Persie wakes up a bit groggy, thinking that his wandering was a dream but also he’s sticky: Huh? Did I have a wet dream? I haven’t had one in a long time ugh. *He gets up and goes to take a shower, getting dressed after and then finding one of the Sisters to tell him about his sheets, although he was embarrassed about it.

Persie comes to Clover, scratching his head: Hey, would it be okay to change my sheets?

Clover: Of course, we will turn the bed over for you. Would you like a new color after we clean?

Persius cocks his head to the side: You can do that? Well, maybe a nice cobalt blue wouldn’t hurt? Thank you Clover. Are they all at breakfast yet?

Clover: The Prince and Princess are having breakfast right now.

Persius: Ahhh *says under his breath* she must be working then..*nods to Clover* Okay, thank you. I’ll see myself to the dining hall. *goes to the dining hall and sits down with Ra and Addy, getting some breakfast also* Mornin’ you two!

Adrian: Morning Persie! Did you sleep okay?

Persie: I did, I'm still a little meh from the sleep charm but not too bad. How are you two?

Ra: The movie we watched was great! It’s one of my faves.

Adrian: Hehe you fell asleep halfway through. Garnet had to carry you to bed.

Ra: Well…I got sleepy, snacks and a nice movie always make me sleepy. It was nice still waking up with you though. 

Persie watches them as they interact and smiles, he loves seeing them talk, it’s quite cute. Oh I guess I could give them their lesson today, it shouldn’t take too long and then go chill with Ajii.

Persie: Would you like that shrinking lesson today?

Ra: Yea! I think it’ll help a lot.

Adrian: Oh that would be great! Also I almost forgot, if you still feel bleh because of the sleep charm, Ra can use her bright sunny powers and make you feel better.

Ra: Yeah! *she runs around the table and stands in front of Persie* Ahem! I got you. *she rubs her hands together and a big light healing spell blast into his face and even though it’s bright, it does help*

Persie’s face blasts back like a gust of wind and heat hitting it, but he does begin to feel that healing warmth: Woah!!! That was so intensely bright but mmmm I do feel so much better. Not as clouded in the head! Thank you Ra. So you have healing powers? That’s great, it’s needed honestly.

Ra squeals: R-Really? 

Persie nods his head: Yeah! It’ll definitely be needed in the future I'm sure. *he pats her on the back and starts eating more of his food so he can give the eager children their lesson* After we eat, we can go out to the garden veranda to start the lesson.

Adrian: -he hops down and goes over to Ra- Okay that sounds good. -he holds Ra’s hand- Hehe I told you, you’re powerful~.

Ra blushes lightly: Shush…*she holds his hand back* You are great too Addy..

Persie watches them smiling and then goes back to finish his food, then stands up: Alright, ready?

Adrian: -he pulls Ra closer- Ready!

Persie: Alright then let’s go!

Persie and the two children go outside to the gardens to do their little lesson. It should be a quick one if all goes well.

Persie: *he steadies his hands and breathes* Alright before we get started, let’s do a deep breathing exercise so we can still our breath and mana flow, alright? *he makes sure his feet are spread apart evenly matching his shoulders and he puts his arms out, going up slowly while inhaling and putting his arms down, exhaling* Just like that, you ready?

Ra: *does the same stance next to Adrian* Ready!

Adrian: -he does the same and takes a few extra seconds to concentrate- Okay..Ready!

Persie starts instructing them carefully on the breathing exercise, it’s just a few steps so they get it and he feels their mana flow is much steadier now.

Persie then moves on to the next part of the lesson: Alright, so now we are learning how to shrink and this is inanimate objects, do not try this on living beings, wait until high school for that heh. *he pulls out the sticker book and enlarges it with his mana* Alright so watch me, think of making it smaller but don’t force it, just put it between both hands and slowly close your hands to the size you want it to be. *he closes his hands to the size of his pocket and shows it to them* Like this. We will try on this star fruit here, *makes a double fruit and tosses it to both of them by their feet* Alright, now you both try slowly.

Ra picks up the fruit and puts it between her hands but it starts heating up a bit and bursts, exploding: Ah!!!! *it goes everywhere and on her clothes and she frowns and looks really sad*

Persie comes over quickly: It’s alright it’s alright, it’s a first try! *makes another fruit* Remember, don’t concentrate, I noticed you deal more with light magic and that can use heat if concentrated too heavily. Think about your hands closing to a size versus pushing out your energy okay?

Adrian: -comes over to her and uses his shirt to clean her face- It’s okay! You got this.

Ra looks up at him with slight tears but wipes them and seems more determined and focused this time. 

Ra takes the fruit: Okay, I wanna try again. *she takes it again and she feels it slowly moving inward, shrinking* I-I think i’m doing it!! Ah! I’m doing it!

Persie watches enthusiastically: Great job!! Now go to the size you want to. Adrian, don’t neglect your own practice as well. She’s got this. *he smiles at her*

Ra smiles and makes it pretty small, like the size of her palm: So tiny! Tiny star fruit. *then she eats it* Still tastes great though!

Persie claps: Excellent. Now you, Adrian! Show me.

