Welcome to the Keep Knight Data paper. Not a story—just fragments, quick notes, a little open introspection. 

Runi: 5’2 (157.4cm) Tall, about 140lbs (63.5kg) 

Her armor is light, consisting of padding, chainmail, a cuirass, a helm, and Gauntlets. This allows her to keep a consistent pace while fighting, but at the expense of protection. She is partly based off of Vikings. She’s a bit of a foody and quite the cook, this is due to her amazing sense of smell, developed because her hearing is stunted. The palace was actually quite loud in some places, but she was unable to tell exactly how loud.

Note: Runi’s name is meant to be read and pronounced as “Rune-eye”

to anyone curious, the guardians can fly, but don’t because their armor is too heavy. 

Rihya:  7’4 (223.5cm) Tall, about 273 lbs (123.8kg)

Her armor is heavy full plate, about 80lbs, and is particularly difficult to remove over her wings, tail, and horns. To combat this, the pieces of the helm slide over the horns from the sides of her face, and her armor overall is custom-made and particularly round, allowing for much better impact force distribution. Before standing guard, servants often helped her equip her gear. Rihya is Stern and a bit of a stiff, but cares for her sister, and they’ve been close ever since they were little. Rihya also loves babies and children in general, which is why she’s so fierce.

Note: Rihya’s name is meant to be read and pronounced as “Rye-Ah or Rye-Yah”

Bell: 6’9 (205.7cm) Tall, about 219 lbs (99.3kg)

Her armor is heavy full plate, about 61 lbs, and is particularly difficult to remove over her wings, tail, and horns. The pieces of the helm slide over the horns from the sides of her face. Bell is shy and playful, and only became a guard to chase after her sister, worried that she would fall in battle; she is the kinder of the two.

Michael: 5’11 (180.3cm) Tall,  about 163 lbs (73.3kg)

Michael is Runi’s husband and a doctor from his home village and is known to be quite calm. He excels in his profession and is a renowned freelance physician, having performed miracles that have gained him recognition across the countryside of his home country in the human world.

The beast: 12 ft tall in total (3.65m), about 5236 lbs (2375kg)

They are the palace pet and guardian, and were heavily inspired by the kangal, the name for this beast is an Oxwolf. 

The Vessel has 138 flowers on their wings

Their larynx is ethereal and distinctive. When they speak, it’s heard internally, not externally, so it’s only heard by the person they’re talking to, they’re fur and wings also absorb most of the sound they make. Which is why they're so quiet. The operating room with the surgical table in the lower part of the Palace, while used to help its residents and provide them aid, is also a place of research. The Vassel is quite special there and is handled with care, as they are indeed the lifeblood of the palace. Bell once carried the child down there when they scraped their knee, she collected a sample of their blood before tending to them and carrying them back upstairs. Rihya initially wanted to do it, but the child said she was scary, so Bell took her place.
