Chapter 4

Johnathan ran through the halls looking for someone to ask for directions, eventually he ran to the bottom floor, but still found no teachers. Probably doing some kind of magic thing. He bumped into someone, and dropped his comic, which broke soon after. He was startled by it but started to grab the comic pages one by one. Then when he looked up he saw seven figures much bigger than him, with their school bags given to them.

He put his hands up, “I don’t want any trouble, I just need to get by.” He said, quite scared. These people looked scary, and were probably really experienced with magic.

“Trouble?” Said the man in front, “We’re not trying to give you any trouble, sorry for bumping into you. I’m a new scholar,” He held out his hand, “What’s your name?” He asked.

“I’m Johnathan.” I said, starting to relax around them.

“Sorry we just got here, and we’re just taking it all in. It’s good to meet you, also you know the superhero group who call themselves Xeno Force?” I bolted up a bit, but probably not enough to notice. His friends started to giggle, I couldn’t tell why exactly.

I nodded, “Ya I know them.”

“Who’s your favorite?” The man asked, “I don’t know about you, but I think Red Dash is pretty cool.”

I smiled,  “He’s my favorite too! He’s probably one of the fastest known warriors in the multiverse!”

The man smiled, “Well it’s nice to meet you Johnathan, my name’s Tarin. I’m the leader of Xeno Force, also known as…” The man clenched his fist and electricity started to build up in his hand.

Johnathan started putting the pieces together, “Red Dash…” Johnathan finished, “How? When? You're the coolest superhero ever! When did you get here? I need to ask you so many questions!” The bell sounded, he sighed. Knowing what that meant. “I have to go, it was an honor to meet you.”

“It was an honor to meet you as well, see you around in school?” Tarin asked.

Johnathan nodded with excitement, “Can’t wait.” He heard one of the girls, one with pink hair laughing, but Johnathan didn’t care. He’d just met the Xeno Force, in the flesh! He couldn't wait to tell Albert.

Getting over his daze of amazement, he ran through the halls and up the stairs two more times. When he did he was faced with a big open area, with many big rooms. He was pretty sure he saw the cafeteria, and hoped to grab some food later. Then he ran into a room that had a giant stone eye on the wall, seeing the Master Knight once before he guessed this was his office. He knocked on the door, and it opened immediately.

“Ah, Johnathan. I’ve been waiting.” Said a white haired man standing on a tall podium with a desk on top. “We have much to discuss, as you cannot choose classes without your class.”

I nodded, “Ya, it’s kinda annoying. So what is it? Illusioner? Fire mage?”

The Master Knight shook his head, “You have confidence to speak to me that way, but I shall still tell you.” The master Knight floated down from his desk and snapped his fingers for his book to follow, “Through all my research of magic I have found many elements to use magic with, one is most notable than any other. Reality.”

Johnathan nodded, “Ok, but what does reality have to do with me?

The Master Knight smiled, “Everything. Your magical makeup has the ability to control no physical element we see, but your magical makeup has the ability to control dimensional magic instead. Basically every element that controls the elements.”

“So, what does this mean?” Johnathan asked.

“It means that your studies will be monitored thearoly, you are able to control three elements. You may learn any others you decide, but you can only use three.”

Johnathan nodded, “So I’m super op?”

The Master Knight smiled, “There is more to magic than power child. Like I was saying before, you are able to control three elements. Time, Space, and Reality. All very powerful, but we shall not be giving you the ability to control reality magic. Yet. You shall choose forbidden magics for a class if you wish to learn more, but you may not learn how to control it.”

I nod, “So who are my teachers going to be if I’m one of the only people who can do that magic?”

The Master Knight nodded, “You're a child with good questions. I for one shall be your teacher, and all of my good friends shall as well. Mr. Liberta, Mr. Parks, perhaps Mr. Arragon and Ms. Hatcher. Other than those though, I shall most likely be your teacher.”

I nodded again, “So, I’m good?”

The Master Knight nodded, “Yes you are, but I must warn you not to use your powers childishly. Understood?” Johnathan nodded, “Well then, off you go. You have classes to choose from and in the morning you shall begin, good luck.” Suddenly the door closed in front of Johnathan’s face, and he looked around. He shook his head and went back to his room, where he found Albert with a floating paper and a pen checking things off.

Albert smiled when he saw Johnathan, “So how was it?”

Johnathan shrugged, “Turns out I have a strange magical makeup and am able to control time, space, and reality itself.”

Albert nodded, “So that’s why they chose you.”

“I guess so.” Johnathan looked to his bed to see the same floating paper Albert had and went over to look at it, “What are these?”

“Class choosings. Our electives.” Albert said.

Right, Class choosings. The Master Knight had warned him about this. “Got it. Do you have a pen?” Albert threw him a pen.

“Just give it back when you're done.” Albert said.

Johnathan nodded and started checking off his electives, he immediately found the Forbidden Magics class the Master Knight had told him about. It said it taught you about all of the forbidden magics in the world, including Dark, Spirit, Death, Poison, Bloob, Starfall, and Reality. He went down the list and found some interesting ones, he found Time and Space and checked both of them off. Then he just checked off what he thought would be cool, Light, Magic Combat, Illusions (Suggested by Albert), Gods, Alchemy (Also suggested by Albert), Beasts, and Knowledge. When he was done the paper folded up into a letter, and flew away.

“So, whatever we put on those things are going to be our classes?” Johnathan asked.

Albert nodded, “Well that and more. There’s classes like, History, Classes, Social Studies, Physics, Races. Those kinds of things. Our classes are going to be the ones we just chose and the needed classes.”

Johnathan nodded, and started getting ready for bed. They had two separate bathrooms from each other which was good, they also had perfect systems for TV. Johnathan spent a bit of time on that, watching Harry Potter, which Albert said was just plain out wrong. After that they finally went to bed, and Johnathan honestly couldn’t wait for the next day.
