Chapter 5

Varzoth stood at his throne, tired from the day. He helped rebuild walls, and create more housing for the place. He knew something else was coming though, and it came at the worst time ever.

His friends walked into the room, Lilith was in a dress and Varzoth couldn’t help but blush. They were all wearing something more formal than before, but right when he was about to compliment them all someone else chimed in.

“Greate ending you two.” Said a voice that Varzoth didn’t much like, but couldn’t help being mystified by. His friends jumped at the sudden appearance of the Master Knight, a human from another dimension. “Seriously, this multiverse business is coming together really well.”

“What do you want, Master Knight?” Varzoth asked, annoyed.

Lilith and the others were looking into the shadows where the Master Knight stood, “Who’s that?” Lilith asked, clearly annoyed as well.

Varzoth got up, and walked to the magician. As did the Magician. “It’s good to see you.” Varzoth lied.

The Master Knight nodded, “I know you're lying, but that you, it is a pleasure to finally meet some of you all in person.” He turned to Varzoth’s friends, then to Lilith. He bowed. “Your Highness.”

Lilith’s eyes shot open, and she shook her head. “No I’m not… I’m not really the…” She seemed at a loss for words.

The Master Knight waved his hand, “Give it a few years, now to what I’m here for. I need you four to come with me.” He pointed to Baal, Malakath, Selene, and Zaroth.

Lilith walked in front of them in a fighting stance, even though Varzoth knew she probably couldn’t fight in her dress. “Not while we’re still rebuilding, we need people like them.”

The Master Knight nodded, “On that note, being the ‘people like them’ part. The multiverse needs them a bit more, I’m looking for teachers for my school that they have been to before, and I was thinking that with their specialties they would be some of the best.”

Varzoth sighed, “Lilith, I know I am the Emperor now. That means we have to deal with him.” The Master Knight nodded, “That means they get to come back whenever they want though right?”

The Master Knight nodded, “Of course.”

Baal, Malakath, Selene, and Zaroth started walking to the Master Knight. Then Selene turned to Lilith, “We have been talking and we thought it would be cool to go back, we already know a lot but it would be good to know more. We could also send some other demons to the school while we go.”

Varzoth looked to Lilith, “It’s your call.” He said.

Lilith looked skeptical, but she sighed. “If they want to go they can.”

The Master Knight nodded, “Four more classes down, and I hope to see many more Demons at the MDSC.” He pointed to Varzoth, “And for you to be at the meetings.”

Varzoth nodded, “I shall.”

The Master Knight nodded, “See you all very soon.” With that they all disappeared in a flash of light.

Varzoth turned back to Lilith, “So, your Highness?”

Lilith waved a hand at him, “Be quiet.”

From a spec of darkness an eye peaks through to see what the world is becoming. “So, there shall be more than before. I should do the same.”
