A cold wind blowing from the dark, gloomy forest wakes Eat, who had been unconscious.

Someone floating in the air at a distance so far it cannot be measured was watching and observing everything.

He fires a pink beam toward the spot he was watching.

That thin ray of light, astonishingly precise, severed the giant Barak’s arm in a single stroke.

Wearing a brown eagle cloak, he muttered to himself, satisfied with the result of his long-range shot.

“I aimed for the head…”

Then, all of a sudden, he moved toward where Eat was at an incredible speed.

The brown cloak speaks to a dark purple cloak that was already there. "Yo, you ready? Let’s finish this quickly. Lord Polun is coming." The purple cloak is preparing three spheres of energy, emitting a sinister blackish-purple glow. "Ready!" [He glances at the Barak]

The Barak, completely distracted by tormenting Eat, did not sense that Olpin had come close.

But the moment their eyes met with Olpin, they froze instinctively—like a frog meeting a snake.

Dod: "O… O… It’s Olpin!" [He screams]

Purple cloak: "There’s no time. Lord Polun is coming. So disappear, you insects!" He simultaneously launches the three prepared spheres toward the Barak.

The spheres draw arcs as they fly rapidly toward Mond and Dod.

Mond and Dod tremble in fear. Dod, who can fly, quickly spreads his wings.

And with all his strength, he shoots up high into the sky.

Watching Dod, Mond reaches out, envious of his wings. "What are we supposed to do…" But Dod has already flown far away.

At that moment, sensing Mond’s danger, the giant Barak—Ugu—runs without hesitation and shields Mond with its own body.

Mond: "Oh dear, Ugu… what are we going to do now?" Ugu: "Ugu… ugugu…" When the first sphere explodes on Ugu’s back shell, a pillar of light shoots high into the air.

Touched by that light, Ugu feels extreme pain from deep within his body.

Watching Ugu, whose bodily fluids spill out like tears, Mond feels a heart-rending pain, as if his chest is being torn apart.

Ugu, as if prepared for death, looks at Mond with sad eyes.

Seeing this, the purple cloak grows very flustered and stops moving.

Normally, when Barak sense danger, they are busy ring away or hiding.

Because of that simple behavior, to the Olpin, Barak are seen as beings no different from ordinary insects.

Maybe that is why Ugu’s sacrificial act shocked the purple cloak so deeply.

Even in extreme pain, Ugu’s behavior—protecting Mond to the very end—made the purple cloak think, ‘Why?’

Gathering strength in both hands, he tries to change the trajectory of the third sphere. He wanted to cancel at least the third sphere.

The second sphere had already touched Ugu’s tail and exploded. Now Ugu no longer had the strength to scream.

But he did not try to run away—never.

The remaining third sphere’s trajectory was forcibly halted and altered by the purple cloak’s power.

With the condensed energy of that brief stop, the sphere surged into an explosive speed and shot up into somewhere in the night sky.

And from the direction the sphere flew, soon after, far away, Dod’s scream could be heard. "Nice shot~" ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢

After the study room lesson ended, the children

are gathered at a place inside the village where a stream used to flow, but is no longer used.

The children are explaining ‘story play’ to Rogi.

Today is Dabi’s turn for the story, and the story’s title is 「Space Hero」.

Right now, this story is right before the ending, and the role of the Space Demon King is taken by Leo and Eli.

The remaining children, as Space Heroes, were riding powerful robots and continuing the final battle with Leo.

They couldn’t finish the ending due to time, and they said today is the final chapter.

Rogi: “Okay, I understand up to here. Then what do I do?”

Dabi: “Yeah! When we start the story, Rogi, you immediately go behind us to the place I just said,

find the battle suit and put it on! The equipment…”

At Dabi’s rushed explanation, Pai added words for a detailed order.

Pai: “Wait! Before we start, we have to open the story door. The command to open that door is ‘Dotori.’”

Rogi: “Dotori? Is it ‘Dotori’ because this is Dotori Village? hehe”

Yona: “‘Dotori’ is our code, combining Dotori and story. Before we start, we have to shout ‘Dotori.’”

Rogi: “Aha~ So I just have to shout ‘Dotori’?”

Yona: “The name of the command to open the door is ‘Dotori,’ and when you open the door…”

Pai: “You just have to shout ‘Doritori Toris’!”

Rogi: “What are you talking about now?”

Leo: "It’s our code.”

Rogi: “I see……. To open the door, I have to shout ‘Dotori,’ and ‘Dotori’ is ‘Doritori Toris.’”

Eli: “Then let’s just start. You’ll learn faster while doing it.”

All together: “Okay! Then we’re starting! Now, everyone, take your positions on your own~”

The children move busily. They say each of them has a position.

Leo and Eli, as the Demon King team, ran to the opposite side, facing the Hero team.

The remaining children were moving to suitable places, to hide behind imaginary~ destroyed structures that could not be seen.

They just thought it was nothing. But only Dabi laughed unusually loudly, then

Pai: “Dabi, stop it!”

Dabi: “Ahahaha~”

Rogi suddenly stops walking… She looks like something upset her.

Then.. she throws the pot she was wearing on her head toward Dabi and shouts.

Rogi: “What! I’m not doing it! I’m not going to do it!” [Throwing the branches she was holding too]

Then without looking back, she runs off somewhere, shouting.

Rogi: “I’m leaving—play by yourselves!”

The children looked at Rogi with worried, regretful hearts.

Even then, Dabi picked up the pot, still clutching his stomach laughing, and started laughing again.

Looking at Dabi like that, Pai’s anger surged.

Pai: “Dabi, I told you to stop!!” [She shouted louder]

Dabi: “Huh?”

Dabi couldn’t understand why the kids were looking at him with resentful eyes.

Why is this happening? Dabi looks confused. Pai began to press Dabi.

Pai: “How can you laugh until the other person feels bad? Do you have any thoughts, or not?!”

Leo: “Dabi, you went too far. What are you going to do now?”

Eti: “Oppa, you’re seriously the worst~”

Dabi: “Huh? What did I do wrong?”

Pai: “What did you say?”

Sensing that Pai was truly angry, Dabi began to run away from Pai.

Chasing Dabi, Pai started yelling wildly.

Pai: “Dabi! I won’t let you off if I catch you~”

Dabi: “Ah~? Why are you doing this to me~”

The children are looking at Dabi pitifully.

…No one wanted to help Dabi.

They just wanted Dabi to get caught quickly.
