-"Where is he ?!"

-"Oh, my dear son. How could he disappear ?"

A family of elves and human lizards worries, running and panicking inside a mansion, the place they are in shows that these people are rich. They are looking for someone who seems to be their only kid. They have been doing that during the whole morning, for multiple hours. Their son, indeed, disappeared during the morning while everyone was busy working or distracting themselves. One of them, who seems to be the father of the one they are all looking for, decides to open the entry door, announcing, before stepping outside of the place :

-"I'm going to warn the authorities ! They'll find him back !"

Right after saying that, the human lizard is already outside of the house, here everything is way more noisy than inside of the mansion, which was already unusually loud and animated. The human lizard looks around to find the quickest way to the city centre but the only thing he can see for now is a lot of people, mainly elves, walking around. Some are on their way to work and others are just spending their free time outside of their home. Despite the street being full of people, he still manages to circulate freely, he is indeed used to move around crowded places.

The streets the lizard is walking on are the streets of Ahulia, the capital of a kingdom named Ahulia as well. The story behind that name is pretty short, it is said that the creator of the land first named only a point to build a city on it but got scolded afterwards for not naming an entire kingdom so they just decided to keep the same name as the first city created, out of laziness.

While his father went outside to warn the authorities, the one who disappeared and who is named Symone, is wandering in the city, exploring it for the first time ever. Symone never went outside of the family's house, he is in fact forbidden to do such a thing because of the danger the outside represents for the young adult. Symone escaped from the family's house because he wanted to see the world from a young age, so after studying the kingdom's geography for a bit he decided to go in order to start his journey to Golden Hook. A pirate city. Symone knows that it is a pirate city, he first chose it because he always wanted to try being a pirate, to be free and go on adventures, then because the city is pretty far from the capital, so he can travel far away.

Symone is now in the city's big open-air market located in the very centre of the capital. The young adult takes some time to curiously observe every one of the stalls in this place. By the way, he still doesn't know that his whole family, and even more, is actively looking for him. Symone had no thoughts about them or no regrets when leaving the house during the morning, he just went out with the only objective to travel to the pirate city.

After trying some free samples on some of the stalls, going from food to perfumes and even colouring powders. Then he arrives at a stand and reaches his hand in order to try out one of the product but the merchant suddenly and instantly scolds him, slapping his hand :

-"What are you doing ?! If you touch it, you buy it ! That's how it is here !" She exclaims.

The young man flinches and immediately takes away his hand from the stall. He takes his hand out not because he lacks money but out of fear, he is not used to getting yelled at, especially by some strangers. Symone walks backward, almost bumping into more than one person, then he continues his way, walking straight on the path, still observing the stalls but this time his hands are glued to his body so he doesn't touch things anymore, kind of scared to be scolded once more.

While Symone started his adventure all alone, his father did just warn the authorities, it didn't take that long. The authorities laugh hearing that the lizard's 21 year old kid went away from the house. Why would someone even worry about their major kid living their life away from their family ? The authority agent keeps on refusing to help the poor lizard man, so the latter has an idea, he searches for something in one of his pockets, after a few  seconds, he takes out a few golden coins and talks :

-“I beg you, take my money and find my son ! Please !”

The authority agent takes a look at the money the other one is handing him, then he decides to take it while talking :

-“Alright, since it seems extremely important for you, my colleagues and I will do our best to find your son.”

That is, in fact, the only reason the authority agent accepts to help the human lizard, just because the lizard man gave him money.

After that,  Symone’s father walked out of the place the authorities work in to walk straight to the city centre, in order to join the open-air market. The human lizard first thought about this place since there are a lot of people there, so his son might be curious about the various people there. The lizard man finally reaches the large market, Symone is actually in here as well but a bit farther. Talking about Symone, he is really recognisable from afar, because of his long golden coloured hair, his light green skin and a long tail which has the same colour as his skin.

Symone is also a half-lizard, that is why he is in supposed danger alone in the city because they are indeed not really welcomed in this big city, despite some living in here but for now Symone only had people reacting positively to his beautiful face and hair. The half-lizard also has to be really careful about his surroundings if he wants to keep a certain freedom because he is now searched by his father and the authorities, they are both actively looking in the entire city.

