Everyone clapped, except my family. Alpha Kenneth was acting as if my father had requested instead of being forced.
"You ok?"
I flinched, looking to the side of me as Mitch drew me closer with a questioning expression. I slightly nodded my head, feeling my cheeks redden.
"After the pack run, the beta challenge will begin. This challenge will be to the death if they choose not to submit. We expect all candidates to be fearless, smart, strategic, and willing to put their life on the line. If you do not have the combat skills to challenge this vet, do not risk getting yourself killed."
Tsk. Travis folded his arms at the bullshit being spewed.
"The moon will be out in 10 minutes. Everyone is welcome to begin shifting so we can start," Alpha kenneth said, before turning to conversate with my father and the elders.
"Uncle Hinata, can I run with you?" Tristan asked jovially.
I smiled, running my hand through his extremely soft trenches. "Sure, why don't we go find somewhere to shift?"
He grinned nodding enthusiastically, as he grabbed my hand to pull me away.
Mitch kept his arm wrapped around me as we walked to the surroudning trees to find somewhere to shift, unconciously making me nervous and excited.
"Where are you going?" Damien growled, stepping in front of us with Rebecca behind him.
Mitch cocked his eyebrow. "To shift. Hinata isn't comfortable stripping naked in front of everyone."
Damien glared at me, fist clenching at his side. Tsk.
"Move it asswipe, we don't have time for your homophobic cockfight," Travis said, pushing him out of the way as him and Mary walked away.
Damien growled ready to attack, but Mitch gripped his shoulder, squeezing it with a silent command to stand down.
Damien gritted his teeth, swatting his hand off of him. He looked at Hinata, for some reason wanting to be the one to run with the Omega that night.
Mitch saw the glint of interest in the Omega and immediately stepped in front of him, eyes narrowing in challenge. "He's mine. Father already told me I'll be the one watching him tonight."
Damien went on the defense. "What the fuck are you talking about? Just make sure he doesn't do something stupid. He has a knack for doing really stupid stuff before thinking."

"Thanks for your concern," Mitch replied dryly, bumping shoulders as they walked pass him to the trees to shift.
Tristian walked past, sticking his tongue out at Damien as he held his uncle's hand.
Damien looked at the little bastard in disbelief. "Hey, let's go change. We don't have much time," Rebecca said looping her arm through his.
Hinata went behind a tree with Tristian, Mary, his brother, and Mitch to shift.
"Look at me uncle Hinata!" Tristian said excitedly.
He closed his eyes with a concentrated face, before shifting into his wolf instantly. Hinata was surprised. He had never seen someone do it so fast.
Tristians was a red wolf with a black covered snout and ears. His fur was extremely fluffly, but his yellow irises glowed with intelligence as he sat, wagging his tail slightly. He honestly looked like a small puppy.
I crouched to run my fingers down his fur, causing him to lean into my touch as he yelped softly, licking the side of my face. Stepping back, I shifted into my wolf a lot more slowly. Tristian immediately rubbed his body against my side, scenting me. I licked the top of his head, turning to see my brother and Mary's wolf approach us.
Trace's wolf was similar to Tristians, but he had white fur around his muzzle and ears, his wolf eyes glowing an intense silver. Mary stood beside him, her wolf a lot larger than my brothers. She was a majestic looking grey wolf with amber eyes. Tristian immediately ran over, rubbing his body against his parents, as they both licked the top of his head.
I smelled him before I saw him. If you closed your eyes you wouldn't have been able to see him. Hunter green eyes stared at me, as a large black wolf approached me from behind.
Trace growled softly, stepping between me and Mitch. He nudged my side, egging me to return to the center of the field. Wolves came out in groves, new pups running around happily, as this was the first shift for some of them.
Flair stretched her paws as she softly wagged her tail; which Tristian started playing with as he swatted at it.
Alpha Kenneth let out a howl, starting the run.
Every wolf immediately shot forward running. I started out slowly with everyone in my group keeping pace. However, after an hour Flair felt the call of the wild and the need to run. Hunt. Kill.
Flair hunted a rabbit, her hunting skills impressing Mitch as he watched the omega closely.
Flair sprung into the air, landing on top of the rabbit with fangs beared immediately snapping its neck. The taste of blood entered her mouth, exciting her. She heard the fast approach of paws, and turned to see a ball of red fur come flying at her.