Adrian: Okay okay I can do this..! -he picks up the fruit and tries to focus on making it smaller. He concentrates a little too hard and shadows come out of his hands and wrap around the fruit and squishes it- Aaah! -he looks up at Persie and the sclera of his eyes have turned black and the green of his eyes are glowing softly- S-sorry! I dunno why that happened…I’ve never done that before…

Persie looks at him for a bit, analyzing the black and green glow: It’s alright Adrian, your shadows seem to have come out and squished it. But do you communicate with your shadows? Tell them what they can and can’t do?

Adrian: Um sometimes…I’ve been learning how to pick stuff up with them…sometimes my mana goes out of control and they don’t listen…That’s why I’ve been falling through stuff. Mother says when I can control it I'll be able to teleport I guess or at least just move through them.

Persie takes his hand out and his eyes flash a brilliant deep blue, like crystal cobalt and Adrian’s shadows are more tame: Now…try again. I didn’t command them but I did suggest they listen more to you.

Ra: Wow…what kind of powers do you have, Persie?

Persie, giggles a bit: Too many to go into but I’ll show you both over time.

Ra: Kay! *Ra waits patiently for Addy to do his turn*

Adrian: -he takes a deep breath- Okay.. -he picks up another fruit and concentrates again. This time his shadows gently wrap around the fruit and slowly make it smaller- It’s working! -he shrinks it down to the size of his palm and his eyes go back to normal-  I did it! I did it!

Persie claps and smiles: Well done Adrian! Well done to you both. Do you want to keep practicing?

Adrian: Yeah! Thanks for teaching us! I can use this to help me with my mana bursts too..thanks a bunch.

Persie: Of course! Now we can do another day when we enlarge..heh we can try enlarging a bowl of ice cream *he smiles mischievously* if you both would be interested?

Ra: *eyes get wide* A big bowl of ice cream ahhh! I would love to. Yes yes yes!

Adrian: -his eyes sparkle with excitement- Yes! It’s a deal, Persie! You’re the absolute best!

Persie: Awwwww you both are so kind! And you both are very very talented, keep it up, now you know how to do it! I would practice on small things like books and such, nothing too big right now like furniture yet, okay?

Ra: Okay, can do! I usually don’t have to worry about books too much, they just float behind me hehe. But I’m glad Addy has something because I know our next school will have moreeee books!

Persie: Yeah you both will be going to middle school soon right? *he’s paying attention to them but he’s been feeling a presence watching him and he was going to go see what or who but after he talks to them*

Adrian: -he walks over to a tree to get more fruit- Yeah, I’m excited. I get to start on my astrology pro- -he falls right through the tree’s shadow on the ground and reappears upside down stuck in the tree- Oh my gods I hate this!!!

Persie tries not to laugh but comes over to help Adrian down: Whoops it’s okay, you did use some mana so I understand why you had a mana burst. 

Ra, runs over: Addy! Are you okay? *starts holding his hand and checking on him*

Adrian: -he sighs- I’m okay…Just can’t wait to get this under control. It’s so embarrassing. I’m having mana bursts like I’m a toddler all over again.

Ra: Addy…it’s alright.

Persie, kneels down: Hey…I had mana burst until I was 13 years old, I had almost no control over my abilities, it was garbage! But I took extra time from tutors and teachers to hone it in. It takes time but you are a growing boy. You got some strength on you, but it just has to be mastered and mastery takes time. Okay?

Ra: *kisses Adrian’s forehead* Yeah…it’s just that we are changing and change comes with its problems and solutions. *holds his hand* But I'm here with you…always.

Adrian: -he blushes and smiles softly up at her- Yeah..you’re right.. -he kisses her hand- Thanks..

Ra, blushes and Persius just watches them, smiling quietly to himself.

Persius: So…you both can either practice more or go play! I’ll be seeing myself out and I won’t be home til later, going to chill with a friend. *he bows to both of them and then leaves to try and find Aiah, who he assumes is on the throne*

Aiah: -she’s in her throne room looking through paperwork floating around her and handing off some things to her golems-

Persius: Ummm, goddess? *comes in and goes up to the stairs of the throne* How are you today?

Aiah: -she looks down at him and smiles- I am well, how are you dear? Did you enjoy your time with the children?

Persius: *he smirks up at her* Were you the one that was looking at me? I felt as if I was watched earlier…but to answer your questions, I am good and I did. They are quite intelligent and very bright. Very sweet with one another as well.

Aiah: -she smirks down at him- Heh your senses are intriguing…The children are very sweet to each other, our dear Princess was introduced to Adrian because her patron wished for her to have a companion.

Persius: Her patron? Was she created too?

Aiah: No no, she was born. She does not know the origins of her true patron so for now let us keep that between us…hehe her caretaker’s introduced her to my little shadow when they were three. To her, those are her parents.

Persius: Hmmm. *he looks down at his hands* Where are they now? She seems to be here most of the time? So are they just really busy?

Aiah: They are nature photographers and advocates for endangered species. They travel often so she stays here. They’ve been together so long that as a gift I allowed her to help me make her a golem. Now Adrian and Ra are so close that even my first son sees her as his sister.

Persius: I see…they are pretty close honestly. Wouldn’t even surprise me if they ended up more romantic but I do like their closeness…reminds me of my best friend..which is why I came to see you today actually..

Aiah: Oh? Are you going out again?

Persius: Yes. I wanted to go hang out with my best friend again. *looks at her and smiles* Will you miss me? *he’s just joking with her*

Aiah: Of course I will..I enjoy your company. But please, go have fun.
