Eunji let out a sigh and slowed her breathing before she went from darkness to a wild prairie field. She could spot some trees in the distance and grass was knee high, with a mix of flowers.

She heard something snap behind her and twirled around to see a very large beautiful black wolfdog. It looked the same size as an American paint horse and its eyes were pretty blue. 

“This is my wolf,” Rose’s voice said before materializing beside the wolfdog and had a hand on its neck. “I let you into my mindscape where my wolf lives, this is magic only done between pack members.”

Eunji nodded and glanced around at the field, “It’s beautiful.” Eunji whispered and Rose’s wolf moved closer to Eunji but stopped when Rose gripped its fur.

“Not yet, Sangre, she is too new to all this.” Rose whispered to the wolf and the wolf backed down with a small sad whine. “She wants to talk to you but I believe it's a little too early for that.”

“I see,” Eunji said and nodded to the wolf. Wolf nodded back and laid down with Rose’s hand on top of her head. “Sangre?”

“All our wolves have names,” Rose said and walked to Eunji. “Maria’s wolf is called Otrera.” Rose held out her hand to Eunji. “May I see your inner world?”

Eunji didn’t know how to do that but she nodded before taking Rose’s hand. In seconds the field disappeared and they were back in void but Eunji heard snarling behind her.

Eunji spun around to see black fox with golden amber eyes and the size of a german shepherd. Golden chains pinned it to the ground and a silver cage surrounded it. It snarled and snapped its jaws and it looked dangerous caught in the chains.

Rose sighed and crossed her arms, “Not good.” Rose sounded saddened at the sight of the beast being chained. Eunji moved behind Rose in seeing the creature but Rose moved to not let her. “Eunji, this is your problem, unhealthy control and fear.”

“What do you mean?” Eunji asked, shaking in fear. “It looks like it wants to hurt us.”

Rose paused, “It’s like that because you put it in heavy chains and a cage.” Rose remarked and pointed to it. “Go grab it by the scruff of the neck and bite her ear.”

“What?!” Eunji yelled at Rose and her eyes were wide. Rose was unflinching and gestured to grab and bite motion. Eunji felt her jaw become slack for a moment before throwing up her arms, “Fine.”

Eunji muttered under breath about the crazy Lycan mindscape and paused at the cage before touching it. She phased through it and allowed her to walk into the cage without a door. Eunji stopped in front of the fox and looked back at Rose.

Rose gave her the thumbs up and Eunji sighed while rolling her eyes. Eunji moved herself to the side of the fox and kneeled before grabbing the scruff of its neck. The fox tried to bite her and it made Eunji feel frustrated.

“S-Stop t-trying to BITE ME!” Eunji yelled and grabbed the fox’s snout before lunging into biting its ear. The fox wined and went limp from the bite.

“Okay, now remove the chains!” Rose called out and Eunji let go of the fox’s ear and snout with disbelief on her face. “But keep holding the scruff of course.”

“Why not.” Eunji said as she grabbed one of the chains and pulled. To her surprise the chain broke like it was made out of air and Eunji looked to Rose, who was smiling. 

Eunji systematically removed the chains while keeping a hold on the fox’s scruff with one hand. Once all the chains were gone she looked to Rose and saw her mouth and gestured, ‘Slowly let go and slowly back out.’ 

She nodded and did as instructed to do it with ease. Eunji let out a sigh once out of the cage and looked to see the fox slowly stood up. The fox started to pace around the cage and Eunji noticed the fox had white patch in the shape of our pointed star on its forehead.

“One last thing for tonight, changing the cage.” Rose said and put her hands on Eunji’s shoulder. “Leaving it a small cage will stress her out and she will lash out at you for it.”

Eunji nodded and started to think about what would make a fox happy. She closed her eyes and clasped her hands together tightly as she focused. It felt like hours had passed by but Eunji knew better and she opened her eyes.

Instead of a dark void it had a forest by the lake side and it was a starry night. There was snow on the ground but the lake wasn’t frozen over and the waning crescent moon reflected on it. 

Eunji looked at the fox and it had stopped pacing before rushing into the forest. “A lot better, good job.” Rose whispered and patted Eunji’s head. “That was the easy part but enough for tonight.” 

Eunji closed her eyes and opened them back up to see them back to reality. She felt something warm behind her and she looked back to see Maria lying down still in her beast form.

