I don't mind the fact that he's a capable child. With his background in the martial world you would expect him to have training in survival, breathing techniques etc. The story title describes him as a 'genius'. So we should expect that! The title is a big clue.
Having a good memory & a natural ability for martial arts doesn't make him ridiculously OP in this kind of story. He actually struggled without food for days & poisoned himself at one point. Without having such abilities he's not likely to have survived his experience in the mountains or escaped assassins. For the plot to continue, he either had to be very able or meet someone who helped him. A random saviour is even less likely than an adept MC.
When young Hahyeon Shin’s mother sacrifices herself to give him a chance to escape the family she married into, he finds himself alone in a hostile world. His only goal is to find his mother’s family, the House of Namgung, and train in martial arts to avenge her and become a protector of the innocent. But when he is tested by the Namgung family, they discover that he is a martial arts genius with a perfect physique and the potential to become the greatest martial artist who ever lived.
