Jiwon stared at each seat noting who’d came as he took his seat which was at the beginning of this very long table. There are 12 executives in total, two executives would be in charge of a certain role. There were six roles overall. They all have code name’s they use as extra measure to maintain privacy. Each executive has a different personality, Jiwon wasn’t quite picky when hiring them, as long as they were good at what they do. However, he’d have set one rule for them, that no matter what- When they set foot in this building, they’d have to wear professional attire.
“Bossss!!! How have you been it feels like forever~” - Nina
“Can you stop talking like that Nina, geez” - Kevin
“I know right? We saw him last week.” - Juliet
“I guess you missed me already?” - Jiwon
“Missed you? I am not a fan of working overtime even if it’s you boss” - Sean
“Don’t listen to this old man, I’d come over anytime you want me to.” - Nina
“Cheezy much?” - Jackson
“I thought you didn’t like to talk Jackson, zip it then.” - Nina
“Alright, that’s enough. I heard mark had sold information to the Lacel organization, Nina, why aren’t you looking after your men properly?” - Jiwon
“I apologize monsieur, however the information he sold wasn’t as significant as he thought, nevertheless we’ll deal with it, what do you think is the best course of action?” - Nina
“No. I’ll deal with him.” - Jiwon
At this moment, everyone knew the outcome, Ji-won always made his executive’s do his bidding, however, there was always this one thing he did himself, getting rid of someone. Once he sets his eyes on an enemy, he makes sure to neutralize them, as if he was exorcising a demon. He’d bite his finger to taste the flavor of metal, he’d method act, a blood thirsty psychopath. On the surface, it was a threat, the results of betraying him. On a deeper level, it was his own ideology, he couldn’t be the reason for someone to bloody their hands. Ji-won wasn’t an atheist, he’d believed in cause and effect, that everything has a reason or a purpose. He’d think of god from time to time, and he’d even pray, but he knew that no matter how forgiving god is, he wouldn’t save a man who isn’t willing to save himself. He’d pray to humble himself, that he isn’t anything more than a man. Joon-ho stood behind him, he looked like a silent shadow, as if he had a lot of words to say, but all he could do was stand above his shoulder, and hold him to the weight of his words. No one would dare appose, each of them, were once in a swamp of despair, where the past had drawn scars on their hearts. Ji-won gave them the antidote to their lifelong poison, he granted them one thing they wouldn’t have achieved alone, revenge without violence. Every one of them, were once a victim, but they’re no longer a pitiful soul, nor a perpetrator. However, Ji-won was no where near a true savior, he studied every person he saved, that they’d be useful. He calculated the outcome of giving them salvation, after all, he wouldn’t save who won’t benefit him, for he wasn’t a god, he was but a selfish human.
