"Don't let them attack the people!" The soldier shouts.

When he turned around, there was an Abyss that wanted to eat him. But in an instant.

SLASH!

In the blink of an eye, the Abyss in front of him was cut up like minced meat. When the soldier opened his eyes he saw Reika swinging her katana to clean up the blood.

"Human..?" The soldier said.

"They are on our side."

Alucard came and helped the soldier up. Katsuragi followed and took out the Soulsreaper Scythe and rested it on his shoulder.

"Alucard, please take them away. We want to do some cleaning work for a while." Said Katsuragi while smirking.

He then walked over to Reika.

"So.. how do you want to cut it? Cut it into small cubes or chop it?" He asked.

Reika replied, "You talk more than you act. But if you ask me, it's better to just cut it into small pieces."

"Alright. Small cubes then."

Katsuragi and Reika released Mana energy from their bodies indicating they were charging their strength, and then...

FWOOOSH!

They both used Hundred Steps to move quickly to finish off the attacking Abyss.

Reika quickly eliminated several Abysses roaming the residential area by slashing and stabbing them.

SLASH!

SHHK!

Meanwhile, Katsuragi in another area quickly slashed the Abyss, using the power of the Soulsreaper Scythe to absorb their souls and made a powerful impact.

WHOOSH!

"Woohoo! Nice try but the truth is, you're just mindless subordinates. Except for your leader, yeah."

ROOAR!

Even so, he still exterminated the other Abysses. Until he saw a shot fired towards a high-ranking Abyss.

BOOM!

Katsuragi looked back and a blonde woman slowly landed. Her pupils were red and she was wearing black clothes, which had a symbol like the family crest.

"So you're the human that Alucard brought here.." She asked.

"And you must be the queen. Alice Von Valenfort, Did I guess the name correctly?"

Alice Von Valenfort. Katsuragi's guess about the woman was correct, that she was the queen of the Valenfort Kingdom.

She smirked, "Yes, I'm amazed you were able to guess me with one try, considering the fact that you're only human."

Several Abyss attacked, but Katsuragi and Alice attacked back simultaneously. 

WHOOSH!

Alice hit them using telekinesis then combined with Katsuragi's attack using Soulsreaper Scythe.

SWING!!

Meanwhile, Reika was still quickly finishing off the other Abysses. She tried to find the source of where they were coming from without stopping, until she saw a crack in the narrow part.

"Found it." She whispered.

She immediately went there, but then a spear was thrown at her. Reika immediately dodged the attack, and to her surprise she saw who the spear belonged to.

In Reika's heart, her feelings were mixed when she saw that person. Feelings of guilt, regret and sadness appear. Remembering a tragedy she had experienced.

"It's impossible... you're dead, I saw you fall into that hole."

Someone took back the spear.

"It's been a while, Reika.." She said.

Reika couldn't say anything. She just saw that her friend had become a different person.

Her outfit looks like a princess', with an aggressive pattern and dominant colors of black with red patterns. She wears some protection on her legs and arms.

"I-I'm sorry... Sara." Reika apologized. To the woman in front of her named Sara.

Sara just smiled sweetly, she then walked towards the crack. But she stopped for a moment and looked at Reika.

"I've got what I want here. There's no point in continuing the attack. And Reika, do you still remember your promise?"

Reika was stunned for a moment, but she answered the question. "Yes, I still remember your promise."

Hearing that, made Sara a little relieved.

"Okay, please take care of my little brother, and don't tell him about this."

Returning to Katsuragi, he pulled out both guns and started firing. One of his guns was thrown away due to the strong pressure caused by the high-level Abyss.

However, Alice immediately grabbed the gun and shot straight at the high-level Abyss's head.

BANG!

"A solid shot." Katsuragi complimented Alice as he took his gun back from her.

Reika then returned to Katsuragi and noticed Alice in front of him.

"You must be Queen Alice. Nice to meet you."

