"Hey, is this going to take much longer? I'm going to bleed to death here." Ash barged in.
"So- sorry, I'm done." Qian took off his apron and left without even looking at Ash. Ash didn't care; he was only concerned about treating his wounds and leaving the bakery.
Upon arriving home, Qian nimbly retrieved a box containing medicine and handed it to Ash.
“Here. If you need to clean your wound, the bathroom is over there.” he handed it to him. Ash nodded and headed for the bathroom first. Qian still couldn’t believe he’d brought a gangster back to his house. ‘You’re crazy, Qian. You’re crazy, crazy, crazy!’
“Excuse me, can I get the medicine?” ah! Ash had finished cleaning his wound. Even more shocking, he was naked. Don’t worry, he still had the towel wrapped around his genitals, don’t know where he got that towel. Qian was shocked and jumped up from his seat. His legs wobbled as he walked backward, only to stop when he was cornered.
“Pfft. Now you regret bringing me here? It’s too late. I could kill you now and heal my wound.” Ash smiled mischievously.
Qian truly regretted it. He should have gone straight to the countryside when he left the kitchen, and sought help. But it was too late. What was he supposed to do now?
"I brought you here, at least thank me." Qian groped the wall behind him, hoping for a miracle. His palms were sweating profusely, and the front of his hair was damp with perspiration. His lips were chapped from breathing through his mouth.
"Hah... unfortunately, I still have a conscience. Don't be afraid. Can I have the medicine box?" Ash took a step forward. Qian was on the verge of tears, no, not nearly. Drops of tears dripped down his cheeks, and Qian began to sob.
"I'm sorry, here's the box." finally, the box reached Ash's hands.
