They are living in that cave for a few days, leaving some time for Yao Qiu to heal a bit more from his injuries. By the way, they are now... four in this cave ?!

Right after healing the demon master, Liao Bo went back to the creature she froze with the motionless talisman. She examined it more closely, it is clearly not her first time seeing what she calls it being an 'angel of darkness'. It is said that those creatures come directly from the demon god themself, not by some random demon masters.

After Liao Bo examined it for a bit she took out another talisman from one of her sleeves, this one is used to calm down any kind of demonic form, it is a really rare paper talisman. She placed it on the angel's back, by the way she obviously saw and understood that this creature isn’t fully possessed so she'll try to help it becoming a human again despite she is a simply demon killer. She can't really do anything for that creature for now, that's why she'll count on Lang Xinya to help her with that.

After bringing the creature in the cave, Lang Xinya panicked at first when seeing that, he hurriedly exclaimed :

-"What are you doing ? This creature tried to kill my friend and I, just get rid of it already !"

But Liao Bo didn't answer, she just walked straight at the end of this small cave and tied the angel's arms with golden magic. The creature is now tied with something similar to chains. Lang Xinya keeps expressing his panic :

-"What if the creature gets crazy and tries to kill us all ?"

-"It won't, I calmed it down with a powerful talisman. And don't even try to hurt it." The woman turns around to face Lang Xinya, again on the floor, close to Yao Qiu, sleeping and slowly healing his wounds. Liao Bo adds, "The human in it is still alive."

-"If the person isn't completely possessed then why did it attack my friend to close death ? Huh ?"

-"Are you stupid ? Although it is not completely possessed it is still a lot possessed, so the demonic side has advantage on the body." Liao Bo replies, pretty triggered.

It seems like she knows more about the angel of darkness than what she says.

Back to the present, despite the fact that they are all used to seeing that demonic creature for a few days now, Yao Qiu is always surprised by it even though the demonic beast is really calm thanks to Liao Bo's calming talisman. The demon master received a huge shock from this angel of darkness.

By the way, the demon master is alone in the cave with the beast, he stays far from it, at the entrance of the cave. He keeps an eye on it, frightened it might attack again. The other humans left to find food for the next few days, and to find medicinal plants to take care of the demon master's wounds.

After a long moment of silence, the beast starts to... mumble something ? Yao Qiu’s eyebrows frown hearing a voice coming from this thing. The demon master has indeed no idea that the demonic beast is still partially a human.

-"Help... Demon hunter please help..." It says, struggling to point at Yao Qiu. The latter doesn't react that much since he isn't a demon hunter. So the beast keeps calling him, trying to get his attention once more :

-"You, the demon hunter in red. Help me..."

Then Yao Qiu is a bit perturbed by being called what he used to be in his past life, so he walks one step closer, then softly and asks with fear :

-"Are.. Are you talking about me ? Do you know me ?" He starts to panic, what if someone recognizes him from his past life ? It would definitely be the end for him.

-"Yes... You smell like a... Demon hunter, you must be one." Despite the beast talking really well, it stops from time to time to breathe heavily and to growl like a monster.

The demon master takes some time to think, then he suddenly looks at his own clothes, the ones he took from Lang Xinya. He quickly realises that it is why the beast calls him a demon hunter, because he has Lang Xinya's smell on him ! The demon master is relieved so he takes a deep breath and talks :

-"Oh that. I.. I'm not a demon hunter, I'm a demon master. The smell is from erm... A friend of mine."

Right when saying the name of his new profession he looked all around making sure Liao Bo, the demon killer, isn't around. The healer and demon killer make sure she brazenly told them that she is a really good demon killer. But the thing is that Yao Qiu doesn't know that she knows he is a demon master, so he always acts weird and quiet around her. In truth, it is the sane behaviour than when he is around people other than Lang Xinya.

Their conversation can’t be longer than that, the demon side of beast is taking advantage again. So the creature starts to be a bit agitated, but not that much thanks to the talisman placed on its back.

At this right moment, Lang Xinya and Liao Bo come back after a few hours outside of that cave. The demon hunter has a basket full of food, but not enough to stay more than a day or two. Liao Bo has a basket full of products to clean and heal Yao Qiu's wounds faster. Because of the lack of food, they'll have to move away really quickly.

