Persie to Ajii: Yooooo! Heading over! See you in a bit. *he gets a zoomer and hops in, heading over to his old place*

Persie runs up to the dorm and knocks in that rhythmic beat: Yoo yooo bitch boyyyy!

Aiji: -he opens the door laughing- You’re such an ass. Get in here dork. Did you bring the drinks?

Persius mage-hands the drink outside of his pocket and enlarges them: Here we are. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic! Ready to partay!! *he comes inside*

Aiji: -he smiles and takes him into the living room where the couch is all set up with pillows, blankets, snacks on the table, and two game controllers waiting for them- A whole gamer afternoon as promised.

Persius: Ah! You spoil me. *hugging his friend while he’s still holding the drinks, he sits the drinks on the coffee table nearby and parks on the floor* Well…let’s get to it bud!

Aiji: -he plops down next to him and tosses him a controller- So, what’s up? What happened at your first big meeting?

Persius: Mannnnnnnnnn it was a lot but let’s start off with the fact that they didn’t want to recognize the goddess’ golem as Jasmine, side note; I’m naming them, and the receptionist just wasn’t getting it. These golems are old as fuck!! And then the prime minister is…weird…*he takes the controller and waits for the game to boot up, Untitled Moose Game*

Aiji: Yeah you’ve been in Baehalan for so long…you don’t know that mages here are…really odd. What did she do? -he starts playing and tearing things up- Also..hehehe the Goddess is letting you name the Sisters of the temple?

Persius: It’s just easier to remember, also they really do have personalities and are very sentient. They are people to me so they get names and…to be honest, she asked “what kind of mage I was?” and then it’s like I had so many people looking at me. It was wild honestly. And then I really tried to get them to look at Aralan and Sifinica because it wasn’t on the budgets which is fuckin’ ridiculous. *his goose is being a menace and keeps terrorizing a food stall* Hahah Moose can be menacing anywhere. They’re bigger than their homes!

Aiji: Yeah that question is a trap…Be careful or they’ll start sending ‘tea invitations’ which is just a fancy way to say marriage interview. And I really really wish they would pay attention to Aralan…Man they are struggling so bad and we have students that stay over there.

Persius shrugs: I’ve never been over there. Maybe we should take a walk over there if possible. It’s not super far, right? Or should we take a zoomer and then walk? *keeps playing* yeah…I hope I don’t have any but all the invites would go to the Ivory Temple..

Aiji: -he smirks- Yeah then your darling Goddess will see you getting all those marriage invites~. Who knows what might happen then~.

Persius punches him playfully: Shut the fuck up yo! She’s not like that. She’s mad busy and she’s literally reigning over a continent. Shit ain’t happening. But..then…in the meeting, I started to get really tired, like the energy just zapped out of me. It was so wild.

Aiji: …Council members and parliament are so cheap they used sleeping charms? That’s fucking disgusting. -he helps him trap a farmer out of his garden- Look if you wanna know what you’re fighting for then let’s take a ride and I’ll show you around Aralan.

Persius: I’m down. I need to know because all I know is that they haven’t done any budgeting for Aralan in literal months and apparently Aralan and Sifinica are damn near begging for help. So if we can help, then I need to know exactly what’s going on. *he pulls out his shrunken journal that also can record photos from his phone* Hmmmm I think you’re right. I can record some logs and take them to the next meeting and also tell the goddess more details about it. 

Aiji: -he pauses the game- Cool, I’ll call a zoomer and then we’ll have to walk around so people won’t like..side eye us.

Persius starts putting on his shoes after he puts the controller down, grabbing a bottle of water to take with him and tossing Ajii a bottle too. They are just walking around but Persius knows already that it won’t be a pretty sight but he’s hoping to get some good insight and bring it up as a point of contingency.

Aiji: -he leaves his phone next to Persie and goes to get his shoes. As he’s walking away his phone starts buzzing- Damn is that the zoomer already? Perse check it for me?

Persie looks at the phone and there is a full on dick pic on the screen: Wooooooah! Ayo, who's daddy? *persie opens it up and starts reading* Wait is this the dude that fucked me the other night?? Ahahahahahah so things worked out huh? *wiggles eyebrows*

Aiji: -he runs back into the room blushing deeply and tries to snatch his phone away- Oh my Gods you are nosy as fuck! Get out of my damn messages!

Persie jumps up and starts keeping the phone from Ajii, running around the room: Come onnnnn tell me what’s going on! *trips and the phone goes flying on the couch* Ah!

The phone lands safely and Ajii snatches it quickly and looks to respond to the message quickly before tucking it back in his pocket.

Aiji: Nosy…Nothing happened..Come on let’s get downstairs… -he tries to hide his face and head to the door-

Persie and Ajii leave downstairs but Persie can’t let it slide: Nah man, you got a little crushy crush? Huhhhh? You like himmmmmmm??? Hehe he was cute I’m just not looking for anything serious so please enjoy, plus…you ain’t married yet and it’s arranged. So have some fun! But, be honest, how’d it happen?

They both are now waiting outside for the zoomer.

Aiji: -he groans and rubs his face- It just did…you left..I fed them all and most of them left…he wanted to wait a little while longer aaaand…we just talked…that’s all.

Persie grinned and side-eyed him: You just…talked? That’s it..nothing else? Sureeeee.

Aiji: Mhm nothing happened…just like nothing is happening with the Goddess towards you.

Persie: Dude…I'm being serious. If anything was genuinely going on, I would tell you, but nothing to my knowledge is happening. Like I said, nothing to my knowledge, it could be something happening but I literally wouldn’t know.

The zoomer pulls up and they hop in and ask to be dropped more in the center of Aralan and the zoomer heads off.

Aiji: Fine fine fine…I just…Aeson is kinda nice. I’ll let go of the Goddess thing for now..just don’t let anyone know about Aeson okay? My parents would murder me if they found out.

Persie: Of course man, I would never! Also, you are like the only one I talk to, everyone I met in Baehalan was nice and I made some memories but you are my best friend! *he pats him on the back* Plus I remember how your parents are…you still don’t talk to them as much?

Aiji: I show up enough to keep them happy…seems to work for all of us.

Persie: Hmm okay? As long as you are good. But yeah, Aeson is or seemed nice that night. So whatever happens, I hope you have some fun and enjoy yourself. But yeah I can’t wait to see what’s up with Aralan.

The Driver speaks up, not looking in their direction: I’m surprised you two want to go to Aralan from Mythic Academy. It’s not the best I've seen, at least in some parts.

Persie: I haven’t seen it in a while, so I want to just take a walk around.

The driver looks between Ajii and Persie but keeps his gaze on Persie a while longer: Well, I would avoid going north east, it gets a little dodgy in that area and try to leave by night as well. They tend to hunt pretty people…

Persie: I’m sorry? You said hunt? *He looks at Ajii from the side, his eyes moving but his head staying still.*

The driver is silent and Persie and Ajii with a locked look of shock and slight worry. A wave of anxiety runs through the car as only the slight hiss of the radio sounds off.
