That day went well for Mariam, she finished all her work at time and left the office without any more fights or tension.

But as soon as she went outside the office she started thinking from whom she could lend money. As she gave it a long thought she could not find anyone of her known who will be willing to give her money. She doesn't really has many friends and the one best friend she has, has already taken money from her this month, which means asking her for money is of no use.

As she was thinking all these she was walking absentmindedly and when her trance broke she found herself standing outside a big shopping mall. She cursed herself realizing what she had done and dwelled on the thought whether she should go inside or not? And finally she went inside and started roaming around for a few moments, before she went to a shop where she can get the dance cloths and accessories  for her sister.

And she wanted to know the price so that she can arrange money according to the price. Thus saw a few dresses that matches the theme and asked the shopkeeper about price, which was 3k. As this was quite expensive and she also needed some other stuff so she did a little bargain even though she doesn’t have any money. But the shopkeeper started being rude with her and said, " It's not a cheap store where you can bargain, either take it as it is or leave it.he also added," the way you are asking for price and bargaining I can tell you don't have the intention or money to buy, you are just wasting my time, get moving lady, we have customers who are here to buy",  Hearing this she got really offended and left the place as soon as possible and went home with a sad and exhausted face.

Today her mother also didn’t ask her anything watching her condition. Even though she fights with Mariam all the time she does love Mariam which she doesn’t show most of the time.

Mariam entered her room, took a towel and changing cloths and went to shower to wash off the embarrassment.

She had just come out of the bathroom after a long shower, when their doorbell rang. Alisha went to open the door. Opening the door she didn’t find anyone outside instead there was a box wrapped with silver wrapper with a card written,"Best wishes pumpkin, what are you waiting for just open it".

Alisha opened the box happily and there was her dance costume and other accessories. She became so happy that she ran to her di's room and hugged her saying thank you, thank you, thank you soo much di, you bought all these even before my asking it, you are the best.

Mariam was shocked hearing this, she said, " What are you saying pumpkin? What have I bought?"

And Alisha shows her the things she received in the box, and Mariam was about to say that she didn't buy these but before that Alisha once again hugged her in happiness and ran to their mother to show them.

On the other hand Mariam was now at the whirlpool of thoughts on what to or what not to do, she don't know who had sent this. These are the exact same things she was watching at the mall, which means someone must have been watching her, but who could it be? And why would they do such a thing? Do they have an ulterior motive on her or what? And the biggest worry among all these is when her little sister is so happy how can she ruin her happiness by telling her the truth?

All these thoughts were coming on a loop until she was called for dinner by her mother. Now seeing everyone happy she couldn't say anything to them, and thought she would find out who gave it and give him the money back.

A few days passed and now she knows who sent her sister those gifts. It was none other than her boss, whom she always used to think arrogant but she never knew he has such a soft side too. And she knew it was done by him as one of her colegue told her they saw Sanjeet on the mall that day. Which makes sense that he might have seen her and his guilt of alwyas scholding must have made him do all these. Now she is not that angry on Sanjeet and quite the opposite exactly.

Sanjeet is also being good to her since a few days. He is being sweet with her and not getting on her nerve like before. Everything seems to be soo much better these days than what it used to be without one thing. Its Divya Singh. She is getting worse to handle day by day. All the interactions with Divya irritate her to the core.

Last day when she went to the coffee machine Divya was already making her coffee. Mariam got alert as in their last interaction Divya rudely said her stay away from her and she silently stood away from her. Even so Divya stated taunting her - You don't follow me everywhere right? Then what is this? Why are you here the same time I am here?

"Well this time or place wasn't reserved for you so I didn't know you were going to be here, from next time reserve a coffee machine too", Mariam said.

"May be I will for the one's like you, who loves to get in my way " Divya retorted.

"Excuse me I wasn't getting in your way, see I am standing far from you, get over yourself", Mariam retorted back.

"You just say all this but your action says something else" Divya said and went past Mariam pushing her through shoulder.

"What does she think of herself ? Owner of this company or what?" - Mariam thought with anger.

And with all the rucks her coffee drinking mood also spoiled, thus she left the place without having coffee.

But when she reached her desk there was already coffee on her desk. She looked here and there for who could have sent her coffee. At the same time she saw Sanjeet standing a few walks away from her desk, and she didn't have to think anymore.

She took the coffee cup in her hand and as soon as the coffee entered her throat she was in heaven due to two reasons, one- she was having a headache thus she went to get the coffee on the first place, and two- the coffee was just the way she likes and even better.

She became impressed with Sanjeets detailed knowledge about her. No one else did this for her, As the first child she has always thought about others happiness and small necessities but hardly her needs were taken to consideration.

She drank the coffee with a pleasant smile on her face forgetting the fight in front of coffee machine a few moments ago.
