"Doctor? Is the young master okay?" The young lady, who I don't know if she's cosplaying as a maid, asks this old bald guy, who I assume is the doctor.
"I'm sorry, but why do you keep calling me young master, miss?"
The maid exchanges looks with the doctor. Did I say something that I shouldn't have? These people are acting strangely. Is this heaven? I remember reading my favorite novel before they killed my favourite
Now that I really take in the view of the room that I'm in, everything is so, how do I put it, extravagant. It screams Western medieval, but at the same time, it has a touch of modern ambience to it.
"Young Master, could you tell me your name and age?" The doctor asks.
"Okay, ummm..." What's my name? "Ouch! My head."
My head is throbbing like crazy, it's like two people are talking inside my head. It's too much.
"I...can't...my head hurts!"
Just then, the doors to the room that I'm in are pushed open, and a middle-aged man whose face is covered in a beard. That face seems familiar, where have I seen it from? His face is blank, portraying no emotions. Beside him is a lady who somehow feels familiar.
I remember now, I saw them dying, but they are here in flesh.
"Mom? Dad?" The couple stops walking and stare at me as if seeing me for the first time.
"Young Master?" My reunion with my parents or the people who look like my parents is halted by the doctor, " Do you know their names?"
Names? Why can't I remember their name? I know they are my parents, right? I nod my head. The doctor lets out a long sigh and looks at the couple with apologetic eyes.
The lady, whom I assume is my mom, walks up to me and takes my hand in hers. She looks at me with so much sadness and, at the same time, relief. I notice the eye bags under her moss green eyes, her raven black hair, which is in contrast with the white hair the man, I assume, is my father has.
"Son, can you try to remember my name? You called me mom earlier, please?" She half begs, and my heart breaks for her. I want to try, but if I do, my head is going to hurt, so I just nod and look at the doctor for an explanation.
"Doctor, how's my son?" The man I assume is my dad, I don't know.
"It seems the young master suffers from amnesia, though this is the first time I've seen a patient who has selective amnesia. It's clear he knows you're his parents, but your name, he doesn't. Also, if he strains himself too much, his head hurts. I would recommend taking it slow with him. Overall, he'll remember everything with time. Don't rush it."
My father then walks out of the doctor, I'm pretty sure there's something the doctor didn't want to say in front of my mom, if I'm not wrong.

Before his death, Ezel had been Aiden Light's supporter in real life and had always berated the writer for making Aiden suffer innocently, when all he wanted to do was be loved, and he was always misunderstood.
