Yume Zion
Yume stepped into the dim lighting of the club Dark Eclipse, the familiar scent of magic and supernatural beings mixing with the pulse of intense music that echoed through the walls. He'd been here before—a few months ago, with Kasu by his side. But now, it was something else that had drawn him back.
It was Asmodeus—the demon of lust, forbidden knowledge and manipulation—who he couldn't get out of his thoughts.
His heart pounded in his chest, and a mix of nerves and desire filled the air as he made his way through the club. There he was, seated at a corner table—Asmodeus.
The handsome demon with golden eyes that shimmered in the club's flickering lights. His hair, wild black streaked with violet, cascaded down to his shoulders. He wore black jeans and a sleeveless striped top in black and purple, echoing his hair and dark aura. He sat there, speaking with someone, and just the sight of him sent a burning heat through Yume's chest.
As Yume approached, he caught the sound of Asmodeus' voice—low and cold.
"We had our fun, Kyrin. But this game is over, and so is my interest in you."
Yume watched as the vampire Kyrin stood up so abruptly that his chair fell to the floor behind him.
"If you say so. Farewell." The vampire shot one last glare at Asmodeus before vanishing away out from the club.
Yume knew this was his chance now or never. He took a deep breath and stepped closer, his heartbeat syncing with each step.
Asmodeus' eyes locked on him as he approached, a smile tugging at his lips dangerous, enticing.
"Oh, little fox," he purred, voice laced with sly amusement. "Didn't think I'd see you again so soon. Come, let me buy you something?"
A chill ran down Yume's spine, but he managed a response.
"I'm good, thanks... I was actually hoping to find you here. I wanted to ask if I could stay in your demon realm for a while."
The words were hard to say, but once spoken, a strange sense of relief washed over him.
Asmodeus studied him with that intense, unyielding gaze that made Yume feel both nervous and drawn in.
The demon leaned forward slightly, his voice softer now.
"Of course you can. I can take you there right now, if you'd like."
His eyes sparkled with something dangerous, something Yume knew would change everything.
He reached out a hand, and Yume took it his fingertips trembling briefly as their skin touched. It was like touching fire and ice at once. He wanted to be close to him, but a part of him feared what the cost might be.
They left the bar, the two demons stepping out into the night. Far beyond the human world, toward Asmodeus' domain—a place Yume knew would change him forever.
Everything he'd felt before, all the uncertainty in his heart, suddenly seemed to fade.
He was walking into a world that was as perilous as it was seductive a world where Asmodeus held all the power.
And though Yume had no idea what awaited him there, he had never felt more alive.
They arrived in Asmodeus' realm, cloaked in a smoky haze that made it difficult to see more than a few meters ahead disorienting, like the very fabric of space and time was unraveling. Hours could pass like minutes, while moments stretched into eternity.
Asmodeus' domain was a place of allure and danger a realm where every desire and emotion could be fulfilled, yet just as easily twisted and destroyed. It was a reflection of the demon himself: a balance between darkness and mystery, beauty and dread.
The garden's ground was carpeted with flowers—black petals edged in crimson or glowing violet, as though they absorbed and reflected the secrets and cravings that lingered in the air.
The blooms, dark as gemstones, never wilted. They radiated a soft, hypnotic light in the twilight, as if each one contained secrets never meant to be revealed. They felt like lost souls—souls consumed by their thirst for forbidden knowledge, a beauty that belonged only to those willing to risk everything for power and mystery.
Yume gazed at them, thinking to himself, "Of course Asmodeus would surround himself with something like this. Flowers that only thrive on darkness and forbidden truths. I wonder what they're really hiding."
Asmodeus looked at him with a faint, almost playful smile, and extended a hand. Yume took it, his touch brushing against those cold fingers with surprising tenderness. It was a moment that felt intimate—real.
Yume felt safe with Asmodeus in a way he couldn't explain, as though he'd been caught in a trap made of his own emotions. His heart beat a little faster under the weight of Asmodeus' gaze—one filled with curiosity and quiet, invisible power.
"It's like I can't escape anymore," Yume thought.
"Hmm, I don't want to get lost in your garden," Yume said lightly, his tone almost a mask for some deeper worry. "It's... pretty big."
Asmodeus smiled, his eyes glowing faintly with something equal parts seductive and dangerous. He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on Yume's cheek—a kiss so gentle and warm that, for a moment, Yume felt completely safe. As if nothing could hurt him while he was near this demon.
"You're mine, Yume," Asmodeus whispered, voice low. "And I won't ever let you go."
But deep down, Yume knew he couldn't lose himself here. He didn't want to let go of Kasu—not entirely. Kasu was his friend, his closest one, and the feelings he held for him couldn't simply be erased. They were complicated and painful, but still real. Yume knew he couldn't stay in Asmodeus' realm too long—he was afraid that if he did, he'd lose himself completely.
Asmodeus led him to a grand room—wide and open, the marble walls shimmering faintly under the crimson glow of torchlight. The walls were etched with ancient runes that pulsed violet and black, like the soul of the room itself was alive. It was a reflection of Asmodeus—both stunning and perilous.
