doesn’t know or wants to.

Relative: Iris Cavar (wife). Six children: Mina, Tres, Vega, Jerold JR, Joy, Vy.

Mina is their first-born daughter. Troublemaker (8 years old)

Tres is their second daughter, a sidekick to Mina. (7 years old)

Vega quiet boy, their first son. (6 years old)

Jerold Jr is their second son and looks and acts the most like Jerold. (5 years old)

Joy is a bubbly young boy, often too young to hang out with the other kids. (3 years old)

Vy still baby boy (only a few months old)

History: Iris and Jerold met Connor at a small port town while they were trying to sell their market goods. This was around the time Jerold Jr first came to life. Juggling four kids and a failing business, Connor made an offer to hard to resist. Now he is the best swashbuckler in this crew.

Cid

Age: 19

Birthday: 28 Naja’s Circle

Likes: Grand battles, exercising and his job

Dislikes: Mistreatment on his crew, being told to run away, ghosts

Hair Color and Lenght: Wavy, light brown kept in a ponytail.

Eye Color: Warm brown

Physical Appearance: Very muscular and tall, being a half-giant makes him stand out in any crowd. He is still very young in facial features. Cid now has a scar over his eye.

Weapon Of Choice: Giant Axe

Profession: Boatswain. Boatswain. He is the most physically strong pirate in the crew and often handles the anchors, rigging and deck crew. Connor will often entrust him to be the guard of the ship or the heavy hitter.

On land, he helps his brother at the pub and inn.

Relatives: Vaphicus (Father), Mikael (brother)

History: He grew up on the ship just like Connor. The only difference is that he could never adopt the skills of alchemy, his truest of strengths coming from his muscles. Cid always had undying loyalty towards Connor. His father, Vaph, rode the seas with Master Roland and Connor. Vaph used to demand his sons to follow these two to Chemuk's underwater palace and through Manuk's burning body if they had to. Although Mikael never ventured out the seas at the end, loving the land more. Cid joined Connor's crew everywhere, barely let himself breathe a second to promote Connor as the next captain of the Nightmare Maiden.

Gash

Age: 45

Birthday: 27 Chemuk Song

Likes: Relaxing with tea, messing with Valph

Dislikes: Being alone, being aggressive

Hair Color and Length: Graying spiky brown hair.

Eye Color: Black eyes

Physical appearance: Stocky. His fists are scarred up from fighting so much be in the past. Wrinkling and missing a few teeth, he exudes a calming presence despite being Connor's right hand and Quartermaster.

Weapon of Choice: Armored fist gauntlets, harpoons and pistol.

Profession: Quartermaster and Connor’s right-hand man.

Relative: No family.

History: He lost his family from a plague birthed by an arcane witch. He was always living a criminal life, having his own ruffian gang. He lost it all in a plague and the grief made him highly aggressive. He fought around the shores of Yventlin. Master Roland beat him in a fist fight, and ever since then travelled with the crew. Even becoming softer in nature, the longer he stuck around.

Trevor

Age: 32

Birthday: 13 Anukrin Exile

Likes: Pranks, sleep, superstitions, religion

Dislikes: Mages, being bored

Hair color and length: Ebony Black, to his ears

Eye Color: Just as black as his hair

Physical Appearance: He isn’t as physically in shape as some of the crew, his focus mostly on stealth and sabotage methods.

Weapon of Choice: Swords, daggers and pistol

Profession: Night watch and some ‘unorthodox’ activities. He was an executioner for Alabast Prison of Yventlin.

Relatives: None

History: Only loyal to Connor and Gash, otherwise he listens to no one. Apathetic but takes his job very serious, he might come off a bit uncaring, but it is unintentional. His unfazed and pragmatic front is from the years of working as an Alabast Prison Executioner. Always ready for the job given, even for those that might not happen. Connor will often praise Trevor for his quick thinking while Rhea might just think he is lacking a soul.

Ruffin

Age: 11

Birthday: 21 Anukrin Exile

Likes: Poker, conning people, pirate life, rumors, being useful

Dislikes: secrets kept from him, anyone that dares ask him about his past

Hair color and length: Light brown to blond hair, messy and kept behind a bandana.

Eye Color: Green like the ocean algae

Physical Appearance: Frail looking and tiny in structure, he hasn’t yet hit his growth spurt.

