Sunny's Garden:

I was on the beach with Tulip and my parents, and her moms, and things seemed to be going really well. The sun came out and it got really hot, so I took off my shirt. And I thought maybe she would look at me? I was all ready to defend my honor, at least a little bit. But instead she didn't even notice. And she left her shirt on, big oversized cotton, and got overheated. She had to go sit in the shade for a while and drink some water, and she spent a really long time in the bathroom. I think she got sick, cause she had to ask for her mom to go in with her. My parents raised their eyebrows at that, and were wondering what was going on. They weren't sure if Tulip was a boy or a girl, and I've been deliberately avoiding the subject (>:3 silly me). But when she came out, she didn't want to hang out anymore. So I sat on the beach by myself, and doom-scrolled. It sucked. This vacation seems like it's off to a dull start, and I'm wondering if I did something wrong... or if I brought the wrong person. I did end up having a nice chat with two older men, they seemed interested in my studies. It's nice to know people can be civil even to complete strangers.