Liao Bo notices that the demon master is a few steps closer to the creature, so she is a bit surprised so she asks :

-"Aren't you scared of that creature after what it did to you ?" She asks while putting in order what she found outside, she is in fact preparing a spot to clean up Yao Qiu's wounds. It hasn't been done in a few days. Noticing that Yao Qiu isn't giving an answer, she keeps talking :

-"Alright, now come here. I have to clean your wounds."

Hearing that, Yao Qiu just steps back, he ends up bumping into Lang Xinya who is placing some of the food in cold spots to preserve it as much as he can. The demon hunter turns around :

-"What ? She just wants to clean your wounds."

But Yao Qiu shakes his head, showing that he doesn't want it to happen, the demon hunter simply asks the reason for this reaction. Yao Qiu gets closer to Lang Xinya and carefully whispers to his hear so Liao Bo can't hear him :

-"I don't want her to see that I'm a demon master."

Lang Xinya sighs a bit :

-"She already knows about it."

But Yao Qiu keeps staring at Lang Xinya. The demon master does not really trust Liao Bo, despite the fact that they met a few days ago and that she saved both of the men's lives. He still doesn't trust her.

The demon hunter keeps talking :

-"What ? You want me to clean your wounds ?"

Yao Qiu says nothing but Lang Xinya obviously knows it means 'yes' because he hasn't moved an eye away from him. It is a bit weird for Yao Qiu to request his friend to do that instead of accepting some professional help.

The demon master also requests for Liao Bo to stay out of the cave or at least to not look at the demon master's body, despite she already did when she healed him. By the way, she didn't try to kill him even though being a demon killer, it is maybe because Lang Xinya is around, so she didn't try.

After a few pieces of advice and explanations from Liao Bo, Lang Xinya can now start cleaning up what the demonic creature did to Yao Qiu.

They are now both in that cave, the beast is still chained up and Liao Bo is patiently waiting outside, she mutters to herself :

-"Why the hell wouldn't he want me to help when I already helped him ? If he wanted some time with his husband he should have said so. What am I going to do now ? I can't examine the angel right now."

Inside the cave, Yao Qiu decides to go to a discreet corner to make sure no one sees his demonic tattoos. Then he hesitates a bit before showing his damaged torso to the demon hunter, the situation is really similar to what happened a few days ago, when they were both in Lang Xinya’s bedroom. Despite the fact that he kind of wants to taste a man's lips again he can't just go for a kiss as if it is nothing at all.

He finally unties his top to open it and shows bandages covering almost all of his upper body, the attack was really savage and painful. Lang Xinya's hands go to the bandage to take it off, he is helped by Yao Qiu, both sitting on the rocky and cold floor.

The demon hunter is carefully looking at Yao Qiu's wounds, making sure everything is fine. After that, he takes a wet piece of cloth to clean some blood that was still there. The piece of tissue is cold, so it gives shivers to Yao Qiu, Lang Xinya simply whispers a calm "sorry" before continuing to clean the demon master's torso.

After finishing with that piece of cloth, Lang Xinya takes some crushed herbs that he carefully places on the healing wounds. It is cold as well, Yao Qiu doesn't react, he is too much in his mind, thinking about something. That's why he suddenly asks :

-"Why did you let me kiss you ?"

The demon hunter is surprised by that unexpected question, he never thought that Yao Qiu would mention it. He doesn't answer, unable to admit that he is attracted to the one in front of him. So he just stays quiet and keeps placing the crushed herbs, this time a bit less carefully since he is slightly disturbed by that question.

It inflicts a small pain to Yao Qiu's wounds :

-"Ouch... It was just a question. Don't hurt me."

Lang Xinya’s gestures instantly become softer after hearing that he unintentionally hurt the one in front of him. He secretly wants his full trust to help him find out about, first, him being linked to superior entities and second, to help him control those weird lights coming out of his hands. The weird lights aren't that weird, it is in fact just magic but 'normal' demon masters don't have that kind of magic, that's why Lang Xinya is really curious about it and even more now that he knows that Yao Qiu is really certainly linked to a superior entity.

The demon hunter is now placing some new bandages all around Yao Qiu's wounds. By the way, Lang Xinya kept his eyes on the demon master's torso, he never looked at the other man’s face while helping cleaning the wounds.

Lang Xinya asks, his eyes still on the bandages :

-"You, why did you kiss me ?"

-"I already told you, it was tempting."

-"Is it... still tempting ?.." Lang Xinya suddenly asks, finally looking into Yao Qiu's eyes.