While wandering and searching in the market, Symone's father almost lands his eyes on the young man but happily, or not, the human lizard is being called by one of the merchants, trying to sell him some precious trinkets. The merchant knows that the one they called is rich, they indeed can see it with the lizard's expensive clothes in which they notice a lot of really expensive pieces of fabric really well sewn with golden threads and rare pearls. They catches his attention :

-"Hello mister ! Please take a look at this beautiful merchandise !"

The green one takes a really quick look at the stuff the merchant is selling, despite mimicking being interested in those items by shaking his hands when seeing shiny trinkets disposed of on the unstable wooden table. The old lizard sees some jewellery and gems glowing under the bright sun, he obviously can't resist in front of expensive things, like any rich person, he needs to show his wealth by buying extremely expensive yet useless things. So he spends a few minutes there.

While his father is busy, Symone is still curiously yet carefully looking at the stands. Some merchants call him trying to get his attention but they're only failing. After walking a few more metres in that big market, Symone finally approaches one of the stalls by himself, looking at interesting and curious items :

-"Excuse me, what are those items ?" The half-elf carefully points at the items with his green index, making sure to not touch the things he is designating.

After looking for something in some crates, a small faun turns around, in front of the really tall half-elf and just answers honestly :

-"Oh, those are just trinkets."

The small one hands him a really intriguing object right after answering. Symone hesitates a moment, then takes it to observe it more closely. He questions again :

-"Where are those trinkets from ?"

-"From Hooves Village, that's where I live !" The small faun is happy to hear that someone is curious about the things he sells.

Symone slightly ups his head and says, looking at the merchant really curiously and almost exclaiming, still having the item in his hands :

-"Is that true ? This is amazing ! I never left the capital..." He ends his sentence with a sort of jealousy, losing the huge smile he had when he started talking.

-"You really never left this city ?" The smaller creature's eyebrows tilt, surprised. He continues "You look rich, I think you can afford travelling".

The elf thinks for a short moment, inspecting the merchant's stall and the merchant himself. While observing the small faun, Symone notices a detail, two scars on the young faun's chest but the elf doesn't pay any more attention to it, thinking those are warrior's marks or something similar to that. Then he says, avoiding the question that was asked to him without really noticing :

-"Actually, my biggest dream is to go away from here, to go on adventures. I have read in books that Golden Hook is a nice place to go on adventures since it is a pirate city. Could you take me there ?" He asks not knowing that Hooves Village and Golden Hook aren't geographically close cities, so it might be a bit difficult for the faun to lead the half-elf to the place he wants to go.

The faun is destabilised by what Symone just requested him to do, so he answers :

-"But, we don't know each other. I don't think it's really safe to go so far away with a total stranger.”

-"Then, let's get to know each other ! My name is Symone Nehemiah, what about you ?" The half-elf says without losing any time. He is indeed really excited about going to places that he doesn't know and exploring all the different possibilities of this kingdom.

After hearing the tall one's name, the faun's eyes widened. The small one reacts this way because of the name "Nehemiah", in fact, the Nehemiah family is pretty popular in the entire kingdom. It is in fact thanks to Symone’s aunt, she is reputed to be the best doctor of the entire kingdom. So the faun instantly thinks that if he gets to know Symone better and if he eventually becomes friends with him, it could be beneficial to him since he thinks he could pay a bit, or a lot, less to see the best doctor of the kingdom.

-"Nehemiah ?!" Then he talks normally and more quietly "Oh, uh, yes of course. I'm Ywain Fertuitus, a simple merchant, as you can see with all those beautiful products."

After introduction himself, Ywain notices a woman standing right besides Symone, she observes the merchandise with attention so the faun energetically talks :

-"Ma'am ! Please come closer and see those magnificent items ! They all come from the splendid city of Hooves Village ! Plus it is super cheap !"

Symone steps and bit away to let the woman approach the stand, he observes attentively one of the numerous sells made by Ywain, the green elf is impressed by the faun's natural skill in commerce and negotiation. The end of the afternoon comes pretty fast. Symone wonders where he is going to spend the night ? How will he feed himself ? He doesn't know where to find places like that and doesn't really know how to do things by himself. He has always been served by people, thanks to his parent's wealth.