In the center stood a long table, set for two—an invitation to dine, to linger, to fall. Yume frowned slightly as he took in the dark violet hues covering the room.
"You really like purple, huh?" he said, his voice carrying a trace of dry humor.
Asmodeus chuckled softly and pulled Yume closer, his hand settling on Yume's waist like a promise of something more.
"Purple is beautiful, but not more beautiful than you," he murmured, brushing his fingers against Yume's cheek.
"You're what completes me, Yume. Not these colors. Not this place. Just you."
Yume felt the heat of Asmodeus' body, his nearness, and struggled to focus on anything beyond that unexpected closeness. When the demon pulled him into an embrace, Yume closed his eyes for a moment—just a moment—to let go of the distance he usually kept between himself and others.
"How long do you want to stay with me?" Asmodeus asked.
Yume hesitated. His heart quickened at the thought of leaving.
"I... I don't know. I have to return to Kasu's realm in two weeks. Not that I want to, but... he's getting married."
Asmodeus' arms tightened around him, his fingertips brushing softly along Yume's skin with delicate concern.
"You don't have to go to his wedding if you don't want to. Just because you're his guardian doesn't mean you have to stand by and watch him give himself to someone else." He rested his head gently against Yume's. "I want you to stay here. With me."
Yume looked up at him, eyes full of uncertainty and emotion he couldn't fully name.
"I have to go back, Asmodeus. He's my best friend. I can't abandon him."
His voice was soft—but firm.
Asmodeus sighed, his expression shadowed by a pain he didn't bother to hide.
"You're in love with him," he said, his voice low and dangerous now. "But he doesn't love you the way you deserve. I can give you more than he ever could. I can give you every kind of love, every pleasure and craving you could dream of—if you become my lover."
It was a desire just as intense as Yume's fear of losing himself. His gaze flickered away, and he shifted slightly in Asmodeus' arms—not to leave, but to collect himself.
That was when Yume realized—he had a choice to make. A choice between the friendship he had with Kasu and something dangerous, seductive, and irreversible with Asmodeus. And Asmodeus looked at him with that glowing intensity in his eyes—like he already knew this was the moment he might win Yume forever.
Yume's heart beat faster. His hands felt slightly cold as he held on to Asmodeus.
The words that escaped his lips felt surreal—like a dream. Part of him could hardly believe he was saying them. "I... I could be your lover."
It sounded like both a risk and a surrender—but also, strangely, like freedom. He was tired of hiding his feelings. Tired of carrying his loneliness like a curse. Maybe this—this pull toward Asmodeus—was something he could no longer resist. And maybe... he didn't want to.
He hesitated for a moment, his voice low and nervous as he continued, "But I have to tell Kasu that I'm staying in your realm. Will you come with me?" His gaze was filled with uncertainty, as if he expected Asmodeus to say something that would make him regret it, to back out of his choice.
Asmodeus looked at him with a seductive gaze, his eyes filled with desire, passion, and a promise of something more. He leaned forward and gently placed a hand on Yume's neck. His voice was calm as he replied, "Oh darling, you don't need to be nervous. There's nothing I want more than to be with you." He pulled Yume closer and embraced him, and the warmth that spread through their touch was like a fire that made everything else disappear.
Then, without another word, Asmodeus bent down and kissed him on the lips. It was a kiss filled with longing, but also a promise of something much greater. For Asmodeus, this was a beginning, not an end. It was as if every kiss, every touch, was part of something bigger—something he knew Yume hadn't yet understood.
Yume felt his heart beat faster as their lips met; the intense feeling was both wonderful and terrifying. His body, his mind—everything seemed to respond to Asmodeus' presence. It was as if he could no longer resist it. In Asmodeus' embrace, the world suddenly felt much smaller, much more manageable. It wasn't just passion burning inside him, but also a deeper sense of need—a need to be loved, to no longer be alone.
When the kiss broke, Yume looked up at Asmodeus, his face a mixture of uncertainty and anticipation. But Kasu... he thought. Will he understand? Will he be angry?
But deep down, Yume knew something else had shifted inside him, something he could no longer ignore. He was no longer the demon he once was—the one who lost himself in loneliness and duty. He was somewhere else now, somewhere he could be who he was without feeling trapped by his own feelings.
"Asmodeus..." Yume said his name as if it were both a question and an answer at the same time. "This... I know it's dangerous, but I feel like I have to do it. Maybe because... I don't want to be alone anymore. I've always felt lonely when I'm with Kasu. Especially now, now that he's going to have a child with Selene... I don't know how to feel." His voice was soft and filled with doubt, but also something else—a sense of freedom he had never felt before.
Asmodeus looked at him, his smile gentle but tinged with a certain triumph. "I understand, Yume. And I will be here for you. You're not alone anymore. Not when you're with me." His words were both a promise and a prison—a trap Yume felt more than willing to step into.
"Come," Asmodeus said, reaching out his hand to him. "We'll go to Kasu. Let's get this over with. But remember, this is your chance to be with me."
Yume looked at Asmodeus, and for the first time in a long while, he felt that maybe he had made the right choice. It was risky, yes but also an opening to something new. Holding onto Asmodeus' hand, Yume felt the future—whatever it might bring was something he was ready to face with his whole heart.
