One weekend Macklin and Tanny were out to get some stuff at the grocery store when they ran into Owen, Tanny was surprised at the same time, she felt it was foolish because it's a grocery store anyone could come to, she was now staring at him and could only smile to cover the awkward moment between them. Just then Macklin broke the ice "Do you two know each other", Tanny opened her mouth hesitating ,"Err, yeah, he is my_,

Owen interrupts, "Tanny, when did you turn to a stammerer? 

The teasing tone stung more than it should've, her face tightened . She turned her eyes to look away biting her lips, "Sorry I'm just surprised to see you here"

" I live around", Owen replied casually tossing the juice into his basket like he hadn't just poked her nerves. "That's cool, we too live not far away from here",Mackin said to ease the tension rising. Tanny felt a knot in her stomach, she didn't understand why Owen made her feel this way, probably it's just a crush that she refuses to accept, who will not have a crush on Owen, he is that type of guy that every girl would like.

Just then a familiar voice floated from the next aisle, "Owen there you are, I have been looking for you_

Tanny turned her head her eyes widened, it was the girl from the airport, she tied her hair in a high puff and her nails painted in bold orange.

"Wait.....We've met before, haven't we ? the girl asked tilting her head slightly, " At the airport", 

"Oh yeah! I almost knocked you over" Macklin said with an awkward smile.

Owen cleared his throat, "Since you all know each other, I won't have too much introduction then, this is my sister Zara 

Tanny blinked. Wait..... What?

Macklin was utterly confused, "She's your what?

"Sister," Owen replied as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Zara folded her arms, her eyes flickering between Owen and Tanny, then she smirked, " Is she your girlfriend ?

"He's not my boyfriend, he's just a classmate whom I happened to bump into" Tanny hurriedly said. 

Owen raised an eyebrow, "Tanny, you always talk as if there's a hot yam in your mouth "

At this moment tanny wished the ground would swallow her. Macklin, sensing the awkwardness quickly offered, I'm Macklin by the way. Her elder brother.

Zara laughs, " That's cool, we should get going Owen", "Yeah that's right", Owen replied, his gaze met with Tanny's, Tanny was flustered, she quickly put her head down only then did Owen leave with his sister. As he was leaving Tanny noticed his corner of his mouth lift like a small smile.

They left, Macklin breathed a sigh of relief, "Why did you sigh? Tanny gave him a questioning look 

Suddenly, Macklin started looking left and right as if he were looking for something, Tanny was obviously angry, "I am asking you a question Mac ", "Well, I am looking for a sign board, or any instruction where it says SIGHING IS NOT ALLOWED. Macklin replied coolly. "You're so annoying", " And Owen isn't"

Hearing Owen's name gave Tanny knots in her stomach which made her face look very pale.

"What's wrong, you look like you've seen a ghost" Macklin joked, "Can't you be serious for once", Tanny snapped back at him.

"Okay girl, chill relax " I'm not going to bother you for now, it seems I have successfully completed my mission".

Throughout the journey back to their house, Tanny didn't say a word to Macklin, it was clear that she is very angry with him and Macklin did not seem to care either,rather he was busy listening to Juice wrld song in his ear pods, while humming and singing it " I still see your shadows in my room, can't take back the love that I gave you, it's to the point where I love where I hate you, so I cannot change you but I must replace oh....
