Chapter 8

Tarin ran to the bank, but before he could go into it Dr. Myer yelled at him on the intercoms,

“Red Dash, STOP!” Yelled the doctor, Tarin immediately stopped.

“Ow!” Said Tarin, the sound had pierced his ears.

“Sorry!” Said the doctor, “I just wanted to point out that you could just sneak in with Green Gadget, and then catch them off guard.”

“Everyone I fight is caught off guard.” Tarin protested.

“That is true,” Said someone in the room, but the doctor took over again.

“Use Green Gadgets invisibility.” Said the doctor, Tarin was surprised.

“How do you know that? That’s highly classified!” Said Tarin.

Colton came over the coms, “How do you know about that?”

“I’ve been studying you and your team, multiple occurrences have happened at Genex when things are stolen or floating. I traced down all the possibilities.” Said the doctor apparently thinking that was all he needed to say.

Tarin saw Colton swinging on a lamppost and landed right next to him, “Ready?” asked Colton. Tarin nodded. Colton disappeared and a second later the robber was on the floor, with Colton coming out of invisibility. “Ok, maybe Myer's a good guy.”

“Have I proved my worth?” Asked Dr. Myer.

Tarin turned to his friends, “If you continue to help us, and you don’t betray us. Yes, you can stay here and help us take down Dark Dash.”

Max came over the intercom in Tarin’s suit, “Do we tell him our identities?”

Tarin turned to Max, “Well, to answer your question.” Tarin pointed to Max, “Yes, it’ll be hard to work together without it.”

Dr. Myer looked confused, “What are you talking about?”

Tarin turned to Dr. Myer and deactivated his nano-suit, showing his face. “Hello Dr. Myer, my name is Tarin Jacobs. If we’re going to be working together, might as well know who we are right?” Tarin’s friends slowly took off their masks introducing themselves. They got Dr. Myer, who they decided to call just Myer, his own place to sleep.

“Thank you.” Said Myer, “I can’t wait to get started with this, how are we going to take down Dark Dash?”
