Kari’s P.O.V.
Two Nights Later, September 10th
I looked through my planet book and retraced my thoughts. This red and black planet looks about right. Planet 300 is said to be a place to buy and sell ships of all kinds. They are more of an industrial city, yet the people are said to be to themselves. There are not many residents there, but there are multiple restaurants and hotels. I sank into my seat. I feel depleted. I could stay in Planet 300 for the night, but I want to fly a little more after buying a new ship. I will feel safe after getting to Planet 327. Okay, so sell the ship, buy a new one, eat, and fly to Planet 327 to rest.

New Day Health Group
I lifted the woman and set her on my desk before pressing my lips against hers. My hands traveled to the buttons on her top and started to unbutton them. The new and beautiful nurse, Seren. Her feelings for me were obvious, and after talking for some time alone today, things heated up between us.
I stopped as I heard a knock on my office door. I looked at the door. “Yes?”
“Doctor Pareja, the patient in room 237 has gotten well after her surgery. She will not need the second surgery.”
My nurse said. I smirked as I felt Seren’s lips start to kiss my neck. “That's good to know." Seren's hand slid down my chest. " Ryan, I will be working on some things in my office for a bit.”
“Okay”
An Hour Later
I walked out of the doctor’s office, contemplating my plans for the night. As normal as it would have been to go home, I hated being there. Everything felt silent and dull. And going through that every night made me nearly go insane.
I looked at my phone. I have invitations from many people, but after the events from before, I may need to do something new. I shook my head. At this point, looking for something new sounds draining in itself. I closed the screen of my phone and put it in my pocket. I should stop all of this together. That is what my gut is telling me.
“Excuse me?”
I looked to the right of me to see a shorter woman with deep umber skin, hair long enough to nearly beat Rapunzel, eyes the color of the hydrangeas, dressed in a nightgown from what looked like decades old. My heart began to race. What's wrong with me? Why am I acting like this for a woman I do not know?
"Sir?" She questioned. That's right, I am staring at her like a fool.
Weird
“Are there any open shops that sell ships?” She asked.
“Ships as in spaceships?” I asked. She nodded.
This woman is hard to read.
“I tried a few, but they seemed to be closed.”
It is almost like she has a mask covering her real emotions.
“That is because most shops that sell ships close after five.”
Like a pond in the desert, her beauty stopped me. Why is it that the moment I started to think about my actions and quit spending nights with people, this random woman appeared before me? I got out of my thoughts as I heard her whisper to herself.
"I can't stay another night here."
"The hotels are not that bad here-" I started, but stopped as she shook her head.
"I really can't stay." Seeing that expression on her face, I could tell she was running from something or someone.
“Are you running from something?” Her eyes widened. So she can react. I would have never guessed. “I suggest you change into something less obvious. Running around in an old-style nightgown is not something that will help you.” Her eyes became dejected. She seems to have made a plan without thinking of the cracks she had in it. It must have been rushed. She looked at the surrounding stores with conflict.
“I- But- Shit,” She cursed in frustration. She opened her bag and looked inside.
"Alonso!" My eyes widened as I heard the voice. I looked to the side to see my coworker, Ryan.
"Listen, there is a shop that opens at five am. That one is the earliest called Claire's-"
"Are you sure that is the earliest?" I nodded. The look of defeat came to her face.
"Alosno! I know you can hear me!" The blue-haired woman looked in the direction of the voice.
"Is she-" My eyes widened as I saw the red-haired woman coming toward us.
"I apologize, but I have to go," I started to walk away, but stopped as the woman grabbed my hand.
"Hey, I really need your help."
"Okay, if you help me with this woman, I will take you to someone who can help you," I said, pointing my eyes in Ryan's direction. The blue-haired woman looked in that direction from the corner of her eye. She nodded.
"What do you need me to do?"
"Play along." Ryan walked closer to us.
"You're right. I am sorry for my actions. I just feel nervous. I haven't met my partner's parents in a long time." I said.
"I get it. How about we make things short with them and then go somewhere like the park or something?" I bit my tongue to stop myself from laughing. There was no way that was her response.
"You want to go to the park so late at night?" I shook my head before I burst out in laughter. "This is why I like you." Her cheeks reddened before she looked away from me.
"Don't say that so easily." She said lowly.
"I really mean it," I said before taking her hands.
"Alonso," The two of us looked to the right to see my coworker. She smiled.
"When did you get a girlfriend?"
"Recently," I said. She let out a sigh of relief.
"Great, now I do not have to worry about you dying alone. Miss, do you know how lonely this man has been since Cla-" I arched a brow, making her stop. She chuckled.
"I apologize," I sighed. This is why I hardly speak to anyone at work unless I need to.
