"You did all of this. You killed your own father and mother!"
Kirito:
“!!”
Yama:
"You don't regret any of it? You should regret it! There's still time—go back, apologize, and leave this world forever."
Kirito:
“Huh!? No... no... NO NO NO!!! They killed my Mari! They all have to die!! You leave, NOW!!”
Yama:
“Wha... What is this overwhelming power!? I can’t control it!!”
[Scene changes: Kirito returns to the overworld. He moves forward in rage, but suddenly—]
A voice echoes...
Mari:
“Kirito!”
[Kirito turns around in shock. Mari stands before him.]
Kirito:
“Mari...?!”
Mari (smiling softly):
“You did all this... for me? Do you think that would make me happy?”
Kirito:
“But... they took your life!!”
Mari:
“The ones who took my life are already long gone. The people you're killing now... they're innocent.”
Kirito:
“...!”
Mari:
“If you keep killing people like this... I’ll never talk to you again. Is that what you want? Do you want me to hate you… or do you want to see me happy?”
Kirito:
“No..! I don’t want that!”
Mari:
“Then stop… right here.”
Kirito:
“I... I don’t want to see you sad. I don’t want you to leave me again... T_T”
[Kirito walks toward Mari, embraces her, and starts crying.]
Kirito (weeping):
“What do I do now? What should I do...? What can I even do anymore...?”
Mari:
“Amm hmm… very good. First, go and heal everyone. Apologize to them. Then… leave this world and this body behind. I want you to start over—reincarnate somewhere far away and live a better life.
And if fate allows... we’ll meet again in the next life.”
[With that, Mari vanishes.]
Kirito:

We forgave you, Kirito!! NOOO!!”
[Scene: Kirito collapses. His body turns to dust and fades into the wind.]

[Scene: Kolie approaches Asely and places a hand on her shoulder.]
Kolie (softly):
