Scene – Odela Kingdom, Palace Garden
Under a blooming tree in the palace garden, Kolie, Asely, Yarta, Yumina, Kirito, and Mari are seated together.
Kolie: It's great that both of you passed the exam.
Asely: Yes, and let’s forget everything that happened before.
Yarta: So, shall we begin preparing for the wedding now?
Kirito & Mari (together): Wedding!?!
Yumina: What? Don’t you want to get married?
Kirito: No, it’s not that... It’s just...
Mari: I’m just a little...
Asely: Alright, alright, save your shyness for later. You’re leaving for school in two days, so let’s arrange the wedding quickly.
Kirito: You're absolutely right.
Kirito (thinking): !!
Scene – Wedding Day
The entire Odela Kingdom is beautifully decorated. A grand mandap (wedding stage) is set up, and even spirits from the Spirit Kingdom are attending.
Scene 2 – Evening
The mandap is glowing under the twilight. Kirito walks in first and sits down. After a while, Mari arrives and sits beside him.
Kirito: Um..! Mmm..! Y-you… you look really beautiful.
Mari: !!! Hmm...
They sit together as the ceremony begins. Sacred chants are recited. After some time, the wedding is completed.
Next Day – In Their Room, Packing for School
Kirito: Everything ended so quickly.
Mari: Yeah, I didn’t even realize when it started or ended.
Kirito: The wedding might’ve ended before I could even feel it… but every day from now on, I’ll make it memorable for you. I might not promise perfection—but I’ll always try my best for you.
Mari: Thank you.
Kirito: Ammm…!
Just then, Asely walks into their room.
Asely: If you two are done with your lovey-dovey talk, can I know how far your packing has reached?
Kirito: Mom!?! Since when have you been standing there!?
Asely: Since you were saying, “the wedding ended really fast.”
Kirito: !!!! You should knock before entering someone’s room!
Asely: Oh, so now I need permission to enter my own son’s room?
Mari: Umm… I’m done packing, Mom.
Asely: Good girl! See, Kirito? That’s how responsible kids behave.
Mari: Hmm hmm… Kirito, you’re just talking since the beginning. I won’t help you pack now!
Kirito (thinking): When did she start taking Mom’s side!?
Scene – Palace Main Entrance
Kirito, Mari, Asely, and Kolie are standing together.
Mari: Mom? Dad? Where are they?
Kolie: Oh, they left early this morning. They said they couldn’t bear to say goodbye, so they left without saying anything.
Kirito (thinking): Hmm… They really love Mari a lot. Maybe that’s why.
Mari: Okay, then. Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!
Kirito: Bye-bye, Mom and Dad!
Kolie & Asely: Bye-bye!
Scene – School Hall
All students—new and old—are gathered in the hall.
Principal: My name is Kuma, and I’ll be your principal.
To the new students—welcome! I hope you create great memories here.
To the old students—I hope you help our newcomers feel at home. That’s all!
Kirito: Looks like our principal loves long speeches.
Mari: Like me?
Kirito: Umm… yeah, you could say that.
Scene – Kirito & Mari’s Dorm Room
Kirito: So… we’re in the same room!?
Mari: Mom said we’d be sharing a room.
Kirito: And this is how I find out!?
Mari: Seems like you didn’t want to share a room :(
Kirito: No, no! It’s not like that! I’m happy I’ll get to see you even after class ends!
Mari: Oh really?
Scene – Next Day, in Class
Teacher: Welcome, everyone, to this new year. My name is Ira, and I’ll be your class teacher. I hope we have a great year together!
Students: Yes, teacher!
Ira: Let’s begin class. Today’s topic is Summoning.
Everyone, please move to Ground A. I’ll explain the rest there.
Scene – Ground A
All students gather in the training field.
Ira: There are two types of summoning.
-
Temporary Summon – You summon a being (like a golem) for a short time. Let me demonstrate.
"With my will, I summon you to assist me – Summon!"
A golem rises from the ground.
Ira: As you see, the golem came from the earth. Its type and element depend on the terrain you’re on. Since we’re on grass, it’s a green grass-type golem. You can assign it tasks.
To dismiss it, say:
"Return from where you came. Never come back!"
The golem sinks back into the ground.
Ira: Now for Summon Type 2 – A permanent summon.
This is a bit dangerous because even the summoner doesn't know what will appear. It depends entirely on their inner power.
To use it, say:
"To stay with me always, I summon a friend – Summon Pet!"
Note: I already have a friend, so I won’t summon now. But if you already have a bonded summon, to call them again, say:
"For our friendship, come back!"
A bird appears and lands on Ira’s shoulder.
Ira: Now you all try Summoning Type 2.
Scene – Students Begin Summoning
Some summon rabbits, some butterflies, some tigers...
Mari: "To stay with me always, I summon a friend – Summon Pet!"
An eagle appears beside her.
Mari: Hahaha~ Wow!
Kirito: "To stay with me always, I summon a friend – Summon Pet!"
A silver fog surrounds the area.
Ira: Umm! Huh!? What’s happening!?
From within the silver and black mist, a mysterious being appears near Kirito.
Being: You have summoned me. You are the King of me and my brethren.
The being summons a sword without chanting, but due to the fog, its appearance remains hidden.
Being: This sword is a gift from me to our king.
Kirito: Umm… okay. Thank you?
The being disappears along with the fog.
Ira: What just happened!? Did anyone see what that was!?
Students: No, sir!
Ira (thinking): Hmm… Something definitely happened, but I have no idea what…
