Elyah

Elyah

Aug 02, 2025

[Scene I – The Chosen One’s Routine | Mountain Village – 04:56 a.m.]

(Darkness still covers the mountains. In a simple stone house, Elyah opens his eyes before the sun. He doesn’t need an alarm: routine lives in his body like a prayer.)

(He sits on the edge of the cot. Silence. He leans forward and places both hands on the floor.)

Elyah (softly):
"May my actions be as straight as the path of the One, and my voice worthy of being heard by Him."

(He stands up. Covers his torso with a white tunic embroidered with gold at the center of the chest: the symbol of the One, a circle split by a vertical line.)

(He goes to the stone basin. The water is freezing, but he washes his face with reverence. He does not complain.)

(As he steps outside his house, he breathes the pure air. He walks along a dirt path flanked by humble homes. Some are already awake. Women sweeping their doorsteps, children fetching water, elders seated before the rising sun.)

(He greets each of them with a bow. No one calls him “chosen.” No one worships him. They simply respect him.)

> [Village – Central Plaza – 06:01 a.m.]

(A group of ten people gathers around a wooden table. Elyah breaks bread and shares it. An elderly woman watches him.)

Elderly Woman:
— Elyah… you will be a beacon when the days grow dark. I saw it in dreams.

Elyah (calmly, without smiling):
— If the One wills it, I will be an instrument. Nothing more.

(He stands, bids farewell with the same bow, and disappears down the dirt paths. The camera rises: the village looks small among the towering mountains.)

[Scene II – Deep Prayer | Sanctuary of the One – 1:13 p.m.]

(An ancient structure, made of white stone, without ornaments or windows. Only a single entrance. Elyah enters alone.)

(The sanctuary is empty. Inside stands an altar. A polished white slab, without images. Only the symbol of the One.)

(He kneels in silence. Before the altar.)

Elyah (thinking):
"I’ve spoken of you every day. I’ve pronounced your name aloud and in whispers. But you… have you heard me?"

(He closes his eyes. Breathes.)

Elyah:
— If you are there… speak. Or at least, watch.

[Scene III – Simple Life | Temple Garden – 5:42 p.m.]

(Elyah waters plants beside an 8-year-old boy. Both are silent. The sun lowers gently over the hills.)

Boy:
— Why do we plant if the earth is dying?

Elyah (pausing):
— Because if we didn’t… it would already be dead.

(The boy looks at him, puzzled.)

Elyah:
— The One gave us soil, but not fruit. Gave us minds, but not answers. What we are, we sow. If you abandon it, you deny the gift.

Boy:
— And what if someone denies the One?

Elyah:
— The One does not shatter from denial. He who denies, shatters himself.

(The boy nods, not fully understanding, but accepting the answer as truth.)

(Elyah returns to work. Cuts dry branches. Looks to the sky. A ray of light breaks through the clouds and falls upon him for a few seconds. He closes his eyes, breathing deeply.)

[Scene IV – The Apparition | Sanctuary – 2:04 a.m.]

(Elyah sleeps in a corner of the sanctuary. The altar begins to glow. The candle he had extinguished… lights up on its own.)

(The ground vibrates.)

(An ancient, powerful voice, without direction, echoes as if born from the very walls.)

Voice of the One:
— Elyah… Hear me, son of Silence. I have chosen you. The world has broken into false gods, and their words are poison to mankind.

(Elyah wakes up. Immediately kneels. He trembles.)

Elyah (trembling):
— Is it you…? The One?

Voice of the One:
— I Am The One Who Is. Your tongue shall carry my judgment. Your step shall open my path. I breathe into you my Will.

(A light descends from the altar, strikes his chest without harm. The symbol of the One ignites in white flame upon his tunic.)

Voice of the One:
— Rise, Elyah. You are no longer a man. You are the Voice of the One. Spread my word. Purge doubt. Where there is chaos, bring order. Where you hear lies, speak my truth.

(Elyah opens his eyes. His gaze is no longer the same: steady, radiant. And he stands.)

> The First received the Voice, and the Voice was no whisper, but thunder.
He did not choose to speak; Speech itself chose him.

> What if the gods no longer asked for devotion... but obedience?

In a world where ancient faiths are returning and miracles are no longer metaphor, a young man named Kael begins to question everything. His past is marked by exile, his mind by dangerous ideas, and his present by visions he cannot explain.

As temples collapse and forgotten symbols reappear, Kael finds himself at the center of a growing storm—a silent war between belief and reason.

Seven religions. Seven chosen.
And one boy who doubts...

In a society where questioning the divine is heresy, Kael doesn't just ask why—he dares to ask what if they're wrong?

DIVINVM is a philosophical mystery about gods, faith, logic, and the terrifying power of doubt.
