The grand mansion stood silent and imposing. Era walked up to the large main door, his heart calm but curious. As the door creaked open, a surprising scene awaited him.
Inside, sitting respectfully on the ground, were A1, A3, and A4 — and behind them, over a hundred Night Walkers, all seated silently. Behind the group stood a large wall with a central ornate door embedded in it.
Everyone (in unison):
“Welcome, Nightmare!”
Era blinked in surprise.
Era: “Woww...!”
A2 stepped forward gracefully.
A2: “Please, come in, Nightmare.”
Era walked forward, the echoes of his footsteps lost in the reverent silence. As he passed by, A1, A3, and A4 once again offered him a respectful welcome, then gestured him toward the door embedded in the rear wall.
The door opened into a vast ceremonial hall where more Night Walkers sat in organized rows. At the far end of the room stood a majestic throne — tall, intricately carved, and glowing under the dim overhead lights.
Era (in his thoughts):
“Okay, this is seriously getting overwhelming... I wasn’t expecting this level of treatment at all!”
A1 motioned toward the throne. Era hesitated for a moment, then walked to it and sat.
A brief silence followed — the room waited on his words.
A1: “Please, say something to your Night Walkers, Nightmare.”
Era: “Ah? Umm... well... You all are doing a great job. Just keep doing what you’re doing!”
Everyone:
“Yaaay!!! Wooow!!!” (A loud cheer erupts)
Era: “Heh... yeah, yeah... ha ha...”
Later, they escorted Era to his personal room, located at the very top — the 8th floor of the mansion.
The scene cut to the elevator doors opening. Inside stood Era, A1, A2, A3, and A4. As the five stepped out, they walked just a few steps before A4 opened a grand door in front of them.
Inside was a luxurious lounge space with a sofa set, large TV, and elegant decor. The entire floor — apart from the elevator section and the small space around it — belonged solely to Era.
Era: “Whoa...!”
A1: “Nightmare, this is your room.”
Era: “And what about your rooms?”
A3: “Our rooms are on the 7th floor.”
Era: “Oh. Are your rooms this big too, or... just mine?”
A3: “Only yours, Nightmare.”
A4: “If this feels too small, we can always build you a separate mansion.”
Era: “No, no! This is more than enough.”
Era (in his thoughts):
“Okay, now this is seriously too much. Hahaha!”
Era: “Okay, I’ve seen everything now. Please take me back.”
A2: “As you wish, Nightmare.”
A helicopter carried Era back and dropped him quietly onto a nearby building. He quickly changed into his school uniform and headed home.
[Scene: Era's House]
Era stepped through the door.
Era: “I’m home... whew, what a day. That was exhausting!”
Umar (from the couch): “Welcome back, Era.”
Era: “Oh, you’re home? Didn’t go to work today?”
Umar: “Came back early today.”
Era noticed the TV was on.
Era: “What are you watching?”
Umar: “Night Walker’s all over the news again. Apparently, they hit a jewelry store last night.”
Era: “I see... Where’s Mom and Yumi?”
Umar: “No idea about your mom. Yumi went shopping.”
Just then, Taniya burst into the house excitedly.
Taniya: “Era! Guess what happened today!”
Era: “What?”
Taniya: “I went to N Mall with my friends. And guess what — some VIP showed up wearing our school uniform! And one of my friends was convinced it was YOU! Haha!”
Era: “!!! Huh?! Hahaha! Your friend must be as imaginative as you are! How could that possibly be me?!”
Taniya (laughing): “Yeah, you’re right! No way it could be you, right?! Hahaha—wait. Did you just call me crazy?”
Era: “When did I say that? Dad, you heard that?”
Umar: “I’m not even here right now.”
Era: “See? Even Dad didn’t hear anything.”
Taniya: “Ugh...!”
