Lang Xinya, still holding Yao Qiu's arm to make sure he keeps walking, has now arrived in front of a pretty big house, it is a mansion surrounded by walls and gates. The huge gates they are in front of shows that the people living in this house are rich, it seems to be a house of demon hunters and demon killers as well.

Realising that, Yao Qiu panics a lot about this trip. So he suddenly stops walking and free his arm from Lang Xinya's strong hand :

-"Erm... Why are we stopping here ?" He softly rubs his arm to make the pain of Lang Xinya's hand grabbing strongly away.

-"Just come in."

Yao Qiu isn't feeling really good about going in a demon killer's house. It is indicated by wooden signs all around the house as a warning for any demon linked people who would like to visit them.

Before stepping into this terrifying mansion, Yao Qiu makes sure his forehead tattoo isn't showing and that his body tattoos aren't showing as well. The demon master doesn't really want to go in this house, not only because the people living in here are against any kind of demonism but also because they are rich, so they can get rid of anyone really easily and discreetly.

Lang Xinya is already walking in the mansion's garden, he seems to know this place really well, he just walks looking straight in front of him and knowing perfectly the path he is taking.

Yao Qiu is still outside, he hears a discreet noise coming from a brush a bit farther from the house, he even hears a small "psssst" coming from it, as if something or someone is calling for him. Yao Qiu takes a quick look at Lang Xinya, making sure he is still walking and not looking behind him.

After making sure the demon hunter isn’t looking for him, Yao Qiu carefully walks to the bush that called him. He stops right in front of that bush and hesitates but mutters, slightly bending over it :

-"Erm... Who's there ?"

A hand suddenly gets out of the bush to grab Yao Qiu's collar. The latter softly yells, as if his voice is muffled, he is pulled in that middle sized bush. The demon master is obviously frightened by what just happened, so he tries to defend himself by punching the person who grabbed him. But this person does not try to fight back, they're just begging :

-"Master ! Please stop ! It is us ! Did you already forget ?" It is in fact Susu, Yao Qiu's puppet, who carefully and discreetly followed its master.

-"Why are you here ?" Yao Qiu wonders, while sitting properly next to Susu. He wipes out some dirt from his clothes, which are still really dirty.

The crow puppet turned into what's left of a human warns the demon master, a bit too late :

-"Don't follow this guy. He's leading you to a horrible place. Full of demon hunters and demon killers. You'll die for sure here !" It looks really panicked.

Yao Qiu tries to calm it down, by simply putting his hands on its shoulders and talking softly, to not let anyone know someone is in this bush :

-"I know that, calm down. I saw the signs on the gate, you're warning me a bit too late. I'll be careful in there, don't come with me."

The puppet widens its eyes, kind of meaning 'why would you go in here ?!' but Yao Qiu instantly reassures it :

-"My friend brought me here. If there's any problems I still can run away or fight back. Now I have to go."

Then the demon master doesn't wait for Susu to reply and just goes away from the bush before Lang Xinya notices that the demon master is gone.

Arriving again in front of the mansion's gate, Yao Qiu hesitates to go in for a short moment, then he decides to run to the demon hunter. He runs and end up standing right next to him, then he suddenly remembers something. He remembers that Lang Xinya talked about a demonic smell a few hours ago, the demon hunter said the smell wasn't the one "coming from him".

Remembering that, Yao Qiu slightly panics, thinking his friend brought him to this place in order to kill the demon master in a more discreet way. Since he took a pretty long time to think about it, they are now both in front of the entry door of the mansion.

Yao Qiu panics a bit more, thinking it already the end for him, once again. So the demon master discreetly side eyes the one standing straight next to him, Lang Xinya seems relaxed in this place. The one linked to demonism hesitates a bit :

-"Erm... Why are we here and why did you..." Yao Qiu can't finish asking his question that the door magically opens, as if the mansion's owner knew someone was waiting in front of the door.

The person opening the door is a woman in her 50's, at the moment she sees Lang Xinya, she instantly smiles and greets him :

-"Lang Xinya ! My son ! What brings you here ?"

-"I haven't come in a long time, so I wanted to visit you."

His serious face from before immediately fades away seeing his mother, he draws a huge smile on his face. He seems really happy to see her. For now, he doesn't tell the truth about Pan Rong coming to earth since he doesn't want to worry and put people he likes in danger before eliminating the Demon God for good.

The woman finally notices Yao Qiu, she slightly frowns an eyebrow, showing her curiosity about this stranger. Lang Xinya notices it, so he briefly introduces the demon master to his mother :

-"Mom, this is Yao Qiu, a friend. Yao Qiu, this is my mother, Lang Jilpa."

Yao Qiu smiles and politely bows to Lang Jilpa, not really knowing how to interact with her since it is their first time meeting.

By the way, Yao Qiu is still trying to hide that he is linked to demonism so he isn't in danger inside that huge mansion. He obviously knows and recently remembered that demon killers and demon hunters can feel/smell demonic aura, so it won't take that long for everyone in this house to guess what he is, he is indeed in danger here.

Lang Jilpa looks at Yao Qiu from head to toes, she seems to be examining the way he looks, then she turns her head to talk to Lang Xinya :

-"Would you mind lending some clothes to your friend ? His are all dirty and damaged and erm... that's it." There's something she wants to say but she doesn't, instead she simply says :

-"You two, come inside. Don't stay under the sun for too long."

They take a few steps and end up inside of what seems to be Lang Xinya's childhood home. It seems clear because it feels like the demon hunter perfectly knows that mansion. He walks straight to the main room of the place, some more people are already in it. One of them, a young woman in her early 20's, suddenly gets up to hug Lang Xinya, one of her two brothers. She seems to be the youngest of this family.

-"You are back ! We missed you so much !" She says, smiling.

For truth, Lang Xinya couldn't go back home because of the small house to renovate which led to the adventure he is having with Yao Qiu. The two young man’s target is now to trap Pan Rong to refrain or even stop them from doing evil things, but they have to find the demon god before.

Lang Xinya smiles back at his younger sister, he indeed missed every of his family members.

Then she turns her gaze to the demon master, she examines him from head to toes, she suddenly notes, asking :

-"What's that demon smell ?"

Yao Qiu's eyes widen, he doesn't know what to say so he slightly panics but Lang Xinya steps closer to the demon master, grabs one of his arms in a friendly way, then says :

-"That's because we killed some on our way here." Lang Xinya lies to his family, as if it isn't that important.

In fact, he lies because he is curious about the white glowing light he saw coming from Yao Qiu's hands the other night. He continues :

-"I'll lend him some clothes now." He smiling and slowly walking away, pulling Yao Qiu with him.
