Alister held his hands up as Apollo and Esdeath kept their weapons trained on him. “So, who gave me up? Down here people tend to lose their lives for not minding their own business!” Alister said as he scanned the room looking for potential ways to escape. Apollo smirked, shooting an arrow at Alister's feet causing him to back up into the computer monitor. “There's a shop keeper that seems to be chummy with you, and we found the note you left in the tv for your friends to find you. Maybe you put your trust in the wrong people, Azazel.” Esdeath said, her voice changed to sound like a man's.
Apollo paused, lowering his bow as he looked at his partner confused, asking, “Why is your voice different? I thought you were a woman?” Esdeath didn't take her eyes off Alister, ignoring the question from Apollo. Apollo threw his hands up in frustration as a small stream of smoke began to fill the room. “You know, she doesn't sound like a very good partner if she's changing plans like this on you.” Alister said as he noticed the smoke filling the room. “Exactly! Finally someone gets how hard it is to work with you Ice Queen!” Apollo said as a thick screen of smoke filled the room.
“What took you so long to get here Emerald?!” Alister said, putting on his mask. Some of the smoke gathered and a tiny version of Emerald stood before Alister, a very angry expression on her face as she said “Listen you, I told you this whole situation was dangerous but did you listen no! Now hurry up and get out of here before they break through!” Alister nodded and slammed through a nearby door knocking it down. On the other side of the wall of smoke Apollo and Esdeath heard the crash, the two running towards the open door. The smoke rushed to block their path, but Apollo made it out, leaving Esdeath trapped inside. “Don't worry I got him!” Apollo shouted as his voice faded away.
Esdeath backed away from the smoke pulling out a pole off her belt. Hitting a button the pole grew ice on the top turning into a hand axe. “I know you're here, might as well drop the smoke and talk in person.” Esdeath said turning in circles. The smoke converged on a single location and Emerald stood there, her staff in hand. “Talk in person! How about you tell me where you got Ymir from?! Alister made these weapons for us only and last I checked,” the staff shifted into two short swords, “your not one of us!” Esdeath readied herself but then looked back at the wall of smoke blocking the door. A figure walked through, electricity crackling through her gloves as Tesla walked through the wall of smoke. “Two on one doesn't seem very fair does it,” Esdeath commented but Emerald and Tesla weren't having it.
