After having a pleasant dinner and talking with my siblings I went to my bed for sleep, as I laid on my bed I started to think about Divya, one moment I feel like she is really a bad person and the other moment I feel she is a really good person. Does she have a split personality or what? All day long she didn't even look once in my direction(not like I am expecting something, but yesterday we had a good time together and I felt like we had grown some sort of bond through that & a smile looking at my direction could suffice to show that we are not strangers anymore), even when we were alone on the lift she didn't initiate a conversation or even looked at me as if I don't exist. On the other hand when I needed help she was the one to help me within seconds.

How did she know that? Was she observing me all along and I didn't understand or it was my good luck that her eyes landed on me when I needed. Aaaaarrrgg, Why is this girl so complicated? Will I ever be able to understand her or not? I was good hating her. But witnessing all her new shades of personality is really confusing.

She was about to sleep, meanwhile their close moment came in her mind, how she was covering her like a protector, and how good she smells. Also due to their proximity she could have a close look at her physique which seemed pretty well maintained. She must be going to gym regularly. As her hands were pressed to the wall, her sky blue shirt was hugging her body, giving a hint of her perfectly built abs. Why am I even thinking about her? All these thoughts wasn't approving her to sleep thus she picked up a book to read, and slowly drifted in the valley of silver dreams reading three pages of 'Before the coffee gets cold'.

Divya's POV

Today I was in a foul mood as I was late for the office due to my late sleeping last night. Even though I was the owners daughter I never liked to take any favour because of my dad's name.

Upon being late Sanjeet didn't say anything to me so, I scolded him for this partial behaviour quite in a rude way.

I also planned on limiting my interaction with Mariam, as she has some weird magnetic pull around her which seems to make my mind go crazy and hamper my work thus I didn't look at her all day even though my mind was totally against it.

Upon reaching canteen for some aspirin I witnessed her chock on water, I was worried for her and wanted to patt her back for relief but she already had her friends with her who were concerned for her so I took my aspirin and left the canteen.

As planned this day was less eventful and I didn't have to interact with her so I was at relief. But at my dismay when I was making up to Sandeep(as he was my only friend in this office, also my childhood friend) for my behaviour in the morning after presuming everyone's departure, there she was in front of me in all her beauty. I got irritated for a second and sighed as now this girl is going to roam inside my mind for the rest of the day.

After she left I also left Sanjeets cabin bidding my goodbye. We were at the same lift still I put on my resolve and didn't looked at her. Or may be I was stealing glances, who am I even fooling?

Doing so I noticed a guy was pressing his body on her, I could feel anger building up inside me and without wasting another moment I stood in front of her, at that moment protecting her became my priority, leaving all my thoughts behind.

She seemed pretty shocked at first. Due to another wave of people we became even more close that there was a 2-3 inch gap between us, her breath was fanning my slender neck as she was shorter than me, Holly fuckk, even though from a woman this much closeness is supposed to make you feel things, isn't it? Heat was rushing through my body due to this unintentional act of her & it became hard for me to stand on my ground.

I could smell her shampooed hair due to our height difference and closeness, her hair was smelling so good, should I ask her next time which brand she uses? Maybe not.

One thing is sure this girl is really pretty up close, her boyfriend must be a lucky guy to have her.

The next few days passed quite normally. They never talked to each other but whenever their eyes met they passed a smile and that was all required to make them happy. Both were quite over the past incidents and now were back to their old life.

It was Friday evening and Divya was really excited about the weekend. She left the office in a good mood.

On the other hand Mariam's mood was spoiled due to Sanjeet's rude behaviour towards her, he was good with her for a while but now he is back to his rudeness. Akansh watched her face sulking all evening so planned to take her out to make her feel better, he knows she would never agree to go out with him alone, thus he made a plan with Ruhani and Sasha, weekend was coming so none of them had any problem with that, but the real challenge was making Mariam agree to this.

Three of them stayed after the office & then approached Mariam, in return she said her mother would never allow her to go out at night.

Akansh- Please go with us, It will be fun.

Mariam- I am sure it will be but what to do about my mom?

Sasha the bubly one- Give her some sleeping pills with dinner she won't even know you are out, and you will be back before her waking up😉

Mariam- are you crazy? I am not going to do such a thing. You guys carry on and have fun.

Ruhani- Please na, We know you never went clubbing, at least try it once with us, do you want to miss out on your youth this much?

This one hit Mariam a bit. Actually she was missing out on a lot of things, she was never allowed to go on tours. Her mother used to say to her- you can go all places in the world when you are married nothing before that. She had never been able to go out as she wanted to with her friends let alone clubbing, she also lost connection to most of her school or College friends due to her strict mother and never being able to be with them. She doesn't wants to lose them too.

Thinking about such things she said ok I will see what I can do. Let me know what time you will be going?

Akansh - 9 will be fine.

Mariam - Okay let me try. But I can't promise.

Akansh - Do try hard.

After going home the first thing she did was summon her siblings in her room, and with a lot of nervousness she said she needed their help in going out tonight.

Both of her siblings loved her very much, and they never saw their sister wanting anything from them, so they were more than happy to help. But her brother said," Do inform me when you will be coming back I will bring you back home" She just nodded in agreement.

They finished their dinner by 8.30 today. And kept their mother busy at work. Mariam was doing her makeup while Arham(their brother) brought a dress for her di. Which she wore and got ready.

