The weather outside was fair, with the afternoon's sun bathing Cendi and Godfrey's apartment with golden, warm rays. The birds chirp heavenly tunes, and the chatter of people echoes from the bottom of the apartment, from outside, about what happened last night, or in the morning.

Vuni woke up by the noise; she yawned loudly and stretched. She tilted her head in curiosity and, with tired eyes, she got out of bed, set her feet gently on the floor, and followed the noise. She slowly sneaked by the door, and slowly opened it, still forgetting the device that hid her alien form.

Vuni tiptoed through the hallway, trying not to make noise, yet some of the floorboards of the apartment were worn and they creaked under the weight of her small frame. Vuni breathed through her teeth as she heard the floorboards creak, looking down at her feet, wondering why they made noise.

While Vuni was distracted by the noise of the floor, it also got Cendi's attention. Cendi yawned, stretched, and rubbed her eyes awake. She looked towards the hallway with her sight still blurry. She asked, "Godfrey, are you trying to sneak out again..." However, she held her breath and her eyes widened in shock with her mouth agape slightly.

Vuni slowly looks up at Cendi with concern, blinking her wide, slanted galaxy eyes, and her tendril tentacle-like hair wiggles on its own. She noticed that Cendi was speechless, yet a terrified expression spread across her face. Vuni finally realised she was in her alien form, and Cendi saw her in her true form.

Suddenly, Cendi sent out a blood-curdling scream, which Vuni joined in with her own scream, and tears flowed behind it. The screams startled Godfrey awake, causing him to think the worst. Godfred rushed outside his room, where he saw Vuni in her alien form screaming and crying, and he saw his sister cowardly on the couch, pointing at Vuni.

"Godfrey! Watch out! She, she is an Alien!" she announced in terror, looking at Vuni's tendril tentacle-like hair and remembering her nightmare.

Godfrey held out his arms towards his sister, trying to calm her down. "I know, sis, I know." he turns towards Vuni, doing the same motion, trying to calm Vuni down also. "Vuni, please calm down, it's okay, I promise."

Cendi was still in shock, yet even more so now, as the words of her little brother echoed in her mind. 

"What do you mean, you know?" she asked in concern and fear.

Godfrey was tired and wanted to answer, but he knew what was coming next. he turned his head towards his older sister with a look of judgment.

"You told me to make friends, now here she is, stop being a jerk!"

Cendi looks at her little brother with a mixture of concern, pride, and fear, not for what Vuni would do, but how others would consider her to be. The protective sister took over as she tried to calm her nerves.

"This explains a lot," she says, finding the answers to most of her questions.

Godfrey looks towards his big sister and sighs with relief, and a gentle expression forms on his face, finally noticing his sister was finding understanding.

"Her outfit, the ice cream, everything." Cendi continued gathering up the answers. Yet, an expression of concern formed on her face as she explained to her brother and the alien being, "Godfrey, you know she is in danger, right? How would others react when they see this form?"

Vuni quickly turns back to the room and races towards it, not explaining anything, making a confusing situation. Cendi reached out, not understanding what was going on, and felt she had hurt Vuni's feelings, yet Godfrey guessed what she saw doing, and he waited patiently and halted his sister. Vuni rushed back to the bedroom to get the device that was on the nightstand, and she returned to Godfrey and Cendi.

Godfrey smiled and nodded, while Cendi looked at her with confusion. Vuni put the device on her wrist, and a beam of light scanned Vuni and transformed her back to her human form.

"Is this better, Miss Cendi?" Vuni asks with such an adorable, sweet tone.

Vuni scratched the back of her neck, and her body swayed left to right as she looked down at the ground with an embarrassed expression on her face, "I am sorry, I scared you," she added with sorrow in her tone.

Cendi was filled with a trance, and the fear that tugged at her very soul vanished into shards, as her heart softened at the sight and tone of Vuni.

"Aww, it's fine, sweetie," she said with awe, admiring Vuni's cuteness.

