Once the two had finished consuming their meals and their beverages. They would exit the restaurant and head out back in the open. Artemis dug into his pockets and turned to try catching a sneak at the Shrine on the side across. He’d then pop the question, “Apollo, want to see if we can get a quick peek at the inside?” Apollo sighed and put her palm to her face, “Artemis, I could frankly care any less about partaking in that”. Artemis groaned, “come on, I want to take a look, I want to see how that priest goes around running his service”. Apollo sternly looked at him, “You already bothered him with the photo shoot, pretty sure some more will get you a restraining order”. He laughed, “Well you’re right, I wouldn’t want anything against my name truthfully”. “Artemis I doubt severely that’s going to always be all clear”. Artemis chuckled, “Well let’s get going back home now though”, Apollo frowned, “But I don’t wanna go home just yet“. “I think it’d be nice if we explored the area a bit, to get familiar”. Artemis rubbed his chin, “Well fine, but a quick walk around the Area only, nothing more”. Apollo lightened up, “Okay, but well what direction should we walk towards exactly?”. Artemis groaned a bit at her, “Well any? It’s a stroll around town, not like we’re walking to an exact spot”. Apollo chuckled, “Yeah that’s true, well I say we go straight past this restaurant across”. The twins would start walking straight to see around the area, scanning for any landmarks of interest.
They came across a variety of shops, though only a few of them caught their attention. Just enjoying the scenery of the town throughout, and feeling grounded onto the world. “Well you got the stroll you wanted, let’s head back”. Apollo sighs, “Fine, this area wasn’t exactly as special as I imagined it’d be, oh well”. Artemis chuckled, “Still better than that ancient junkyard we lived in prior”. Apollo laughed a bit, “Come on it wasn’t all that bad and gloomy, there was plenty good to be found”. They’d start to backtrack to locate their apartment building. The many of many trees on the sidewalk which are still blooming, a luscious orange hue to never shift, leaves never set to fade. When they headed back to where they were last located. Being the restaurant the two consumed at, Artemis tried sneaking a glance into the shrine once more. “Artemis, what do you think you’re doing exactly?” “Relax, I’m just trying to take a glance at it, is that so bad?”. Apollo sighed, “Can we not though? Let's just go Artemis”. Artemis sighed, “Okay fine, but first thing in the…First thing in the, not sure”. Apollo's palm was located at her face till she saw the priest of the altar staring at them. Her face turned red in embarrassment, and when Artemis turned back so did his. “May I help you two?”, “I heard quite a bit of noise now, outside my building”. “You do know it’s considered rude to loiter around right?” “It’s also not allowed either which I’d hope you‘d know right?”.
The priest remained eyes glued to them, “So either leave the premises, or I call the authorities”. “hey just wait a minute, it’s you from earlier, came to bother me some more?” “Leave, just leave my presence, you’re just some sin with no value.” “Harassing any of your superiors is looked down upon in the eyes of Kaionos”. “And you ma’am, I take it you’re related to this bumbling sinner?”. Apollo fidgeted with her pearls to avoid making any eye contact with the priest. “Yes sir, he’s my brother, we’re deeply sorry for loitering around your building”. The priest scoffed, “your outfit burns of sin just like your brother”. “But I suppose Kaionos needs more followers, so why don’t you join us in faith?” “Only you though, and not your brother, he’s done enough already”. Apollo just backed slowly away, “I’m rather thankful for the offer, just I’m already devoted to my personal faith”. Artemis just groaned, having been tired of hearing from the priest. “Listen no one wants to join your religion, I stick to worshiping my God, not yours”. “Besides, she's been nothing but pain, cursing us over what?” “Cursing us all for something so pitiful, she acts nothing like how one would imagine a goddess to act”. “She’s unworthy of any worship or prayer from me”. Artemis grasped onto his cross, “And I don’t appreciate how you communicate to my sister you absolute fossil, so if you don’t mind, we shall take our leave”.
