“…” May couldn’t even speak, she was too nervous. Everyone was eating their lunches, acting like nothing was happening at all, but they knew damn well what was happening, and May wanted to cry from the humiliation.
But finally, she could mutter something: “p-please…stop…”
But that was her mistake as Sora always liked everything that went according to his plans, but since May defied him and told him to stop doing what he liked to do, he was furious.
“Who told you that you could talk to me like that, huh? Do you wanna get beaten up and expelled, you friendless piece of trash? You do know that my family’s one of the richest in Japan right? That means I can do whatever I want, and you can’t stop me.” He told her carefully with an angry glare.
The room went silent as he told her that.
“Keep eating you bastards!” He yelled to every student inside the classroom, his voice echoed even through the hallways where the teachers could hear him, but no one came to check up on the classroom.
May just wanted this whole day to just end; she just wanted to go home. She doesn’t want to go to school anymore. She hates her life. First, her older brother was revealed to be emotionless, and Yuki told her that he didn’t care about her anymore, and now, she was getting bullied and humiliated.
“I…I-I am sorry, Sora… please forgive me…” she said. She doesn’t want to be expelled, even though she hates school; she couldn’t get a career if she got expelled even once. And she also didn’t want to get hit.
“That’s more like it. Maybe it’s because of you that your mom and dad died, it’s probably because you're too stupid, too handful, maybe the car crash was intentional because they never liked you. Well, they deserved to die anyway, I bet they were pigs."
It was the end of the school day, and May was relieved that she could go home now. As she was about to leave class, she felt a tap on her shoulder, it was her teacher.
“The principal called me and said that he would like to meet you in his office.”
May was surprised, why did the principal need her in his office? She didn’t do anything wrong. But she walked to the principal's office to see what he needed her for.
As she walked inside the office, she saw him sitting in his chair.
“Please take a seat, May.”
May sat on the chair in front of his desk, wondering why he had called her into his office. Was she in trouble? But May never did anything wrong.
“You're suspended…for 7 days.” Those five words made May’s heart drop, why was she suspended?
“Wait what?”
“You heard me, you are suspended, May Shirogami.”
“Wh-why am I suspended? I did nothing wrong!” She said in a little loud voice.
“You're suspended because you have been severely bullying Sora Tsukikage, the school boy at the same grade, age, and class as you. And he also has evidence to prove it. Take a look at this.” He slides her his phone, which has her messages and which were sent to Sora, sending death threats and other messages to Sora.
May couldn’t believe it, who edited her name on those messages?
“Please believe me, I’m being falsely accused!”
“Then why is your name on those messages?”
“I…I don’t know…”
“Exactly, now go home, you're suspended for 7 days.” He said with a serious face and voice.
“Yes sir…”
May went back home to the apartment. When she opened the door, she saw Yuki greeting her, but she was too upset to care.
“Welcome home May!” Yuki said with a bright and friendly smile, but she noticed something was wrong, something off about May. May walked past her without saying hi back. May wouldn’t usually do that. Even on May's worst days, she would still say at least a hello back.
“May? What happened at school?”
“… got suspended for 7 days…” said with a tired and upset expression and voice.
“What!? 7 days!? 7?! Why?!”
“Someone… or rather… My bully, Sora Tsukikage, falsely accused me of bullying him when he was the one bullying me…”
“…” Yuki was quiet. She couldn’t believe it, May getting bullied? She thought May was such a lovable girl, but why was she getting bullied? “Why are you getting bullied, May? Did you do something that made him want to bully you?”
“No, he came from a very highly wealthy and influential family, so he thinks he can do anything he wants… and also sad that my mom and dad never loved me, and that’s why they died…” May started to tear up a little, she felt so hopeless, getting suspended as well, too. She can’t do anything to help herself.
That’s when Yuki hugged her. It was unexpected for May, but she leaned onto her, crying softly. “I’m sorry for being so weak, big sis… I’m so sorry…”
It’s fine, I’m here aren’t I? We’re family now. Your mom and dad are now my mom and dad, and I don’t believe they died because they don’t love you, you're very lovable, and you're the best little sister ever. Just go to bed now, I’ll find a way to unsuspend you.” Yuki said with a small smile, patting May’s head a little.
May nodded slightly and went to brush her teeth and then she went to bed. When May was out of sight, Yuki dropped her small smile. She never expected May to get bullied, so because of that, Yuki was now filled with rage.
Yuki knew bullying was bad, but she never thought May’s bully would bring up their dead mom and dad, and make fun of them too. It’s too cruel, that’s not what a normal 13-year-old would say to another, it’s too heartless, and Yuki’s heart was filled with rage.
At that time, Yuki was so angry that her power spiked up and multiplied; it was a rage boost. The whole house was shaking, but May thankfully had already fallen asleep, and she was a deep sleeper, so she didn’t notice the shaking.

I was at a hotel with Ai. He had just booked a room for us when I felt a little shake. I thought it was an earthquake for a second, but it kept going. Then, Chikou detected something.
“Rei, a large power level has arisen from Tokyo, Japan, and it is at your apartment. Power level: 200,000, and still rising. The power source is from… Yuki Nakamura.”