Alice smiled, and then.

"Arrest them."

In an instant, they were both handcuffed by the guards. Making Reika stunned.

"Eh?"

"As I expected, we were handcuffed." Katsuragi replied.

They were then sent to Valenfort Castle. When they arrived inside, Alice stopped walking and ordered the guard.

"Release them."

"Yes, my queen." The guards replied.

The handcuffs on Katsuragi and Reika were removed by them. Looking confused, Reika asked, but was stopped by Katsuragi.

"There must be a reason you let us go. Let me guess, because you saw me using the power of 'Authority', right?"

Alice looked at Katsuragi seriously. Then she sighed.

"It seems you already know."

She then asks Katsuragi to follow him.

"You follow me. And as for your friends, don't worry. My butlers and maids will provide good hospitality."

Katsuragi just nodded and followed Alice. Meanwhile, Reika stood there doing nothing until she asked one of the butlers.

"Do you have a training ground?"

Somewhere, Katsuragi and Alice stopped in front of a locked iron door.

"Well, I want you to try to open this door. Only people who use the power of Authority can do that." Alice said.

"Oh? This iron door? Well, I'll try."

Katsuragi stepped forward, while Alice smiled behind him. When he had just grabbed the door handle, suddenly...

BANG!

The door made a strong impact that caused Katsuragi to be thrown from the door. And caused him to fall backwards hard.

"HAHAHAHAH!! OH MY GOD, YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR FACE WHEN YOU WERE THROWN." Alice laughed out loud.

Meanwhile, Katsuragi looked annoyed and got up, then replied.

"Haha, very funny." With a tone that showed he was a little embarrassed.

After laughing, Alice finally opened the door with some kind of key.

"I lied, this door can only be opened by a descendant of Valenfort like me, we are able to make a key for this. Lost it? Make another one."

They entered the room, the walls were filled with ancient writing that could not be read.

"What is this?" Katsuragi asked.

"This is an ancient inscription carved by the Arbiter. You're an Authority user, aren't you supposed to be able to read it?" 

Alice stopped and took an artifact from the display, The artifact is in the form of a katana sheath

"This is an artifact left behind by the Arbiter. He said that someone who wields the Arbiter's power in the future deserves it. It's part of his sword."

When Katsuragi touch the katana sheath, a sudden, intense feeling of dizziness struck.

"Argh.."

"You okay?" Alice asked.

Katsuragi exhaled. Then looked at Alice.

"No. Do you think I'm okay? After being hit with the memory from the Arbiter, do you think I'm okay??"

He stopped talking for a moment. Trying to think of something. Finally, after looking back at some of the Arbiter memories that he got, he asked..

"So... you and your people were brought to this world by the Arbiter so that humans or the Abyss wouldn't hunt you down, is that right?"

Hearing that, Alice's face turned more serious.

"It's true. We were slandered by your people, the humans. That we were in league with the Abyss and helped them expand their territory. We were almost hunted by them."

She walked towards Katsuragi slowly.

"But the Arbiter stopped them. He brought us here, and taught us to evolve. And eventually, we no longer needed human blood as a source of food. There are fresh fruits and meat here." 

She smirked then continue,

"Fresher than the source of food in human realm. Don't believe me? Why don't you try one?"

"Maybe next time."

"Great, so you got what you wanted, please go away." Alice said.

She then pushed Katsuragi out of the room from behind.

"You've found the artifact that the Arbiter left behind and that will help you, right? You must also know how to return to the human realm."

Katsuragi stop and turned around.

"Wait. I'm not here because of this ancient thing, but I consider it as a bonus."

Alice looked confused. If Katsuragi wasn't here for the katana sheath called the artifact, what exactly did he want?

"So, what's your purpose coming here?" She asked.

Katsuragi just smiled a little. Then replied,

"I'm here to talk to you. About an agreement, which benefits you and your people. As well as myself. Do you want to hear the agreement?"
