There has been one subject that has consistently blown my mind. It's giving me insight of a world im a complete stranger to.  

I'm talking about Monster Studies. Ever since I started going to the Academy, so about 3 months now, this subject has taught me such significant things about the world we live in, about the Monsters which hide and stalk their prey in the darkest of nights, or terrorize it's victims on the brigthtest of days.

Despite their clear danger they still fascinate me, I mean of course they do. Their essentially Magic at it's extrem, and I love magic. Apparently the influence of Magic on them is so high that their DNA and their entire nature changed from... Now here's the crazy part.

All Monsters or their offspring were originally... all sorts of living beings, that means Humans aswell. I'm not sure yet how their transformation come to be again and as a matter of fact I believe their transformation varies aswell. Afterall their are varies types of Monsters with various Abilities.

Enough of that though theirs a different matter that's been bothering me. I have made yet another discovery, a very important one. You see, theirs alot to magic. From Spells, to Rituals, to Summons, Curses, even Crafting. 

I've been learning about all sorts of this crap, but today... yes today in class, we learned something- no I learned something that I've never read anywhere before. 

It's about Unique Abilities, something everyone apparently already knew of. This Unique Ability, only few magic users posses are often very powerful or useful, in any caset their usually a big plus. If you have one of your own, it'd be probably guarenteed that you'll be a well known magic user, protector of our country or whatever else you could be.

I don't think I have one- no I know I don't. This unqiue ability is the type of thing that should already be evident. Couldn't I atleast have this Unique Ability? Life is so frustuating. Whatever I guess it doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things.

But still... I just feel even worse now, just how long will I be sliding down this slope until it curves upwards?

Maybe soon, I really do hope so atleast.
