Chapter 2

Samuel brought them all to the field where they once fought a war, now their training for one.

“Alright, first I’ll teach you what I know then we’ll learn new things together. Ok?” Samuel said. They all nodded.

“So Eric, being a pyromancer I’m pretty sure you can only cast fire and lightning spells. So you’ll be training with Adam first,” both Eric and Adam nodded, “Just teach him what you know not too much.” Samuel looked to Charles, “Charles, you can do glass, light, and air spells. You’ll be focusing on light for now, so you’ll be training with Jackson. Once again only what you know and the basics.” Jackson and Charles nodded. “Carlene you’ll have to work with me, I’ll be training too. We will all also be doing small battles afterwards.”

With that they began their training, HIM was probably gaining power as they spoke so this had to be fast.

“Alright Carlene, you can do earth and plant I’m pretty sure. I’ll be teaching you all the earth I know, and we’ll be learning all the plant we can.” Samuel explained,

Carlene nodded, “How does Earth magic work though, and how does any of this magic work in general.”

Samuel nodded, “Good question, every element can have a different thing. Glass magic can do illusions, and can to combat.”

“Ok so what are you going to teach me?” Carlene asked,

“Some cool plant magic.” Samuel said

After a while of teaching each other what they knew, Samuel went to tell Sylvan their plan and to make sure the evacuation was going as planned. He then went back to his friends to teach them some more magic.

After everyone taught everyone else what they knew, they all came together to go  over the plan for defeating HIM. They could see him destroying Elflem piece by piece, but holding off. Samuel guessed he was waiting for them.

“Alright guys we all know the plan, we get him into the middle then I cast the spell to trap him into the void. For good this time.” They all nodded, “Alright Sylvan knows we’re going, he’s evacuating the school to the outskirts of the island. It’s our job to take down HIM, and the controllers.”

Eric nodded, “With these new powers I think we’re going to win this thing.”

“Remember how powerful he is, just because we’re also powerful doesn’t mean we should underestimate him.” Samuel said, everyone nodded. “Alright, let’s go.”

They all traveled to Elflem together, and when they got there it was chaos. People were running everywhere, and controllers weren’t on the side they were on before. They were also running from the giant interdimensional monster.

Speaking of which he recognised Samuel, “Ah the Master Knight, here to grace us with your presence?”

Samuel stared at him “I’m here to stop what you're doing, in the end game this world is going to die all because of you!”

He nodded, “Yes, that sounds about right.”

Eric yelled at him, “Get out of my world and our home! You have no place here!”

“Actually my place is to destroy this ‘here’ you speak of.”

“Well that’s not going to happen.” Jackson said,

“Ah the little Godspeeker, Master Knight. I thought this was between you and me, you're sharing your victory with these puny mages?”

Charles shot a blast of light at HIM, “Actually, we’re knight mages.”

HIM jumped back, “Ha, young mage you have no idea what I could do to you. Do you? I am an all powerful deity, your puny spells can’t do anything to me.”

Samuel smiled, “That’s not what I heard.” Samuel shot another blast of energy at the monster, he roared once more.

Everyone started running. Samuel ran for the middle, as his friends were running towards the sides. Samuel started preparing the spell, HIM was looking for all of them now. Not just Samuel. When Samuel completed the spell he activated the rune. Creating a trap spell, under HIM. He was the one who needed to get to it though. Samuel cast water chains to try and pull the monster down, Adam then appeared next to him and did the same. HIM noticed this, and tried to break free but his friends were running all around the city making sure he was distracted. HIM stared at the spell, and at Samuel. He shot a blast of energy at the spell, destroying it. Everyone stared, Samuel and Adam lost focus on the water chains.

“Ha, ha. You thought a small spell like that would stop me?” HIM went down and became the size and height of Samuel to talk to him, “You really think that a small spell like that would stop me? That same spell has been used on me a thousand times over, and it’s never worked. Your powers can block out mine, but mine in return can also block out yours.” Samuel looked at the ground where the spell once stood, and fell to his knees. HIM laughed, “Yes! Now it is time! The world shall now burn!” Him opened a dimensional portal above them, and crawled his way inside. Samuel looked at it in anger, and flew into it. Hearing his friends yelling his name.