She immediately stood up, as Tristian happily trotted around her yipping in excitement. He turned at the metallic scent, that seemed to interest his wolf. He slowly approached, licking the fur of the rabbit softly before taking a bite of the meat.
Flair felt grumpy about having to share, but the omega in her let the pup get a taste as she sat down listening to the approach of the others.
Mitch was the first to approach, looking curiously at what the pup was eating. He turned to look at the white wolf whose muzzle was covered in blood, mesmerized at the fierceness in its eyes as it blocked the view of Tristian and her food from him. Mary and Trace approached, each sitting as they watched their pup eat his first raw meat as a wolf.
Flair turned around again after Tristian seemed full, hurriedly eating the rest of his prey. '
The howl of the alpha commanding their return caused for them to turn as they realized that two hours had already passed. They all quickly ran back to the opening, approaching the trees where their clothes were located.
Everyone turned at the fast pace of the white pawed wolf who instantly tackled the surprised white omega. Flair yelped in surprise, as the black wolf landed on top of her, biting the scruff of her neck, mounting her. The release of the dominant phermoes surrounding her, caused for her to immediately submit.
Damien layed his body on top of her, the need to mate calling to his wolf. He licked the face of the omega, adjusting his wolves body to try and enter.
Mitch, surprised beyond belief of his brothers actions, immediately tackled him off the omega. Rebecca's cream and black wolf also nipped at him, completely infuriated at his actions. Damien rolled with the momentum, before biting his brothers scruff and threw him off him.
He stood up, immediately standing in front of the white wolf again, growling at the approach of other wolves in the vicinity. 'Mine!' Rocky, Damien's wolf, growled.
Mitch's eyes widened in surprise. While no one else could here him, his wolf could hear what his brother was saying. He was openly trying to claim Hinata as if this was a mating challenge. Mitch was confused, as his brother wasn't gay. Neither was Hinata in heat, and hadn't been releasing any phermones before he attacked.
The strong vanilla scent began to permeate the field, causing for every unmated alpha on the field to take notice; the smell of desire filling the air.
Damien howled in dominance, causing for some to bow in submission, while others stood willing to challenge him.
"Damien!" Kenneth snapped.
Damien turned with his fangs beared at his father. His wolf snarled loudly fur standing on end trying to appear larger, as he blocked the omega from everyone's view.
"Shift! NOW!"
Damien body, against his will, immediately started shifting as he grunted from the sharp pain before he stood holding his head with a confused expression. "What happened? What's going on?"
SLAP. Rebecca slapped him, tears streaming down her face in embarassment as she turned running away behind the trees.
"What the fuck was that for? HEY! Where are you going?" Damien went to run after her, but the his fathers hand landing on his shoulder stopped him.
Kenneth gritted his teeth. If this was what he thought it was, they were in a delimma. He turned to see the white wolf with its tail tucked in fear, before Alaric and Jin ran over to block the other wolves approaching their son. His birthday was a few months away, but it appeared Damiens wolf may have sensed something. That was the only reasoning he could think of Damien's wolf would react that way.
"What the fuck was that?" Mitch barked, throwing a hard punch at his brothers face. "Did you even hear what the fuck you said to me?"
Damiens head snapped to the side, as he clenched his fist and returned the punch in kind. "What are you even talking about? I didn't say anything to you!"
Mitch went to tackle his brother, but a few wolves who had already shifted gripped his shoulders, holding him back.
"Stop! Damien, go and put your clothes back on. You will stay with me for the rest of the night. Me and you need to talk. I'm disappointed in your behavior."
Damien turned in disbelief, honestly confused. "Seriously! What the fuck happened? I remember running back, and after that Rocky completely took over. I couldn't control him... Dad that's never happened to me before! You have to believe me!"
"Enough!" Kenneth growled, wanting his son to shut up. If he wasn't sure before, he was sure now. "Do as I say."
Damien gritted his teeth, rapidly ready to fire off before the scent of vanilla reached his nose. His blue wolf eyes flashed, as he turned to see the white wolf tucked behind his parents. The compulsion for him to be near him consumed him, as he took a few steps in his direction before Kenneth cursed and physically picked his son up. He turned, slapping his palm over his nostril to block out the scent.
"Get him somewhere safe. The warriors will stop any wolves from following. Try and have him control himself before coming back out here. I will give you 30 minutes, and then Alaric... we will begin the challenge."
