It was supposed to be a quiet night.
Beetle cracked his knuckles as he stepped into the abandoned subway arena. Blood stains on the floor, broken neon signs, and a circle of roaring spectators. Just how he liked it.
On the other end of the ring?
White Ghost.
Cold eyes. Wrapped fists. Standing still like a statue of death.
Beetle smirked.
"Never thought I’d be fighting a ghost tonight."
Ghost didn’t smile.
"You’re standing in my hunt. Leave now, or I’ll make you."
Their fists spoke the next words.
Taekwondo speed vs raw street power.
Ghost spun — crescent kick to the temple.
Beetle tanked it — countered with a shoulder slam.
Back and forth. Lightning against thunder.
The crowd screamed.
But just as Ghost gained the upper hand, dodging every strike and landing precision blows, a deafening explosion interrupted the fight.
A wall shattered. Smoke filled the arena.
And out stepped a new fighter — X — The Cross’ top enforcer.
Metal arms. Blood-red eyes. Scars shaped like crosses all over his body.
"Enough games," he growled. "The Cross calls for war."
Beetle and Ghost locked eyes.
No words.
They charged X together.
Double roundhouse. Right jab. Low sweep. Back elbow.
X blocked all of it.
Then he grabbed Beetle by the neck and threw him through a wall.
Ghost attacked again, but even he was forced back.
Suddenly, gunshots echoed. Not from X. From above.
Myu, the cop, dropped in from the roof with a grin.
"Boys, boys — this your idea of a date? You could’ve at least invited me."
She fired a stun round at X. No effect. But she used it to buy time.
Ghost growled.
"You’re interfering."
Myu winked.
"Oh relax, Casper. I’m the legal kind of trouble."
X turned toward Myu.
She flipped over him, using a police baton to strike his joints. Tactical. Smart. But X was a monster.
He caught her mid-air, only for Beetle to slam into him with a flying knee from behind.
Ghost followed up with a spinning hook kick.
X stumbled. The trio finally had momentum.
Ghost: "We need to hit him from three angles. I take high."
Beetle: "I’ll crush the middle."
Myu: "Guess I’m stuck with the low blow."
(She winks again.)
"Don’t judge. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do."
Coordinated attack. Flawless.
X finally fell.
The crowd scattered as police sirens blared. Myu called in a squad, but when she turned—
X was gone.
But in his place was a device. Projecting a hologram.
A tall figure in shadows. Eyes glowing gold.
"Impressive. But this was only the test. I’m coming next."
Behind him, monstrous figures moved. Silent. Watching.
Then the feed ended.
The trio stood together, still panting.
Beetle: "I liked it better when I was the weirdest guy in the room."
Ghost (serious): "This isn’t over. This was a declaration."
Myu (checking her weapon): "Well boys… looks like you’ve got a new team member."
Ghost: "You’re not ready for what’s coming."
Myu (smirking): "Says the guy named after a Scooby-Doo character."
Beetle: "Hey... are we gonna ignore that she saved us a little? I think we owe her dinner."
Myu: "Make it BBQ and we’re a team."
Final Scene (Post-Credit Style)
A dark underground lab. Cross scientists watching screens.
They speak of “The Alpha Project.”
And in the shadows, the teased villain — ten feet tall, wearing a mechanical exosuit, with scars shaped like ancient symbols — watches footage of Ghost, Beetle, and Myu fighting together.
"Good," he growls. "Let the game begin."
