Boss guy: Now, everyone, you shouldn’t try to escape. Even if you do, no one will be able to find you. We have taken all your personal devices to stop you from contacting anyone. Do you all understand?

Jessie, Jenny, Emma, Stephanie, Olivia, Sofie, and Luna: (nodded)

Boss guy: My two recruits will take turns watching over you while another person enters the room. You might immediately realize who she is.

Stephanie (thought): Is the third person her? Who can it be?

Boss guy: Well, I need to go upstairs to run some errands with the third person. Enjoy yourselves, girls! (Evil laughter)

[Before the boss guy exited the basement, he told the evil boy and girl to take off the tape from all the girls' mouths and to take turns if they had to go to the restroom. The boss guy then left the basement and went upstairs where Caroline was waiting for him.]

Evil girl: I apologize, girls, but this is going to be painful for you all.

[Evil girl removes the tape from each girl's mouth one at a time and returns to her original spot where evil boy was standing.]

Sofie: Oh my gosh! That feels much better; I felt like I was suffocating under that tape.

Luna: Shh, Sofie. Why do you have to be so loud?

Sofie: What? That tape has been choking me ever since we were taken. Plus, I can’t feel my hands or feet since we’re all tied to a chair.

Luna: But, Sofie, you should keep your voice down.

Sofie: Are you bothered by my loud voice? I know whoever is upstairs can hear me. HELLO, I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME. I AM NOT STUPID.

Luna: Sofie, please be quiet. You’re going to get us in more trouble.

Stephanie: Luna is correct. Sofie, keep your voice low.

Sofie: WOW! So suddenly everyone is siding with her, it's hard to believe.

Emma: Sofie, what's your problem with Luna? She hasn't done anything to hurt you, except for shushing you. Why are you acting so soft?

Sofie: Am I a softie?

Emma: Yes, a softie. The only reason Jessie invited you is to fill Caroline's spot, not to take over. Caroline has been with us since middle school, and it seems like you want that kind of influence.

Sofie: So? Just because Caroline has been friends with everyone here doesn’t mean she’s that important to all of you.

Jenny: How can you say that, Sofie? You don’t even know Caroline well.

Sofie: Oh really? Has she ever mentioned to you all that she almost stole the boy I like? Has she ever shared that with you?

Evil girl (thought): So that’s what Caroline mentioned to me a few hours back regarding this Sofie girl. She’s truly revealing her real self. If she were here and listening to this, I would really enjoy witnessing a confrontation.

Jenny: No, she never mentioned that because we know it’s completely false.

Sofie: Do you have any evidence for that?

Jenny: Um, no.

Sofie: Then, don’t claim it’s true.

Olivia: Girls, please calm down for goodness' sake. Has Jessie woken up yet?

Jenny: No, she’s still sleeping. I believe she was knocked out completely.

Jessie (slowly waking up): Where are we?

Olivia: Jessie, thank goodness! Where are we? That's a good question. We were all kidnapped and now we're trapped here in the basement.

Jessie: In the basement? No, I have to get out of here. I need to return home before my sister notices I'm missing.

Evil boy: I'm sorry, but nobody is leaving or escaping from here per the boss's orders.

Jessie: Why can’t we get away?

Evil boy: Honestly, I have no idea why.

Jessie: Can I at use the restroom?

Evil boy: Yes, you can, but the evil girl will escort you and wait for you outside.

Evil girl: Alright.

[Evil girl unties Jessie and follows her to the restroom, standing outside the door in case something occurs.]
