Two older ladies are seen holding hay brooms sweeping and chatting.

“Have you heard? Bai Chun that favored orphan of the village head is doing well in the village school and plans to take the Local exams to try and become an official.” One of the ladies said as she swept some dust and dirt to the side out of her courtyard.

“Really? So now what I heard makes since now.” The other lady said.

“What?” The other asked. The second lady looks around before whispering over to the first.

“Well I heard the village head got Tao Fang engaged to Bai Chun.” She said with a smile.

“Oh wow village head is as smart as always tying down to Bai Chun before he becomes too famous.” The first said in shock before smiling and nodding her head.

“Well, that is true but guess what I heard as well?” The second lady said grinning.

“What else?”

“Well village head gave him a plot of land and is paying for Bai Chun’s home to be made on it.” The second lady said her face still showing how shocked she felt when she first heard it. The first lady looked shocked.

“Wow village head is really trying to make sure Bai Chun will favor his daughter even when he brings a lot of concubines in.” The first lady said with a smile appreciating how smart the village head is.

Village Head’s Home

Inside a room there is two girls one slightly older than the other. One girl is blushing heavily while the other is smiling but in her eyes there is an angry look.

“Tao Chun, I didn’t realize I would marry before you.” Tao Fang said while holding her blushing cheeks, her eyes glinting with mockery. Tao Chun’s eye twitched at what she said but still held her smile showing a happy expression.

“Well, it’s perfect since all it takes is a smile to make a man fall for you.” Tao Chun said slight mockery heard in her tone. Tao Fang pauses before letting out a tinkling laugh.

“Well, that’s true but it’s taking longer for you to get a husband due to your strong personality.” Tao Fang said with a smile. Both girls sit there smiling at each other as their eyes glare at each other. At that moment the door opens, and their Muqin 'mother' walks in with a smile. Both girls stand and give a slight bow.

“Muqin.” They both say. Tao Ming looks at the two of them examining their expressions and their bodies.

“Look girls I know you both love Bai Chun and I thought about it and talked with your Fuqin 'Father'. I will help Tao Chun become Bai Chun’s concubine since Tao Fang is to be the main wife.” She said looking at the two. Tao Fang had a flash of astonishment and annoyance on her face.

“What? Really Muqin?” Tao Chun asked with an expression of happiness.

“Yes, but you must do as I say.” She said with a stern expression. Tao Chun nods her head.

“Now you need to find a chance before the wedding to get alone with Bai Chun and try to seduce him into kissing you and even better touching your bum got it?” Tao Ming asked looking at the blushing expression of Tao Chun who nods while covering her mouth.

“Great try not to get too far into it since I will have your father come and catch you both and have Bai Chun bring you in as a concubine.” Tao Ming smiles as she looks at Tao Chun’s expression who nods once more.

“Muqin why can’t I just bring her in as my dowry?” Tao Fang asked looking angry.

“I won’t have Tao Chun become a maid who must spread her legs when Bai Chun asks. What if he refuses to promote her to a concubine? No, I refuse to let that happen.” Tao Ming refuses quickly before ending the conversation.

“Remember what I said and make sure to do it got it?” Tao Chun nods once more her eyes glinting as she thinks about Bai Chun. Tao Ming’s eyes glint as she smiles while looking at both her daughters.