“Hey there, Maria.” Eunji said as tried to stand up but it felt like pins and needles as her legs had fallen asleep. Maria quickly shifted herself and supported Eunji, preventing her from falling over.

“I think it’s time for young pups to go to bed.” Rose chuckled as she stood up and Maria got up along with her. “You’ve had a wild first day and you need to decompress.”

Eunji was about to say something but a big yawn stopped her, “You’re right.” She held onto Maria’s fur and felt drained of energy now. No one said a word to the elevator and only Eunji entered it once they arrived at the elevator. “Good night.”

“Good night, Eunji,” Rose waved and Maria made a happy huff before the elevator door closed. Eunji made her way back to her bedroom after the elevator ride up and once in her room she flopped onto the bed.

She sluggishly got under the covers and closed her eyes. She found herself on the lake beach in mindscape and sitting with knees against her chest and head resting on her knees.

In the corner of her eye she could see her fox and it was growling, “Shut up and go to sleep.” Eunji muttered and the fox snorted at her words.

“I am Starlight.” The fox hissed in Korean and Eunji turned her head to look at her fox. It was low to the ground, ready to pounce but took pause from Eunji not reacting.

“Okay…Shut up and go to sleep, Starlight.” Eunji said and the fox was taken aback by Eunji’s words. The two stared at each other before the fox huffed and wandered to an oak tree. It curled up under the tree and Eunji returned to looking out to the lake as drifted into dreams.

Maria was standing in a small glade and looking up at the false starry night. She had just returned into her human form after running around the forest with Rose and she let out a small sigh.

She could hear Rose sneak up on her and Maria smirked as she felt Rose’s strong arms wrap around her waist. Maria felt Rose gently press against her body and give her neck a kiss.

Rose giggled, “Hello there,” She whispered and Maria moved her hands to rest on Rose’s hands. “I guess I’m going to need to redo your hair again.”

“Seems so but worth it,” Maria said as she remembered shifting into her beast form caused her hair revert back to her natural color of black hair. 

“But that can wait but for now…” Rose whispered as one hand slid down Maria’s smooth stomach and the other slowly moved to grope Maria’s breast. Maria blushed when Rose nibbled one of her spike ear piercings and let out a gasp as Rose’s fingers curled into her.

Maria let out a gasp of joy and warm rush coming over her. She loved when Rose gently played with her and made her weak in the knees. Maria turned her head and gave Rose a pleading whine for a kiss.

Maria saw the coy smile on Rose’s face and leaned in to kiss without Maria having to whine more. The kiss sent a warm sensation down Maria’s body and trembled happily in feeling Rose’s soft lips.

The kiss broke away with a loud gasp, “Ros-” Maria was interrupted by a bathrobe hitting her face.

“No sex in the hunting grounds.” Eva’s voice called out from the forest and Maria felt her heart sink. “Go do that in your rooms where there is sound proofing.”

“S-Sure thing, Eva.” Rose called out and Maria could hear the embarrassment in her voice. Maria saw another bathrobe be tossed out from the forest and Rose caught it.

Rose just chuckled as put on the bathrobe that hit her face and Rose was blushing a deep red as she put hers on. “Come you hear the lady~” Maria teased as grabbed Rose’s hand to start walking to the elevator. 

“Oh gosh, hope she doesn’t tell Juno.” Rose muttered in Spanish and used her other hand to cover half her face. Maria could only let out a hearty laugh and gave Rose a small kiss on her cheek.

Eunji was in the middle of chewing a piece of bacon at breakfast time and Juno put down her fork. “Eunji,” Juno said, causing Eunji to stop chewing in fear. “There are some rules in hunting grounds but number one is ‘No sex in hunting grounds’.”

Eunji was confused at first but realized Juno wasn’t looking at Eunji and more using her to state the rule at someone else. She glanced around and saw Rose covering her face with her ears tips turning red and Maria had a nervous smile on her face. 

Eunji silently snickered as she figured Rose and Maria got caught having some fun after she left them alone. “Isn’t that right, Ladies?” Juno smiled but Eunji noticed that smile didn’t reach her eyes.

“Of course, Juno.” Maria said with a nervous smile and Rose was still covering her face out of embarrassment, probably red as tomato as well.
