The next day Sam didn't show up for school, so only the three and William were there "Hey guys so again, this is William wait where's Sam?" said Oliver "Maybe he's just sick" said Madison "Yeah probably, anyways meet William" "Hello" said William "Hey William, I'm Aiden" "And I'm Madison" "So who's this Sam you guys keep talking about?" asked William "Oh, he's just another member of this group" said Aiden "Maybe we should talk about this when Sam is here so the whole group agrees?" said Madison "Me and William could just go to his house later, if that's ok with you William" said Aiden "That's fine with me" said William "I guess that could work so-" "Excuse me?" said a random girl their age "Um, do you guys know someone named Sam?". Back at Sam's house he was just sitting there doing nothing. Then he got a call from his mom "She's probably just really drunk" he thought. He answered it "Hey mom" said Sam "Sam your grandma is in the hospital, can you get here on your bike?" "Mom, Grandma is dead and she has been for two years, please stop calling me about her" then he hung up. Sam sat there trying not to remember that day when his grandma passed away. The ambulance, the crying, the drinking. He tried to block it out but he couldn't.
