A few weeks later, everything gradually returned to normal. I was still a girl thanks to the system, but the bond between me and my roommate had become stronger than ever. We went to school together, joined dormitory activities, and even cosplayed together… but now it was fun, without the pressure of missions anymore.

One afternoon, we sat on the rooftop, sipping tea and watching the city lights slowly turn on. My roommate held my hand and smiled:

“In the end, everything turned out fine. The system can’t decide what real feelings are.”

I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder:

“Yeah… no matter how many troubles we faced, we got through them all. And most importantly… we have each other.”

[System]: Mission complete! You may return to your real gender or keep things as they are.

I looked at my roommate, thought for a moment, then smiled:

“Whatever you want, but… I choose to stay with you.”

He laughed brightly and pulled me into a tight embrace. At that moment, I understood: happiness didn’t come from following missions or changing bodies, but from true feelings, genuine care, and mutual trust.

And so, we continued our life together—no more fear, no more misunderstandings—only sweet, warm days by each other’s side.
