The demon master says nothing, he just uppers his hands, to end up pointing them at the one in front of him. Liao Bo and Lang Xinya don't know how to react, they both saw what the demon master's powers can do to a strong tiger, they don't even want to imagine what it can do to a basic human being.

None of them have time to react that Yao Qiu is already angrily throwing a sphere of light at Liu Hien. At the impact, the stall instantly explodes, pieces of wood end up burning all around them. By the way they are still surrounded by the dead bodies Liu Hien summoned before, none of them reacted to that direct attack.

A pack of white smoke spreads in the air before Liu Hien's silhouette appears. He is still alive ! This glowing light shot was even more powerful than the one Yao Qiu threw at the tiger before.

How is it even possible for Liu Hien to still be alive ? As he mentioned before, he really became immortal while turning to demonism. More than a hundred years ago, Liu Hien had the chance to meet the demon god, the latter gave him eternal life in exchange of being really invested in demonism and in exchange of turning everyone around him to demonism.

Liu Hien's clothes are burning a bit, he simply extinguishes the small patches of fire with his bare hands, it doesn't damage or hurt him. Both Liao Bo and Lang Xinya are surprised, it is indeed not their first time seeing an immortal being, they are impressed because they finally realise that they are standing right in front of Liu Hien, the one who had power to attract enough demons to destroy an entire city and to kill its population.

Lang Xinya silently thinks :

-"So the one who destroyed the whole city is real. It is Liu Hien, the one right in front of us." Despite thinking that and progressively panicking, the demon hunter's face stays emotionless. He doesn't want the immortal being to know he is afraid of him.

After extinguishing the fire with his bare hands, Liu Hien talks :

-"How dare you attack me ? If I retaliate, you're gonna die for sure. And I'll do that."

After saying that, he starts to slowly walk to Yao Qiu, stepping on some fire spots. Everyone is petrified by what they just saw, they don't dare to move a bit.

Liu Hien is now in front of Yao Qiu, the one all dressed in black grabs the demon master by the neck then lifts him. The demon master slightly struggles to breathe, trying to get off of the other one's hands. Yao Qiu struggles to talk :

-"Argh... Let me... Down..."

-"Why would I ? You just tried to kill me." Liu Hien adds more pressure on Yao Qiu's neck.

The angel of darkness starts to be agitated, it becomes so agitated that Liao Bo can't handle the possessed one anymore, so she unintentionally lets the chains down; so the angel of darkness rushes to Liu Hien and violently pushes him to the ground. So the one dressed in black lets Yao Qiu down, the latter violently falls on the ground. The demon master stays on the floor for a bit, trying to catch his breath. Lang Xinya quickly approaches him and helps him getting up :

-"Are you alright ?"

-"We have to stop this bastard." Yao Qiu talks softly to not get Liu Hien's attention while gently rubbing his own throat to make the pain go away.

While the demon master is gathering some of the energy he has left, the angel of darkness is starting a fight with the immortal being but why would a demonic creation fight someone linked to demonism ? Is it because before turning to demonism, Liu Hien was a demon hunter ? But it has been so long, he doesn't smell like a demon hunter anymore. Or is it just because the angel of darkness wants to protect Yao Qiu ? No one knows.

The angel of darkness violently punches Liu Hien in the face; it also starts to use its claws on the man’s body. But Liu Hien quickly pushes the angel of darkness and gets up, he surprisingly has absolutely no injuries on his body, only his clothes are damaged, partly torn apart. Then he slowly starts to walk to the angel of darkness, to attack it in order to kill it but Yao Qiu interferes, the demon master concentrates to create another sphere of energy. This time it quickly forms, it seems like Yao Qiu is more and more mastering his powers.

Yao Qiu finally finishes by quickly throwing that sphere of energy at the one in black, this time and thanks to the sphere's force, Liu Hien ends up being projected a bit farther. So he ends up laying down at the feet of some dead bodies he summoned earlier. The sphere's force was so strong that it even produced a blow strong enough to move up the dust from the ground. Lang Xinya and Liao Bo are hiding their face to protect themselves from the projected wind and dust, the demon hunter is impressed by his friend's growing power.

Liu Hien coughs a bit before slowly getting up, as if he is injured, which is weird since he is supposed to be immortal and proved it by getting no injuries during the previous attacks. After fully getting up, Liu Hien turns around to face the other ones from afar. With her good eyesight, Liao Bo instantly notices blood coming out of his nose :

-"He's bleeding ! Look at his nose !"

At this precise moment, Liu Hien is experiencing a sensation he hasn't felt in an extremely long time, he is hurt. After feeling some of his blood dripping off his nose, he immediately wipes it off, as if he is ashamed of showing signs of weakness to other people. Then he quickly yet gently whistles to order all the dead bodies to go away. Liu Hien finally flies away, without saying a word, as if he is surprised about his old friend's powers, by the way, everyone in here is surprised that Yao Qiu succeeded in hurting an immortal being.

Does it mean that only the demon master can kill immortal beings ? Is he the only weak point of every immortal being ? It also means that he can beat Pan Rong now.

Both Lang Xinya and Liao Bo carefully approach the demon master, still shocked about his power's strength. Arriving at his level, Lang Xinya gently puts a hand on Yao Qiu's shoulder, then he softly talks :

-"Are you ok ?.."

Yao Qiu slows his breath, trying to calm down, he also puts down both of his hands and turns around to face the demon hunter :

-"I'm not sure..." He says that because he obviously has so many questions about Liu Hien's situation in mind right now.

Yao Qiu also seems weakened by so many uses of his powers, plus he hasn't eaten since the day before so he is even more weakened because of that. Lang Xinya instantly notices it so he just talks :

-"Climb on my back, we'll find some food. You need to eat something, you look really pale."

The demon master doesn't question the demon hunter's decision due to his sudden weakness so he directly, with difficulty, climbs on Lang Xinya's back. By the way, they have to go away from this place since Liu Hien, someone hypothetically working with the demon god, knows where the demon master and his friends are, so Liu Hien won't hesitate to reveal their position.

After walking for a few kilometres in the forest and luckily meeting no savage beasts, the group of people and demon related creatures are starting to see a city from afar. Lang Xinya almost exclaims :

-"A city ! That's nice, we'll finally be able to eat something !"

But Liao Bo instantly stops him by talking :

-"Wait, this city is probably full of humans, it is noisy. We can't go in with two demonic creatures, they citizens will try to kill them."

So Lang Xinya turns around with Yao Qiu, eyes closed and still on his back, holding the one with a bright outfit tightly to not fall. The demon hunter says :

-"Susu can handle being by itself but the creature you are holding with the chains... I'm not sure about this one."

-"Don't worry about the Angel of Darkness, I'll find a place to hide her. You can go first, Yao Qiu needs food to get his energy back."

After saying that, Liao Bo starts walking into the forest, followed by Susu, leaving Lang Xinya alone with the demon master still on his back. Liao Bo did that as if she doesn't give any choice to the demon hunter, he looks at her going away, a bit perplexed. Before the demon hunter can mutter some words to express his incomprehension towards Liao Bo going away by herself, Yao Qiu opens his eyes and softly talks to Lang Xinya's ears :

-"Lang Xinya... I'm hungry..." Then his stomach growls really loudly.

-"Good news. We found a city. Just wait a bit more, then you'll be able to eat all the food you want.
