Nimji carefully explained the situation—about the Hantens and the potion and their adventures—every single detail.
“Andddd… you want my help. How exactly am I help? And did you guys even think if I would say yes or no? Come on, you’re warriors—do better,” said Eonji.
Nimji looked down, then said, “Don’t speak to my friends like that. Say that to me—after all, it was my idea. So… will you help us or not? If not—we’ll figure something out… without your help.” He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, waiting for an answer.
“Okay, Mr. Attitude—I’ll help, jeezzz,” said Eonji, giggling.
They all started doing rehabilitation training and getting stronger. Bit by bit, they began to improve. Eonji was helping them train, pushing them day by day.
Though they had been hurt and tired, they didn’t give up. Every day, they trained hard, pushing themselves a little more, healing and growing stronger.
Somji focused on her flexibility and core strength. Nimji trained his strength and breathing. Kimji strengthened and sharpened all her skills equally.
“ALL RIGHT PEOPLE, FOR YOUR LAST TRAINING SESSION—WE ARE GOING TO FOCUS ON YOUR FOCUS AND BREATHING TECHNIQUES. THIS WILL HELP YOU SUMMON YOUR CHIKARA WHEN IT’S TIME!” said Eonji.
“YES, SIR!” said the trio in unison—half sarcastic.
“Now take a seat…”
They all gathered outside in Eonji’s front yard. A cozy rug had been spread out beneath them. The soft green grass peeked through the yarn of the carpet like sunrays breaking through a cloudy sky.
The ground felt inviting—the grass lush and velvety beneath them, almost begging them to lie down and rest. But there was no time. They had to keep working hard.
“Alright, close your eyes and focus on your core. Feel it. Twist it, shape it—mold it to match your strengths. Now, shift your attention to your breathing. Inhale deeply in two parts… exhale slowly. Follow this rhythm. It’ll help you start manifesting your powers. Two deep breaths, then let them out—huff and puff. This sets the base. It will help you unlock your Chikara later on,” said Eonji, sitting across from the rug.
It was peaceful, easy to focus… but they had to be prepared to do the same in chaos.
Without warning, Eonji banged on trees with axes, swished around bushes, clanked rocks, and made loud, irritating noises.
Their eyes started twitching, and their breathing fell off rhythm.
“FOCUS! YOU CAN DO IT! Inhale deeply in two parts… exhale slowly. FOLLOW THIS RHYTHM!!” said Eonji, still making noise.
Slowly, their breathing returned to rhythm—inhale, inhale, exhale.
“GOOD. NOW, THE NEXT STEP IS TO FOCUS ON YOUR CORE! MANIFEST YOUR POWERS! UNLOCK YOUR TRUE POTENTIAL! YOU CAN DO IT!”
Soon, something unusual happened. Their eyes opened—the pupils were gone.
Nimji’s eyes glowed a light orange. Somji’s eyes shimmered light green. Kimji’s eyes burned red.
The same hue started to swirl in their stomachs like mist.
The mist floated away from their stomachs, twirling back into their chests.
