Yosh came downstairs. "Merry Christmas, everyone!"

Lucy woke up and came downstairs herself. "Now, it's time to open gifts." She opened a gift from Yoshida; it was 100¥. (He gave the same amount to his dad.)

Yoshida opened his gifts with speed. For Christmas, he has Pokémon toys, some gift cards (to McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Papa Johns), some Pokémon cards, a Bowie kinfe (from his dad), some chocolate, and some Pokémon movies.

Kwesi has some Pokémon cards, some gift cards to restaurants, some chocolate, a Blue Exorcist video game (fictional), a clean Tupac CD, some chocolate, and a Dutch-English dictionary.

 May knocked on the door, Sakura Pepsi in hand. Yoshida opened it. "Merry Christmas, May! What's with the Sakura Pepsi?"

"It's for you. Merry Christmas!" She gave him the soda drink. "Ayumu said he was gonna come by to give you a gift. I think he said he wanted to give you a gift card. He's with his girlfriend and daughter now."

Ayumu was with his girlfriend Sakaki. They were eating a big Christmas dinner of KFC chicken, potstickers, fries, KFC hot chicken, gammon, mustard potato salad, and figgy pudding. Rukia's gifts were clothes, Pokémon cards, Disney movies, Dungeons & Dragons stuff, candies, money, and a tin of popcorn.

Sakaki was gifted a diamond ring and some money. "You gonna go see Yoshida?"

Ayumu's gifts were a leafblower, some vinyl records, a toolbox, a Guang's gift certificate, a McDonald's gift card, a Hungarian cookbook (from his mother), money, and a hurdy-gurdy.

"Yeah. My daughter wants to go with me though." Ayumu picked her up and put her in the car. "We'll be back by dinner." He drove off.

Yoshida and Kwesi were playing UFC 5. "I'm using my fighter I made up," Yoshida said.

Kwesi dug into his chocolate. "I'm picking my fighter as well." Kwesi's fighter has an afro; Yoshida's looks just like him.

Kwes sighed. "I'm glad to play games with you. Good thing you don't work today."

"But I go back tomorrow." Yoshida threw a punch at Kwesi's character. "Also, can your character grapple? You're gonna need it because I'm coming for ya!" A knock was on the door.

Yoshida paused the game and opened the door; it was Ayumu and Rukia with a gift. "Hullo, Y-Man!" he smiled. "This gift is for you."

He opened the red box. "Oh, it's a Walmart gift card. Kinda feel bad I don't have a gift for you..."

"It's fine. Anyway, I gotta go--my girlfriend has dinner waiting for me. Later." Ayumu got in the car with his daughter. 

Yoshida looked at his card. "Wonder if I could find MMA stuff there? I need some stuff to help with my training." He sat next to Kwesi and resumed playing UFC 5. "I'm beating you," he playfully taunted as his fighter is kicking the living tar out of Kwes's, then he finished the black guy off with a head kick!

"Dinner!" Lucy called. 

Yoshida and Kwesi rushed to the table; the table had crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Grandma's borscht (she and her husband were there as well), shashlyk, kimchi, squid ink noodles, salad, chocolate cake, banoffee pie, and mixed berry varenyky.

Grandma gave Yo and Kwes some money (200 yen). "Thanks, grandma!" they said, taking the cheese from her. 

Yoshida piled his plate with everything but the salad and banoffee pie. "I'm gonna enjoy this." He started eating like he's been starved for a long time!

Kwesi put everything on his plate and started noshing like his bruh. "I'm gonna enjoy this!"

"So, how's school?" Grandma Svetlana asked the two.

"I have a girlfriend now," Yoshida replied. "We started dating in August--she's a keeper. Her name is May, and she cares about me! I also got into some fights."

Kwesi chimed in, "I got into one fight with a kid who called me a kurombo."

"Ah, my young scufflers. So, I heard Yoshida wants to compete in MMA. Is that true?" his grammy asked.

"Yes, ma'am. I have a Dick's Sporting Goods gift card; I could get my MMA stuff!" He grabbed another shashlyk and started ravenously eating the meat and fat off a metal skewer.

Grandpa gave the two kids some money; it was 50 yen each. 

Yoshida went upstairs. "After my chores, I'm going to bed. I'm bushed."

May and Ayumu started opening their gifts. May has a Growlithe action figure, some chocolate, a cookbook, a tin of butter cookies, and clothes. 

.....

After cleanup, Yosh went in his bed. "I'm bushed, and I haven't done much today..." He started texting his girlfriend, "We just had dinner."

"Same," she texted back. "We went to Ayumu's house though."

"Kwes and I played UFC 5, then we played Showdown. His team consists of Weezing, Falinks, Maushold, Arcanine, Skeledirge, and Mega Ampahros. I swept him with my Haxorus and Mega Charizard X."

"Oh, I wanna battle you! How does Showdown work?"

"All you need is an internet connection, an account, know-how on which tier you wanna battle in, and know-how on which Pokémon you're using." 

"I might use it. Anyway, gotta go to bed--I have an appointment tomorrow."

"Night." Yosh hung up and went to sleep.
