It had been a long time since Era last sat inside the Night Walker’s meeting room. Today, he was there again, surrounded by A1, A2, A3, A4, and several trainee-ranked Night Walkers. A3 was standing at the head of the table, giving the latest updates.
“Currently, our Agra team has 231 members,” A3 reported. “In Mathura, we have 702 members. Also, the number of homeless people sleeping on the streets in Agra has decreased by 30% compared to before.”
Era nodded approvingly.
“Well, guys—”
Before he could continue, his phone began to ring.
Ring… ring… ring… ring…
“Hmm, one second,” Era said, pulling out his phone.
He answered the call.
“Hello? Yes, Mami… hmm, yes, I remember—it’s Didi’s birthday this Sunday. Yes, I’ll come today… what? You want me to come right now? Haha, just kidding. Okay, bye… I’m a bit busy at the moment. Alright, bye.”
Ending the call, Era looked back at his team.
“So, as I was saying—good progress so far. Keep working like this, and one day we’ll have complete control over Agra under Night Walker Nightmare.”
“Roger that!” everyone responded in unison.
A2 raised a hand.
“Nightmare—”
“Hm?” Era looked at him.
“It’s about the Futan Gang. A1, please continue.”
A1 spoke seriously.
“Yes, Nightmare. Recently, the Futan Gang has become quite active. I believe they’re planning something big.”
“Then find out what their plan is,” Era ordered, “and crush it before it begins.”
A1 hesitated, then added,
“From the information I’ve gathered… their target might be you, our leader, Nightmare.”
Era’s eyes narrowed.
“I see…”
“They might want to destroy you and then take control of the entire UP,” A1 continued. “But… they don’t know who you are. They have no information on what you look like. So for now, there’s no direct danger.”
Era leaned forward.
“That doesn’t mean you all can sit around calmly. Whatever it takes, I want the Futan Gang wiped out before the end of this month!”
“Yes, sir, Nightmare!” A4 responded firmly.
“Anything else?” Era asked.
A3 checked her notes.
“Yes, you have a meeting with the weapon dealer soon. He could arrive at any moment.”
Just then, a guard entered the room, bowing slightly.
“My apologies, Leader and Masters, but the weapon dealer has arrived.”
“Good. Bring him here,” A3 instructed.
“Yes, ma’am,” the guard replied, signaling a junior guard to fetch the visitor.
While they waited, Era glanced back at A1.
“So, until he arrives, tell me—how’s our business doing?”
A1 answered quickly.
“In Mathura, we already have N Mall, which generates a daily income of about 5 million rupees, and a monthly income of 250 million.”
Era’s eyes lit up.
“Wow! That’s great.”
“In Agra, we don’t have a mall yet,” A1 continued, “but we run some smaller businesses.”
“Like?” Era asked.
“Small shops, and a few houses we’ve bought and rented out to families.”
“And how much profit do they make?”
“Not much—around 500,000 to 1 million rupees monthly in total.”
“That’s not bad. How much do we spend daily on our Night Walkers?”
“About 380,000 rupees a day,” A1 explained. “That includes training, food, missions, and other necessities. Monthly, it comes to 11.4 million.”
Era nodded.
“Nice. And what about the remaining funds?”
“We donate some to animal shelters, orphanages, and old-age homes. We also rescue and feed stray animals and help people living on the streets. Apart from that, about 23 million has already gone into constructing the new N Mall in Agra.”
“So, what’s left after all that?”
“Around 10 to 20 million,” A1 replied.
“Good.”
At that moment, a knock came from the door.
“Come in,” A4 called out.
The door opened, and the weapon dealer stepped inside.
“Nightmare, this is the weapon dealer,” A4 introduced.
“Bow your head before our leader,” A3 instructed.
The man lowered his head respectfully.
“It is an honor for me to meet someone so powerful and yet so calm,” he said. “Not only that, but I am proud to be doing business with you. Ah—allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ashu. I deal in both official and unofficial weapons.”
