Competitors surge forward with a burst of speed, trying to overtake eachother. 

Paprika: Let’s stay close together!

Caelus: Right.

Paprika: Take my hand!

Caelus grabs onto Paprika’s hand, as she prepares to launch forward with her explosions.

Tanya: I don’t think so!

Ray: Are you serious? We gotta go!

Tanya: Quiet!

Tanya pulls a scroll out from her pocket, laying it flat on the ground. She a large amber crystal onto it, then presses both her hands down, chanting strange words.

Tanya: Four Horsemen Summoning Charm: God of War!

The markings on the scroll light up, and a large explosion comes out of it. Emerging from the explosion, a massive humanoid figure in a full suit of armour, riding a horse. Paprika tries once again to takeoff, but the giant swings it’s sword in the air, knocking her back with the force. 

Paprika: Gah! Dangit!

Caelus: Looks like we’re gonna have to fight them.

Caelus clenches his fists. Ray draws his sword, Tanya smirks. Ray charges first, swinging his sword at Caelus, who summons a leviathan to block it. Ray is sent flying backwards. Tanya orders her giant to swing at the ground, causing a small quake.

Caelus: I don’t think trying to destroy the big guy is gonna work, which means we have to go for Tanya!

Caelus sends three leviathan. Two coil around the giant, the other goes for Tanya. Ray steps in the way, slicing the leviathan away with his sword. 

Ray: Seriously Tan, people are getting ahead and we don’t have much time to waste!

Tanya: Shut up, i know what i’m doing! And don’t call me that!

Paprika: Alright, time for a.. super explosive barrage!

She places her wrists together, charging up explosions. Caelus rushes behind Ray, striking him with a Leviathan. Ray holds his sword inbetween the leviathan’s mouth.

Ray: A little help here? 

Tanya: Ugh, you are so useless! 

Ray: But I just saved you! 

The giant breaks free, swinging at Paprika. Caelus sends two leviathan to hold the sword. 

Caelus: I can't.. hold this much longer you know! 

Paprika: Just a little longer! 

Ray escapes the leviathan, charging at Paprika.

Paprika: Now! 

Caelus relinquishes the two leviathan, Paprika dodges the sword, and aims her hands at Tanya. She releases a massive barrage of explosions, sending Tanya, Ray and the giant back. 

Paprika: Let's go!

Caelus grabs on to Paprika, and she uses her other arm and legs to take off. 

Tanya: Rah! Go after them! 

Ray: Okay, get on! 

He equips his hoverboard. 

Tanya: That thing's too small! 

Ray: You'll be fine, Just get on! 

He grabs her and jumps on to the board.

They take off after Paprika and Caelus. 

Paprika: A lot of those other guys are running on foot, so I think we'll catch up soon!

Suddenly, an opponent appears, attacking Caelus with a strong kick. Caelus dodges, and sends a leviathan, which is kicked away. 

Caelus: Woah, is that a cybernetic leg? 

Paprika recognises him as the blonde boy who was talking to Caspian earlier, as well as being sector 2's top player, Kai Umiya. 

Kai: Yeah, it is! Thanks for noticing.

Kai lands on a giant bird that looks like a cartoon come to life. Caelus’ eye is caught by the purple streak-haired girl from earlier. 

Caelus: It's you! 

Girl: Hey again.

Caelus: D-uhh did you make that thing? 

He points to the bird. 

Girl: Haha, yeah, all it took was a few strokes.. of this!

She pulls out a medium sized paintbrush and canvas, dipping the brush into the blue paint on her palette. She furiously waved the brush along the canvas, creating a large wave of water, which sends Paprika and Caelus crashing on to the ground. 

Kai: Nice work, Violette!

They high five. Caelus lands on the ground hard, his face painted with a mixture of awe and annoyance.

Caelus: So that’s her name…

Darcy and Lee come forward on a large shadow bat, trailing after Kai and Violette. 

Darcy: Hey, nice hair. I’m a big fan of the purple.

Violette: Thanks! I really like your fashion style.

Kai: Uhhh.. am i supposed to say something now? I would compliment your gi, but i dont actually know your name and that’s kinda awkward.

Lee: My name is Lee Gantar, top student of the…

Kai looks disinterested.

Lee: Ahem. We will have to partake in battle in order to advance. Who shall be fighting?

Kai: How about you and me. 

Lee: Hmm. My physical strength versus your mechanical enhancements. This will be a great challenge. 

Violette draws a large flying beetle on her canvas, bringing it to life.

Violette: There, you can fight on this.

Lee and Kai both jump onto the beetle, and take fighting stances.

They circle around eachother, eyes watching for any sudden sharp movements. Kai stops moving and drags one of his legs slightly back. Kai launches forward with incredible speed and power in his kick. Lee notices and prepares to block with his arms. Kai’s kick sends Lee slightly backwards.

Kai (mind): Stronger than i thought..:

Lee: Is it my turn now?

He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He opens them sharply then lunges at Kai, delivering a powerful jab to his chest. He follows up with a series of more punches, which Kai fails to block. Lee then finishes off with a leg sweep, sending Kai to the ground.

