After the chaos at the Louvre, the gang needed a break… but Luna had other plans.
Parisian Evening, Near the Seine
The sun dipped low over the sparkling Seine River. Luna sat on a stone bench, licking her paw with her usual flair.
Suddenly, a shadow flickered nearby.
Enter Romeo: A sleek, black-and-white tuxedo cat with green eyes that glittered like the Eiffel Tower at night.
Romeo (with a smooth voice): “Bonsoir, mademoiselle. You look like you’re the queen of Parisian mischief.”
Luna (smiling slyly): “And you look like trouble with whiskers.”
The First Encounter
Romeo was charming, witty, and had the kind of swagger only a cat raised in Parisian rooftops could master.
He told tales of moonlit chases across rooftops, secret alleyway feasts, and the best places to sneak into cafés.
Luna was intrigued.
Meanwhile, Back at the Hotel
Meowster, Shadow, and Buddy noticed Luna was gone.
Buddy: “She said she was going for ‘a walk.’ I think she found a boyfriend.”
Shadow: “Romance? Typical Luna distraction tactic.”
Meowster: “She’s in trouble. We must intervene with dignity.”
The Midnight Rendezvous
Under the glow of the Eiffel Tower lights, Luna and Romeo shared:
Stories
Laughs
A stolen croissant (okay, two stolen croissants)
Romeo tried to impress Luna by climbing a nearby statue, but got stuck halfway up.
Luna couldn’t help but laugh.
Unexpected Drama
Just as Romeo was being rescued by a kind human, a loud bark interrupted their moment.
Buddy had somehow found them — dragging a leash and wearing a tiny beret.
Buddy (panting): “I came for moral support! And snacks.”
Luna’s Decision
Romeo looked at Buddy, then at Luna.
Romeo: “She’s yours. I can’t compete with a dog on berets.”
Luna nudged Buddy playfully.
Luna: “You’re lucky you’re adorable.”
Back with the Gang
The trio returned to the hotel, Luna trailing behind Romeo.
Meowster: “So, she found a Parisian Romeo.”
Shadow: “And he’s… stuck halfway up a statue.”
Buddy: “I made a new friend.”
Human (rolling eyes): “You guys sure know how to make vacation interesting.”
Some hours later….
The suitcases were zipped. The Eiffel Tower twinkled its last goodnight. Paris was preparing to sleep — but inside one cozy hotel room, a storm of emotion brewed.
Human (cheerfully):
"Alright, fluffballs, time to head home! Hope you enjoyed Paris!"
He ruffled Buddy’s ears, tickled Meowster’s chin, offered Shadow his favorite blanket, and gently patted Luna—who didn’t react. At all.
Buddy:
“Home? Home means my old rubber chicken and the backyard raccoon friend! I’m in!”
Shadow (groaning):
“Finally. I’m done with snails in my food.”
Meowster (sighing dramatically):
“I shall miss Parisian cheese, but one must return to one's kingdom.”
But Luna… Luna stared out the window.
Below, on the cobbled street, a familiar silhouette waited.
Romeo.
Luna’s Dilemma
She leapt onto the windowsill, tail flicking.
Luna (quietly):
“Paris was supposed to be fun, not… complicated.”
Romeo looked up and gave a little wink. In his mouth, a tiny wildflower.
Shadow (from the bed):
“You better go say goodbye before you regret it forever.”
Meowster:
“Or don’t. He has weird whiskers anyway.”
Buddy:
“Love is love, Luna. But we have snacks at home.”
The Rooftop Goodbye
Luna darted down the fire escape, graceful as ever. She met Romeo beneath the stars, just like they had the first night.
Romeo (offering flower):
“You don’t have to go.”
Luna:
“I do. They’re my chaos. My family.”
Romeo (smiling):
“Then I’ll stay here, waiting. Maybe one day… you’ll return.”
Luna gently nuzzled his nose. She didn’t cry (cats don’t cry, obviously). But her heart did a weird thump.
Luna:
“Keep causing trouble without me.”
Romeo:
“Only a little.”
Back to the Hotel
Luna rejoined the gang just in time to be zipped into the carrier.
Human (to Luna): “You’re such a good girl. Look at you, being all calm!”
Meowster (smirking): “She just broke someone’s heart.”
Buddy: “Can we stop for snacks before the airport?”
Shadow: “Only if it’s chaos-flavored.”
As the taxi pulled away from the glowing streets, Luna looked back once—just once—and smiled.
Paris would always be in her heart. But her chaos? It was home-bound.