Weapon of Choice: No weapons

Profession: Cabin boy, scout, mole. Connor tends to send him out in town to overhear rumors.

Relatives: Dead sister?

History: He was only seven years old when he met Connor and was later recruited. A lot of his background is kept quiet, only because he begged Connor to keep it to himself. There is a lot he chooses not to revisit, and is happy to pretend that the only time he ever existed was when Connor took him in.

Iggy

Age: 20

Birthday: 05 Gesparg Fall

Likes: Working, cannons, ships, and more ships (All ships)

Dislikes: Being told to stop working, ship-haters, being pranked, being spooked

Hair color and length: Dirty blond hair, kept short and wears a brown head cap.

Eye Color: Brown eyes but it is hard to tell with the foggy goggles he wears all the time.

Physical Appearance: Shorter than most of the men on this ship and very youthful in appearance.

Weapon of Choice: No weapons. Might throw a wrench?

Profession: Ship Repairer

Relatives: Disowned

History: He was recruited when asked to fix Nightmare Maiden about three years ago and successfully done so in record time. Connor is very picky in who he recruits, seeing value in Iggy right away.

Vaphicus “Vaph”

Age: 51

Birthday: 10 Manuk Soulstone

Likes: Cooking, drinking tea and alcohol

Dislikes: Gash messing with him, Saoirse, the Chimera Empire

Hair color and length: Mostly gray, kept beneath a kitchen net hat.

Eye Color: Brown eyes, missing an eye

Physical Appearance: Missing an eye and leg, is on the heavier side with a gut and all. Taller than his son , Cid

Weapon of Choice: The kitchen is his weapon. Run

Profession: Ship Cook

Relatives: Cid and Mikael (sons)

History: He has been part of the crew even before Gash. Captain Roland recruited him when he was on the run from a Saoirse ‘berserking’ that killed all his village. His sons were so young, Mikael only being five years old while Cid was just a baby, and he couldn’t save his wife. That day scarred him more than just the missing leg and arm, hating any mentions of Saoirse kind in general. He had to raise Mikael and Cid all on his own on a pirate ship. Thankfully Captain Roland was more than content to help the single father.

Sabol “the ship surgeon”

Age: 39

Birthday: 30 Hippocampus Rush

Likes: Reading, helping others, drinking tea

Dislikes: Unneeded torture or violence, vanity, competition(tends to avoid Gash and Vaph when they get competitive)

Hair color and length: Long brown hair tied in a low ponytail.

Eye Color: Brown eyes warm with compassion

Physical Appearance: He’s about as tall as Trevor. Missing an ear, a scar stretches from the ear hole to the side of his cheek.

Weapon of Choice: Scalpel?

Profession: Ship Surgeon

Relatives: Karlel (Husband) (They have matching jeweled headband)

History: Sabol was just 19 when he joined Captain Roland’s crew, strapped for cash and he had no support there weren’t a lot of options. At the time, he didn’t know much about the medical field opting to working as one of his hands. He wasn’t keen on violence and struggled in a fight, Captain Roland decided to have him train under another surgeon: Jaoel (deceased). He became a great surgeon. Some say even better than Jaoel, learning a few alchemic ingredients to get by independently. Rumor has it he became one of Captain Roland’s lovers but there is no proof. His undying loyalty towards Captain Roland may have caused a few misunderstandings, and even if Sabol was his lover he will never confirm it out of respect for Captain Roland. Sabol was loyal to the end, even trying fight off the enemy that killed Captain Roland. The battle earned him the scar on his face. Since then, he has worked for Captain Connor. He met Karlel one of their visits to Tristanope, taking him in and marrying him under the Moarin cultural standards. Karlel manages the fish market at the Isles.

Jakobe (Deceased)

Age: 19

Likes: sea animals like the sea pup, betting on cuckoo races, collects cups

Dislikes: hates waiting around, old age, reading

Hair color and length: Brown hair pushed into a bun.

Eye Color: Hazel Eyes

Physical Appearance: Thin even on his face with a naïve and sweet deposition that is incapable of being hidden in the scruffimess.

Weapon of Choice: Two scimitars

Profession: Barrelman

Relatives: Orphan

History: Connor recruited him a year ago when he was just begging for work on the streets. He was shot at the Caem residence trying to protect Rhea.