Kai: Damn. You’re… cough really something else, huh?

Lee: I am not sure if that is a compliment, but thank you.

Kai stands up, and then closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, just like Lee did. This time, he crouches down slightly, then bursts forward with speed, aiming for Lee’s face. Lee blocks his face with his arms, but then, Kai quickly moves his leg down to his torso, sending him back. Lee regains his composure and takes a fighting stance once more. The both of them rush in. Kai goes for a left hook, Lee blocks it, grabs his arm. Kai goes for a fake right, then turns it into an uppercut. He grabs Lee’s shoulders, pushing himself up and delivering consecutive kicks to his stomach. Then goes for a spin kick to send him off the beetle. Lee catches his leg, then drags him, slamming him onto the ground, then he picks him back up and delivers a spin kick to his jaw that is actually successful. Kai clutches his jaw in pain. Then sighs.

Kai: Aren’t you.. tired yet?

Lee: Not even close.

Violette: Kai, You better catch up! Im gonna go ahead!

Violette turns to go forward. Darcy follows shortly after.

VA: Looks like most of sector five is falling behind! Apart from our great duo of course: Marciano and Alex! They’re have the highest chance of their sector to make it through! However, they’re not first overall! In the lead are currently, the top two members of sector three, Rheie Callisto and her partner, Freya Dragona! 

The camera switches to Freya, a green haired girl in a punk outfit with large dragon-like wings, zooming through the course and high speeds, with Rheie, her sector’s top player, riding on her back.

Freya: Things lookin’ all-right back there, Rei?

Rheie: I’d somewhat say so. Although we’re in the lead, there are many special and super-powered strangers following behind. We may have to either pick the pace up to perfection, or we are surely to be quashed quite quickly by our qualitative foes. The situation is not completely dire, however there are some factors to take into acc-

Freya: I asked for a status report, not a yap-fest!

Rheie: Oh, my dearest apologies, your grand highness, Lady Dragona~

Freya: …Shut up.

Rheie giggles. Suddenly, a loud boom is heard. Rheie turns her head to see a rock, flying towards her at great speed. Rheie ducks her head down, the rock barely missing her.

Freya: What the hell was that?

Rheie: A rock, being thrown at supersonic speeds, it appears.

Freya: Yeah, well who threw it?

Rheie looks back to see sector four’s top competitor, Brenn Dargath, and his partner, Carmen Nuñez, a tan skinned lady with long, black hair, a leather jacket and spiked accessories, riding on a futuristic-looking motorcycle.

Brenn: Darn it! Ah’ can’t see a thing with you in the way!

Carmen: What, are you calling me large?!

Brenn: Well naw, I just-

Carmen: You just what? I’m the one controlling the motorcycle, so I could kick you off if i really wanted to! 

Brenn scowls in anger. He reaches for a another rock on the ground, and places it into his pitching hand.

Rheie: Sector 4’s top player, Brenn Dargath.

Freya: The…. baseball guy? 

Rheie: Yes. And it looks like he’s going for another throw.

Brenn cocks his arm back, and launches it forward with immense power, causing a small shockwave in the air. Freya, turns down slightly, then dives straight up, flying higher in the air.

Brenn: Gah! Why do ah’ have to be the only one trying to shoot them down!

Carmen: Because i’m controlling the motor-cycle! 

Brenn: It’s hard ta’ pick up rocks on a movin’ vehicle ya’ know.

Carmen: I know, which is why i’m not going as fast i can!

Brenn reaches down, trying a few times to grab rocks, but missing. Brenn hears the sound of metal chains falling. He turns around.

Brenn: Hey, ya’ might wanna check out what’s behind ya’!

Carmen turns her head back to see Alex launching chains at the motorcycle, whilst being carried by Marciano. 

Alex: Marciano! Get closer!

Marciano speeds up. Alex launches two chains, wrapping them around the back wheel of the motorcycle. Marciano grabs on to one. Marciano pulls with force, and Alex summons even more chains, to pull the motorcycle backwards. Brenn grabs a rock from the ground, and launches it square at Alex’s nose.

Alex: OW!

He lets go of the chain. Marciano grabs the other one, and pulls both chains with all his might, slamming the motorcycle on to the ground behind him. Brenn and Carmen soar through the air and land hard. Alex clutches his broken nose.

Alex: Good job. Now, let’s claim our prize.

Alex pulls the motorcycle towards him. They both sit on it, and begin to drive away.

Carmen: Hey, hey get back here you-!

Alex: So long, rejects!

Carmen begins cursing in Spanish.

Brenn: Darnit! … So.. uhh, what now?

Carmen: Now? We’re gonna kill those two.

Brenn: Ah’ like the sound of that.

VA: Looks like tensions are rising! There are various powerful competitors, and any of them could come out on top! Could it be Freya and Rheie, Marciano and Alex?! Or could it even be a pair we haven’t yet focused on? It’s still anyones game, so competitors who are falling behind, dont give up yet!
