Sure you all knew about romance story, right? Well… Some of us like it and some prefer other genre.

Romance story include two main lead, and sometime writer would add another lead. Typically this second lead would incite a burning desire in us audience. One that known as second lead syndrome… Cause second lead always have better chemistry and personality yet never got the protagonist.

However, there also romance in which there are more than two lead made for the protagonist. Harem or reverse harem… Sometime three, sometime four… Sometime the whole village… At least not the whole population… Not yet so far…

What am I getting at?

You see… I’m a reincarnator…

I had live a fulfilling life before dying from illness. Never would I have guess I would be given a second chance.

Just… When I got into high school, I kind of get a feeling of deja vu. But couldn’t click on it yet.

That was until I met him.

On our last year of high school, he transferred from another school at the beginning of the year. The third male lead of a trashy reverse harem novel. I said trashy cause the protagonist didn’t chose anyone and remains in an ambiguous relationship with all five leads. Plus no character development and no emotional attachment.

This third male lead had an ex before meeting the protagonist. Apparently… that’s me.

Somehow after what happened with his ex, his character setting worsen and became a playboy who only had relationship with benefits. He was never loyal to any relationship he got into. Until he met protagonist. That’s how his setting goes.

Except, I don’t understand how his character setting changed. Cause I think he was already like this before getting into a relationship with me.

I guess you could never truly took what written in a novel by heart. Not all author could created a story with no loopholes.

That was that…

Although I believe what happened to ‘me’ in the novel would never happen to me in my reality, fate had a different twist.

After all the effort I took to make sure he and I would not crossed path as much as I could, our classmate set us up together. And he even went along with their idea!

I wanted to refuse so bad, but I don’t want to create another possibility of him being attracted to me who show blatant disinterest in him.

You know… like those story when male lead fell for protagonist for treating him differently. That would be so cliche!

‘Alright…’ was how I replied when he asked.

I really want to slap myself, him and our classmates. Even more so after being with him for a weeks.

I applaud myself for being able to stand his narcissist persona this whole two weeks and three days. Well, I kinda snapped in the end.

Can’t help it. Really. He kept on saying things like it was a given that I fell for him when I don’t. Even though I don’t and I won’t. I mean, he was not my type.

I prefer older man with tan skin and deep voice, whereas he… He got a look like a young idol with wheat skin and boyish voice.

After we broke up… I’m not really sure whether we’re in a relationship or not, but at least I did end it.

Well, after we broke up… He kept his presence around my vicinity. And after a month or so, he suddenly started approaching me.

“You know… I’ve been wondering. Why didn’t you became the class monitor despite being the vice president in the student council?” he suddenly said as he interrupted my afternoon break.

“Why should I?” retorting his question.

“More point? More achievement to write down on your resume? I don’t know. Whatever benefits you got…”

“No. I have no interest bearing responsibility more than I am able to.”

“Hm… Is that why you don’t want to take responsibility?”

“Ha? What for?”

“Me.”

“What?”

“You didn’t take responsibility for taking my attention.”

Just like that, he would suddenly appeared and spouted nonsense. Things I could not comprehend. I wonder if he was trying to piss me off.

Must be. He must be having fun teasing me. I could imagine him laughing as he watch my reaction.

Every morning, he left a candy or chocolate on my table. During afternoon break, he would come and have his meal with me. His gaze was disturbing.

Because of that, my friends who usually hang out with me in the afternoon was nowhere to be seen. It seem that they thought we were having a quarrel and he was trying to mend things up.

When the class end, he would escort me from our class until the bus stop. With that, my days in school began with him and end with him too.

Even when I reprimanded him, he kept doing it. Was this because I snapped that day? Are we going for the ‘you the first person to show me hate’ kind of route?

I regretted my action. This had been going for two whole month. I’m already going crazy.

Now everyone been labeling him as my lover. Not only I don’t want to be involved with character that brought doom to me, he just…

He was simply not my type!!!