"I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions; I should be the one who should be sorry," she added, feeling bad for being so judgmental. Her expression fell to the ground, and he cheeks blushed red in embarrassment, as she scratched the back of he head.

Though Cendi felt bad about her behavior, Vuni put a glowing smile on her face and rushed up to Cendi, lifted her chin, and lifted her spirit with such a glowing expression.

"Don't be sad, Miss Cendi, I forgive you. I mean, you gave me that sweet cold dish earlier," she added, continuing to awe Cendi with her cuteness.

Cendi forms a gentle smile at Vuni as she asks, "geez, no one can be sad or mad with you around, huh?" Vuni turned around and slowly walked, kicking up her legs with each step. As she turned around to look at Cendi, she giggled and said, "Nope."

Cendi's smile widened at Vuni's response, and a chuckle formed. Suddenly, Cendi's attention was caught by Godfrey as she saw he looked away in embarrassment, and his cheeks glowed a red hue at Vuni and her response to Cendi. It seemed Vuni's innocence caught Godfrey's attention, also.

Cendi's grin turned into a mischievous smile as she knew Godfrey was affected by Vuni's sweet and innocent expressions. She teased, "Godfrey, are you okay? Your face is all red."

Godfrey, caught off guard, says, looking away in embarrassment, "Yeah, I am fine, I am just tired." 

Vuni encircled him, leaning over, trying to look at his face with a curious expression. "Are you sure? You don't look so good."

Godfrey was trying to hide his face and trying to convince them both he was fine, "Yeah, I am fine, just tired," as his face turned a brighter hue of reddness.

Cendi burst into laughter as she said, "Okay, vuni, let him be; if he says he's fine, he is fine." Vuni turned to Cendi as her concerned expression turned into a gentle smile, and she tilted her head and closed her eyes as she said, "Oh, okay."

Cendi's grin got wider as she watched her little brother get all embarrassed, yet she told him, "Godfrey, get ready to go, we have stuff to do." Godfrey will be embarrassed, says lost in his shyness, "Oh, right, okay, be out soon." he slowly trended back to his room; however, Vuni was about to follow him, until Cendi called to her.

Vuni darted her head towards Cendi. Cendi was shaking her head as she signaled Vuni to come towards him and said, "Leave him be, let him get ready, okay." Vuni formed a gentle smile and swayed her small figure back and forth as she said, "Okay, sorry, Miss Cendi."

Yet she looks back to the Godfreys' room with an expression of wonder and concern. She was worried about him, thoughts crossed her mind, "Why was he so red?", "What did he do in his room?", and what did his room look like?" She tilted her head in concern and wonder, wanting to know what he did in his room.

While Cendi and Vuni waited for Godfrey to get ready, Godfrey closed the door behind him, leaned on it, slid down into a sitting pose, and put his head onto his knees. His heart was pounding in his chest like a drum, and his arms and legs were shaking. He let out a frustrating growl. He mumbles, "Why does she do that?" 

He covers his face and adds, "What is this going on with me?" he grunts and slaps his face. He gets up and changes out of his pajamas and into a white t-shirt and blue shorts. He puts on his heart locket that has his parents in it, and he puts a baseball cap on and puts it on backwards, he then puts on his socks and shoes and heads out of his room.

Suddenly, as Godfrey walks out of his room, a knock forms on the door, echoing through the apartment. The knock was loud and firm with a rhythm of urgency. Yet, the knock surprised everyone. Cendi and Godfrey looked at each other with worry. However, Vuni had never heard this sound before, and it reminded her of the crash she was in. She rushed towards Godfrey and covered her ears as she cried out, "Godfrey! What is that? It's scary!"

Cendi shot her attention to Vuni and then back at the door. Her protective sister kicked in as she opened the door with an angry expression on her face. With a loud, angry shout, she yelled as she opened the door. "What! You are scaring my cousin!"