Alaric bowed his head in understanding, turning to pick his son's wolf up. Marie and Tracy approached as Kenneth walked away with his struggling son.
Jin stood shocked, afraid to say out loud what he assumed had just happened.
"Alaric... is that what-"
"No!" he barked, also afraid to believe it. "Not in front of everyone. Let's go get him changed."
They turned, walking to the tree's so their son could go change.
Mitch kept pace behind them, extremely pissed at his brother. He didn't know what just happened, but he had called dibs on the omega the minute he caught his attention. He didn't know what the fuck that was with his brother, but he would hash that out with him later.
Jin crooned softly to his son, as Hinata slowly shifted back, groaning in pain. Alaric handed him his clothes, and he quickly got dressed.
Silence.
"Well that was a cluster fuck," Travis said dryly, as he approached with Mary. Tristian remained at his uncle's side in his wolf form.
"Hurry and shift baby," he said, crouching to pet the fluffy pup. Tristian growled softly, but did as he was told as his parents helped him get dressed.
"Are you ok Hinata?" Jin asked stroking his face.
"Yeah, why?" Hinata asked confused.
Alaric and Jin looked at each other with a concerned expression, before giving their son a hard smile.
"Nothing. Your phermones are strong right now. Try and control them. Me and your father are gonna get dressed and your father has to get ready for his fight. Marie and Travis keep your brother safe."
"It's ok Mr. Chan. I'll keep him safe," Mitch said as he approached them fully dressed with his hands tucked into his pants pocket.
Alaric and Jin looked at him skeptically, but nodded in respect before turning to leave.
Are you really ok Hinata? What happened?" Trace asked.
Hinata cocked his head in confusion. "I don't know what you mean. Did something happen?"
Everyone looked at him concerned, but let it go.
"No it's nothing. The challenge is about to start, so let's find a good spot to stand," Trace said, as Mary scooped her son in her arms.
Mitched walked over over, wrapping his arms around the omega. "Hey I'm sorry about what happened out there. I've never seen my brother act like that. If I had known he was gonna jump you, I would've stopped him."
Hinata waved his hand in front of his face, dismissing the apology. "Really it's ok. I'm not even sure what happened.
Mitch stared at him apologetically, before his face melted in a lascivious expression. He leaned in, causing for Hinata to nervously tuck his chin in. "I didn't want to say anything while your family was here..." he drifted his arm slowly down the side of the omega, intimately tracing the side of his stomach where his shift exposed his stomach. "... but you have incredibly soft pale skin. I tried to rush to make sure you were okay and accidentally got a glimpse. I don't know if anyone has ever told you this.. but your extremely sexy."
Hinata's eyes widened in disbelief, as his cheek redenned. "T-t-thank you?" he asked, confused and embarassed with how to answer that statement.
"You really are my type, but your extremely innocent. I'm interested in getting to know you though. I know you can't go anywhere outside of the pack, but why don't me and you go down to the waterfull tomorrow and have lunch? I'll speak to my father. He should be okay with it if we take a few warriors. If someone is there to watch us your parent's won't have to worry about me pouncing on you either."
Hinata gasped at the insinuation, but eyes lit up in excitement. "Y-y-yes! I-i-i would love to go with you," He smiled raidiantly, causing for his slanted eyes to close in his excitement.
Mitch looked at him mesmerized.
Ha. Sigh.
'I really want to fuck him right here and now,' he thought adjusting himself in his pants, as he turned away clearing his throat.
"Okay, good. Uh... I'll pick you up around 12 tomorrow. Don't worry about bringing anything, I'll have someone pack us something from the pack house."
Hinata nodded, almost wanting to pinch himself.
"Alright let's go, I can feel your brother staring a hole through my head," Mitch said wearily as he saw the man glaring, as he came back.
"What's taking you so long? Let's go. You can talk later, the fight is about to start."
Hinata nodded, his excitement dwindling as nervous energy settled into him.
Mitch sensed this, wrapping his arms around him. "Your father will be ok. Beta Alaric is really strong," he said reassuringly.
Hinata nodded giving him a small smile.
He zoned out, remembering what had happened earlier. While he acted like he didn't know what happened earlier, he was fully aware of everthing. What scared him was Flair's response to submit when she had plenty of time to escape. 'Mine!' Those were the words she growled when the black wolf had mounted her, wanting to be fucked.