The twins finally walked into their apartment complex after a while. Entering the code to get access into the building. Artemis with a heavy breath, “Some people just have no respect, and wonder why I won’t give it to them”. Apollo replied back to her brother, “Well still, it’s nice to be nice regardless”. “But yeah he wasn’t fun to deal with in the slightest”, she added, whilst she was fidgeting with her pearls. Apollo looked around seemingly looking for something. Artemis looked at her rather confused, “Something the matter?” Apollo looked at him, “No nothing’s the matter, just wondering”. “I honestly wanted to know Isaac a little better, so just wondering if we’ll ever come across him again”. Artemis chuckled, “Probably, I mean we saw him twice already? ”Wouldn’t be surprised to come across his face again”. Apollo smiled reassured, “Good I wanted to, well eventually become well acquainted with him”. They unlocked their apartment and settled in, doing their own things. Artemis would sink his time into watching a film on his phone. Whilst Apollo would focus her time into listening to the latest tunes from her favorite metal artists. Into their own zones of interests, not acknowledging another’s presence. But despite night never set to draw once more, the human body cannot remain awake always. So they finally shut their eyelids and laid themselves to rest.
A knock could be heard from the door, yet again like the first knock. It popped Isaac, “Apollo are you there by chance?” Apollo briefly opened her eyes and grungily walked towards the door once she heard that voice. “Yes I'm here, do you perhaps need anything?”. Isaac stopped his slouching, “I just wanted to perhaps give you my number in case, well in case you wanted to be friends maybe?” “Sorry if that seems random, since we only really had a conversation like twice?” “I just wanted to pop out the question”. Apollo smiled and brushed it off, “Oh Isaac, relax it’s fine, I’d gladly be your friend, so what may your number be?”. Isaac replied, “let me check my uhm…number to see if I wrote it right”. “Okay, my number is on the tip of my tongue, here it is”. He pulled out a pen and handed her a sticky note with his number written upon it. An already awakened Artemis walked towards the door where the two were conversing. “Excuse me please, If you don’t mind I’ll be heading out”. “Issac, do you by chance know where the Vinyl shop directions are?”. Issac replied, “Should be around the corner by the street, two blocks to the right”. “Turn a sharp left after, then head straight down till halfway, then it’s on your right”. Artemis nodded, “Alright, Apollo, call me in case of any emergencies”. Apollo nodded before returning her focus on Isaac. “Isaac”, she gestured to her phone, “Did I dial it in correctly?” “Does it look all correct?” Issac nodded, “yeah that’s the right number ol chap, now we can be uh, phone buddies?” Apollo smiled, “Yeah phone buddies, that sounds nice”.
Artemis walked down the street looking for the vinyl store. Following along with the directions of which Isaac gave towards the store. Around Halfway throughout the walk, Artemis would come across a humble park nearby, so he’d take a seat at the local bench within the park. Just observing the atmosphere, and being grounded to the soil of the earth. He took a deep breather and thought to himself for a little bit. Internally thinking within his head, “This feels right, this feels right, well though, I shall head back towards my destination in a bit”. But whilst feeling at ease, Artemis would feel his eyelids weigh heavy. And with that, after a while a couple of women around his age, seemingly being close friends with another, came walking by. One presented herself sternly, whilst the other seemed to be rather a perfectionist. Fixing up her hair with every strand, the two would come across where he was seated. Coming upon at the sight of a seemingly soulless corpse seated on the bench. The one which was presented sternly would be the first of the two to comment on the sight. “Is he by chance okay?” “Luna, can you tap on the man?” “To see if he’s alive or dead?” Luna nodded, so she tapped onto his shoulder, Artemis was jolted awake by the sudden touch. “Ack who goes there, why’d you tap on my shoulder?!” Luna laughed a bit to herself, “Sorry…Just wanted to check if you were still well, alive”. Artemis slowed his heartbeat, “yes I’m very so alive, just wasn’t expecting the sudden tap”. He tried composing himself, “Okay sorry for the sudden yell, thanks for the consideration though”.