The only task left now was sneaking her out of the house avoiding their mother. For which Alisha(Mariam's sister) distracted their mother while Arham took her out of the house upon the arrival of her colleagues and locked the front door after that. The rest of the journey was smooth.

It was Mariam's first time at a club she was really nervous as they entered the club together, after a while she started enjoying watching everyone enjoy, mostly Akansh was giving her full company, they insisted her to dance which she refused but after further request she gave in to them and went on the dance floor, they were all in awe after watching her dance, but after a bit, she became thirsty & went towards the bar to have some fruit juice, ordering fruit juice she watched others dance and cheered for them.

After getting her juice she took that and again went to the dance floor but this time she was a bit far from her group, she tried to get back to them when she felt someone's hands touching her lower back and trying to grope her, she turned to that person in a flash and that person didn’t looked like a decent guy, still she had a verbal battle with him for her safely but that person wasn't backing up. He started pulling her hand and dragging her towards the exit, Akansh and Ruhani tried to save her but that guy had two of his friends with him who stopped them, they felt so helpless. At the very moment Divya entered the club with her friends. And watching this she stopped that guy and kicked him in his main part making him fall on the ground with pain. Taking the opportunity Akansh also handled one of his friends and Divya along with others handled the rest and handed all three of them to the security.

After doing all these she went towards Mariam who was trembling in fear still now and had been weeping, at that time Divya doesn't know what transpired between her that she covered Mariam's body with her jacket, and pulled her in her chest with one hand so that no one watches her face and with the other she warned people saying," Listen to me very carefully, I am Divya Kapoor, Daughter of Dharendra Kapoor the industrialist, if any one of you dare to upload any video related to this night, I would destroy you in a second, just remember that".

Saying this she came out of the club along with her other colleagues. All this time Mariam was clinging to her body in the same way.

After coming out she was somewhat stable and said, " T_thank you for saving me" with a shaky voice.

Akansh was upset as all these happened due to him, he said he can drop her home. But Divya interjected and said, You better drop Ruhani and Sasha home, I will take her home, if we inform her brother it will take him 1 hour more to come, so I will just inform him on the way.

As they left Divya took Mariam inside her car & gave her a wet wipe to wipe her face. Which she took but wasn't being able to do it properly with the car mirror, thus Divya took a wet wipe and started to clean her face, Mariam was silent all along, but she was staring at her intently.

Mariam- You didn't have to do this much, If you called my brother for me that would have been enough.

Divya- Its not a problem I would have done it for any other girl. And I can't leave you alone, what if they get away from the guard and come back to take revenge on you.

Mariam - But you had just come here, I ruined your night too.

Divya - "Umm, then make my night na, will you? " she said in a seductive way.

Mariam fumbled and said, - "W_w..hat? How can I make your night?"

Divya flattered her eyes and said- Don't act naive, you know how, saying which she started laughing.

Mariam's breathing hitched after hearing her words and her face turned red. But watching her laugh she became normal and laughed a little herself and said, "kuch bhi"

Divya watched her and thought at least she forgot the memories of assault for now & getting better but it will hit her once she is alone, lets try everything on my hand to make her forget those.

Divya started her car and took it to her favourite Ice-cream parlour, when the car came to a stop Mariam said, " Why did u stop your car here?"

Divya- "You will see why", saying this Divya got her out of the car. The Ice-cream parlour was close to the sea, so taking 2 Ice-cream she took Mariam towards the sea beach. They sat close to each other and enjoyed the beauty of nature under the moon light, while having their Ice-cream.

To Mariam it was all magical, as she has never been out this late at night, let alone watching the sea under moonlight, she was totally lost in the beauty and the sound of waves hitting the shore with its grace, there were also the sound of cricket's coming from the jungle it was all creating a breathtaking moment for her, what else seemed breathing was Divya, she always had good dressing sense, she was wearing a white Plain T Shirt & black flared leather pant , her matching leather jacket with that pant was hanging on my body, giving the feeling of her.

Her dark hairs were hanging under her shoulder blades, while a few hair strands were weaving due to the light breeze, her face looked glowing under the moon with light makeup, and mostly her efforts to make Mariam smile was mesmerising.

Mariam was looking at her & lost track of time when Divya said, " It's almost 11.30. We have to go back now or your family will be worried for you, call your brother and say we will be reaching in 20 ".

Mariam's mind wasn't fully ready to leave this place yet, but she knew she had to go, thus reluctantly she got up following Divya.

The journey back home was silent, but Mariam was stealing glances of Divya every now and then. When they reached outside Mariam's house, Mariam said, " I am grateful to you for everything you did today, I don't know how to pay you back"

Divya said- " Make me eat something sweet & we will be equal ", with a wink.

Mariam smiled in return & went inside her house with AK(Arham Khan) waving good night to her.

AK in low voice- Di isn't it Divya?

Mariam- Yes, how do you know?

Ak-" just knew watching her car. Who else would drop you off a Lamborghini if not her?" he said with a grin.

Mariam laughed and said," go sleep now, let me go inside too before maa wakes up and sees me like this".

After changing into comfortable clothes Divya laid on her bed and pulled her duvet over her body and started thinking.

Her mind was overloaded with thoughts of Divya & she vowed to herself 'no matter what from now on she is never going to think her wrong, because in every situation Divya showed her what a generous person she is'.

She slept with a content smile on her face. The happenings of the club weren't even on her mind.
