The note said-

“Abandoned house on street crossed”

Nearby police went to the location stated on the note. Local rumors say that street isn’t exactly… the best area. Still, officers went in expecting to find another shoe, jacket, maybe her phone. But nobody expected what they saw next. Our channel might get banned this case is supposed to be private but  here’s the video..? Taehyun swallowed, why a video? They couldnt just say what was in it or what? that would be so much easier and shorter.

If that’s gore, I’m going to lose it… but I’ve gotta see, I want to see.

He tapped the video. A grainy warning screen popped up, titled “Viewer Discretion Advised”, before giving way to shaky footage from what sounded like a cop’s phone cam. About six officers moved slowly down a broken, trash strewn street until there it was. The ruined house. The building was.. interesting to say the least? Paint peeling, boarded up windows, “caution” tape flapping in the wind. It looked like death. The officers entered, slowly. For a few minutes, nothing but footsteps and the squeak of old floorboards. “Ow-what the hell is..—THAT?!” A voice stumbled. Several men rushed in. A smear of red on the rotten wood floor.. plenty of it. One cop swabbed its. A few lingered, staring. More blood.. formed a trail..? Thats strange isnt it? It spiraled up a broken staircase. Lights from torches flickered as they climbed. Spooky silent creaks echoed through the lens.

The whole place reeked of rot. They reached a huge, battered door with a black knob. But.. what caught the attention was... A thin red string was tied around the doorknob tightly. A cop tugged at the string, trembling. “Why a string?” someone whispered. Everyone nodded. The dripping trail ended here.  Finally, an officer reached for the knob. “Huh, I guess this is the.. spot? Here we go..” They opened it and stepped into the bedroom. to say the least, it was giant, beautiful even if it wasnt.. Well for what was in there. The man filming followed last.

“No… w-what is that…?”
“Guys, I- I’m not imagining this, right?!”

The camera shook. Taehyun stared at the screen. Oh god..?, oh god.. A body hung on the wall. No, not just a body. Aeri, was hung on the wall. Dead, Aeri.. Her mouth.. sewn shut. And her eyes.. where missing..? Blood soaked the mattress, pooling underneath. A knife impaled the corpse’s chest, dried blood crusted around it. The floors splattered red. The room was dripping death. Who was so cruel to do this? This wasnt just murder, this was someone who took their life to take someone else's life. Not just take it too.. They- they.. Who ever did this. They must have enjoyed this. Or else there wouldnt be so much effort put into it.

Another cop cleared his throat, voice ragged:

“What does that say..?”

On the wall, written in blood, was a message-

“Not everyone deserves vision, don’t you think?”

Silence, well not completely, most where talking, well whispering. Some just stared, other where looking away, covering their eyes at this sight.

“Wait- why’s her mouth… sewn shut..?”
“Better question. Who hung her on the wall?!”

A third cop, wiser in wreckage, snapped them out

“You’re missing the point! Her eyes aren’t here and the message says something about vision. Connect the dots will you? What did she see to deserve this?”

Taehyun’s pulse pounded in his ears. He looked closer tried to keep watching. But suddenly. Bam- The page started reloading. Huh? Whats happening?  “Sorry, this post has been taken down.” Taehyun dropped his phone, breath ragged.
