Eunji was gripping the ceiling handle with both hands for dear life even when the van had stopped in front of a mansion. She was breathing fast and eyes dilated from the wild van ride.

“We’re here,” Maria said and shut off the van. Eunji looked at Maria with wide eyes and Maria just looked confused from the fear on Eunji’s face. 

“I’m not going for a car ride with you ever again.” Eunji said before stumbling out of the van. Eunji put her hands on her knees and felt like she was about to throw up but didn’t.

Eunji finally gathered herself up and looked upon the mansion they had stopped at. It looked to be neoclassical style and just like the style was meant to remind Eunji of ancient Greek and Roman architecture. The most noticeable was the glass dome on the roof and Eunji could guess it was a greenhouse of some sort.

“Welcome to the den, the den of Olympia Pack, your pack.” Maria said from the stairs up to the front doors. “Come in, I bet you Rose has cooked up some good food.”

Eunji thought about it and felt her stomach grumble loudly. She blushed and guessed all the stress caused her to not notice her hunger until now. 

They entered the mansion and Eunji took a pause from the size of the entrance way. It was far too big for the building they just entered and Eunji kept glancing back outside then back to the entrance way.

“It’s old magic, makes things bigger on the inside and smaller on the outside.” Maria explained and wiggled her finger for Eunji to follow. 

Eunji followed Maria down a hallway and through the door into a large kitchen. All sorts of spices filled Eunji’s nose and slightly winced from how much it stung her nose at first. 

Eunji heard someone speaking in Spanish and quickly noticed it was Rose speaking it. Rose was wearing a black apron and her long hair tied up in a messy bun. “Maria, you should have warned her about the spices.”

Eunji moved to the large wooden island in the centre of the kitchen and watched as Rose walked towards Maria. Maria chuckled and playfully argued with Rose, who was also holding a wooden spoon. 

She could tell real fights and foreplay arguing between couples as she and Johnny would always have real fights. Eunji’s eyes trailed away from the two love birds and landed on the bowel of red jelly.

Eunji’s stomach growled and the jelly smelt very sweet to her new nose. Without thinking, Eunji picked up one of the square pieces and popped it into her mouth. She started to chew and it was tougher than she first thought it was but it tasted even sweeter than she had smelt.

She grabbed another piece and put it in her mouth with a happy hum. Her hum stopped the moment she noticed the two ladies had stopped fighting and stared at her.

“What?” Eunji asked after swallowing the red square. Maria started to snicker but stopped when Rose slapped the side of her arm with her free hand. “Was this jelly meant for something else?”

“That jelly isn’t jelly, that is chopped up pig liver and heart.” Rose said and Eunji felt a chill down her spine. “Don’t worry, your new stomach can handle raw meat…I was planning to cook it up in a stew.”

“Pig liver and heart?” Eunji repeated and both nodded to her question. “Why is raw meat so sweet now?” Logically she wanted to rush to sink to throw up but her body didn’t move and craved for more.

Maria stuck out her tongue and pointed to it, “The Lycan tongue is different from human, some foods like raw meat have sweeter taste to them.” Rose explained and slapped a wooden spoon to Maria’s tongue. Maria's eyes watered as she rushed to the sink and Eunji noticed some red stuff on the spoon.

“Spices are stronger too but harmless and taste better,” Rose giggled as she walked to the pot she was cooking with before they entered the room. “As long as you are prepared in eating it.”

She watched as Maria drank from the tap before turning it off and gave Rose a playful smirk. Maria said something in Spanish and Rose just chuckled from the words.

“We will see.” Rose cooed and stopped stirring whatever she was cooking. “But lunch is ready and we got a new pup to feed and fatten up~” Rose took the pot off the stove top and walked through a different set of doors.

Eunji looked at Maria with raised brow and Maria smirked, “Rose has grandma mind set with food, feed them till they pop.” Maria joked and sniffed the air. “Smells like you're going to meet the main members of the pack.”

“All of t-” Eunji was cut off by Maria grabbing her wrist and pulling her through the door that Rose went through. Eunji saw it was a large dining room and had a large table that could seat over thirty people but there were only three people sitting at it.

Maria pulled Eunji close to the front of the table and only let go of her wrist to pull out the chair for her. Eunji was nervous but sat down and Maria pushed her towards the table.

“I hope you haven’t been dragging her like that everywhere, Maria.” A soft and motherly voice said and Eunji looked at the woman who was sitting at the head of the table, and just left her.

Eunji was slightly thrown for a loop due to the woman's skin tone being so exotically dark and had a hint of blue hue to it. She had never seen that skin tone before and next thing to catch Eunji’s attention were the bright gold eyes.

“Of course not, but it looked like she was going to run when I said that all the main pack was here.” Maria said as sat down beside Eunji.

“I see,” The woman said and looked at Eunji. Eunji now saw burn marks that crawled to the left side of her face. “I am Juno Katz, you can come to me if you need anything as I am your pack leader.”

Eunji nodded quietly at Juno and felt a great power coming off of Juno. She felt like she was staring too much at Juno’s face and looked down but stopped as she saw Juno didn’t have a left arm.

“It happened a long time ago.” Juno said, causing Eunji to whip her eyes back to Juno’s face. It was a soft smile and trying to comfort Eunji’s mind, at least that was what Eunji felt like she was trying to do.

Someone cleared their throat and Eunji glanced at other two across from them, that Rose was dishing up. The one that cleared their throat was a white woman with scarlet red wild hair that went everywhere and deep blue eyes.

“Ah, where are my manners?” Juno said and nodded to the red head woman. “That is Alina Dreamwalker, she is our personal lawyer.”

“Privyet, pleasure to meet you.” Alina said and could clearly hear the Russian accent. Eunji spotted some tattooing on her chest but couldn’t fully see it at this angle. “It is good ve meet nov as I vill be avay for zree or four days as my vife has zose days off.”

Juno chuckled and looked to the next woman that was directly across from Eunji. “This is my daughter, Eva Katz.” Juno said and Eunji looked at Eva nervously.

Eva had the same skin tone and black hair as her mother but her eyes were deep forest green. Eunji could see Eva had muscular build under her off white dress shirt and Eva just gave Eunji a small polite nod.

“My Eva is not much of a talker and she is my right hand man.” Juno said and Eunji started to think. Juno was quiet and Eunji could feel she was waiting for Eunji’s thoughts to catch up to everything.

Finally Eunji got her thoughts in order, “What is Lycan if not werewolf and why am I called a Kumiho? Also do you all drive as crazy as Maria?” Eunji shot off quickly and waited for her answers.

Juno paused before smiling softly before speaking, “Lycan is an umbrella term we use for our race, a lot easier to say than therianthrope.” Juno explained and picked up her spoon to stir her food. “While not all Lycan are the same and to explain that is through breeding type.”

Eunji rubbed her chin when Juno paused and let the information sink in, “As for driving, only Maria is crazy viz it.” Alina piped up and Maria narrowed her eyes at Alina. “Or at least only one vhere you vish you vhere not in car viz her.”

“Having super human reaction time does tend to make us Lycans a little reckless with driving.” Rose said as put platters of food on the table and Eunji just realized Rose had left only to return with more food. “Enough talk, time to eat.” 

“Agree, after you eat Eunji, Rose will take you to your new room.” Juno said and Rose happily nodded. “Also Maria, please move your van to the parking lot we have, not in front of the mansion.”

Eunji looked at her plate and was a bit nervous at the bright red food on it. She silently gulped before grabbing her spoon and started to dig into food given to her.
